Quantifying the density contrasts of the Earth’s inner core boundary(ICB)is crucial to understand core-mantle coupling and the generation of the *** PKiKP/PcP amplitude ratio is commonly used to obtain the density contrast at the ICB,but its applications are limited by scattered observed *** this study,we selected the PKiKP and PcP phases reflected at the same region of inner-core and core-mantle boundaries beneath Northeast Asia from different earthquakes for the first time,and the observations suggested that the PKiKP/PcP amplitude ratio is widely *** also compared the PKiKP and PcP amplitudes,which demonstrated that the scatter cannot be attributed only to ICB anomalies but might also arise from raypath differences and heterogeneities throughout the crust and *** fitting the observed PKiKP/PcP amplitude ratio,we obtained a density contrast of approximately 0.65 g cm^(-3) and a compressional velocity contrast of approximately 0.87 km s^(-1) at the ICB beneath Northeast *** larger contrast values indicate the possible occurrence of local crystallization occurring at the inner core surface.

We have constrained a small-scale,dome-shaped low-velocity structure near the core-mantle boundary(CMB)of Earth beneath Perm(the Perm anomaly)using travel-time analysis and three-dimensional(3-D)forward waveform modeling of seismic data sampling of the *** best-fitting dome-shaped model centers at 60.0°E,50.5°N,and has a height of 400 km and a radius that increases from 200 km at the top to 450 km at the *** velocity reduction varies from 0%at the top to–3.0%at 240km above the CMB to–3.5%at the CMB.A surrounding 240-km-thick high-velocity D''structure has also been *** Perm anomaly may represent a stable smallscale chemical pile in the lowermost mantle,although the hypothesis of a developing mantle plume cannot be ruled out.

A method for reconstructing crustal velocity structure using the optimization of stacking receiver function amplitude in the depth domain,named common conversion amplitude(CCA)inversion,is *** conversion amplitude in the depth domain,which represents the impedance change in the medium,is obtained by assigning the receiver function amplitude to the corresponding conversion position where the P-to-S conversion *** the conversion amplitude variation with depth as an optimization objective,imposing reliable prior constraints on the structural model frame and velocity range,and adopting a stepwise search inversion technique,this method efficiently weakens the tendency of easily falling into the local extremum in conventional receiver function *** tests show that the CCA inversion can reconstruct complex crustal velocity structures well and is especially suitable for revealing crustal evolution by estimating diverse velocity *** performance in reconstructing crustal structure is superior to that of the conventional receiver function imaging method.

As an research example of the widely existing cooperation-competition systems,the authorspresent an empirical investigation on a fruit nutritive factor *** is described by a node-weightedbipartite *** fruit nutritive factors are defined as the nodes,and two nodes are connected by anedge if at least one fruit contains these two nutritive *** fruits are defined as the *** node-weight W_(nt),which signifies the 'importance degree' of each actor node,is defined as thecont ent of a nutritive factor in a *** empirical investigation results show some unique *** node-weight distributions take so-called 'shifted power law' function forms,but the act-weightdistribution takes a normal *** degree and act-degree distributions show impulsive-spectrumlike *** observations may be helpful for the study of *** network description methodproposed in this article may be universal for a kind of cooperation-competition systems.

Caffeine is considered as one of the most important bioactive components in the popular plant beverages tea,cacao,and coffee,but as a wide-spread plant secondary metabolite its biosynthetic regulation at transcription level remains largely ***,we report a novel transcription factor Camellia sinensis Senescnece 40(CsS40)as a caffeine biosynthesis regulator,which was discovered during screening a yeast expression library constructed from tea leaf cDNAs for activation of tea caffeine synthase(TCS1)*** multiple hits of the non-self-activation CsS40 clones that bound to and activated TCS1 promoter in yeast-one-hybrid assays,a split-luciferase complementation assay demonstrated that CsS40 acts as a transcription factor to activate the CsTCS1 gene and EMSA assay also demonstrated that CsS40 bound to the TCS1 gene ***,immunofluorescence data indicated that CsS40-GFP fusion was localized in the nuclei of tobacco epidermal *** expression pattern of CsS40 in‘Fuding Dabai’developing leaves was opposite to that of TCS1;and knockdown and overexpression of CsS40 in tea leaf calli significantly increased and decreased TCS1 expression levels,*** expression levels of CsS40 were also negatively correlated to caffeine accumulation in developing leaves and transgenic calli of‘Fuding Dabai’.Furthermore,overexpression of CsS40 reduced the accumulation of xanthine and hypoxanthine in tobacco plants,meanwhile,increased their susceptibility to ***40 expression in tea leaves was also induced by senescence-promoting hormones and environmental *** together,we showed that a novel senescence-related factor CsS40 negatively regulates TCS1 and represses caffeine accumulation in tea cultivar‘Fuding Dabai’.The study provides new insights into caffeine biosynthesis regulation by a plant-specific senescence regulator in tea plants in connection to leaf senescence and hormone signaling.

Research on Multi-Wave Pore Pressure Prediction Method Based on Three Field Velocity Fusion

We detect an 850 km thick low-velocity structure in the Earth’s lowermost mantle beneath Kamchatka surrounded by and overlying a 210 km thick high-velocity D′′*** velocity structure is constrained by modeling the observed anomalously broadened waveforms for seismic shear waves sampling the lowermost mantle recorded at large distances from 90°to 100°.Waveform modeling analyses reveal that the low-velocity anomaly has a stem with a diameter of about 550 km in the lowermost 210 km of the mantle and a cap with a diameter of about 1600 *** low-velocity structure of the cap decreases from0%at the top toà1.5%at about 400 km above the core-mantle boundary(CMB)and toà1.2%at 210 km above the *** suggest that the geometrical and velocity features of the low-velocity anomaly indicate that it may represent a localized mantle plume undetected before in the lower mantle.

The optimization of velocity field is the core issue in reservoir seismic pressure prediction. For a long time, the seismic processing velocity analysis method has been used in the establishment of pressure prediction velocity field, which has a long research period and low resolution and restricts the accuracy of seismic pressure prediction;This paper proposed for the first time the use of machine learning algorithms, based on the feasibility analysis of wellbore logging pressure prediction, to integrate the CVI velocity inversion field, velocity sensitive post stack attribute field, and AVO P-wave and S-wave velocity reflectivity to obtain high-precision seismic P and S wave velocities. On this basis, high-resolution formation pore pressure and other parameters prediction based on multi waves is carried out. The pressure prediction accuracy is improved by more than 50% compared to the P-wave resolution of pore pressure prediction using only root mean square velocity. Practice has proven that the research method has certain reference significance for reservoir pore pressure prediction.
