Rational design of viable routes to obtain efficient and stable oxygen evolution reaction(OER)electrocatalysts remains challenging,especially under industrial ***,we provide a solvent-steam assisted corrosion engineering strategy to directly fabricate high-entropy NiF e-LDH with spatially resolved structural *** fluoride in methanol steam enables the formation of nanosheets while Fe^(3+)effectively enhances their adhesion to the semi-sacrificial nickel-iron foam(NFF),thereby conjuring up a Ni Fe-LDH@NFF catalyst that exhibits remarkable adaptability to robust electrochemical activation yet with excellent *** measurements reveal the in-situ formation of high-valance metal oxyhydroxide and the enhancement of adsorption-desorption *** the industrial condition(6 mol/L KOH,60℃),the Ni Fe-LDH@NFF exhibits excellent activity of 50 mA/cm^(2) at 1.55 V and high durability of over 120 h at 200 mA/cm^(2).We anticipate that the steam assisted strategy could promote the development of efficient non-precious electrocatalysts for hydrogen energy.

Transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD),and tensile tests were used to study the effects of strain rates(0.1,1 and 9.1 s^(-1))on the microstructure and mechanical properties of spray-formed Al-Cu-Mg alloys during large-strain rolling at 420℃.Results show that during hot rolling,the proportion of high-angle grain boundaries(HAGBs)and the degree of dynamic recrystallization(DRX)initially increase and then decrease,whereas the average grain size and dislocation density show the opposite trend with the increase of the strain *** addition,the number of S′phases in the matrix decreases,and the grain boundary precipitates(GBPs)become coarser and more discontinuous as the strain rate *** the strain rate increases from 0.1 to 9.1 s^(-1),the tensile strength of the alloy decreases from 492.45 to 427.63 MPa,whereas the elongation initially increases from 12.1%to 21.8%and then decreases to 17.7%.

Photonic platforms are gradually emerging as a promising option to encounter the ever-growing demand for artificial intelligence,among which photonic time-delay reservoir computing(TDRC)is widely *** such a computing paradigm can only employ a single photonic device as the nonlinear node for data processing,the performance highly relies on the fading memory provided by the delay feedback loop(FL),which sets a restriction on the extensibility of physical implementation,especially for highly integrated ***,we present a simplified photonic scheme for more flexible parameter configurations leveraging the designed quasi-convolution coding(QC),which completely gets rid of the dependence on *** delay-based TDRC,encoded data in QC-based RC(QRC)enables temporal feature extraction,facilitating augmented memory ***,our proposed QRC is enabled to deal with time-related tasks or sequential data without the implementation of ***,we can implement this hardware with a low-power,easily integrable vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser for high-performance parallel *** illustrate the concept validation through simulation and experimental comparison of QRC and TDRC,wherein the simpler-structured QRC outperforms across various benchmark *** results may underscore an auspicious solution for the hardware implementation of deep neural networks.

Precise polyp segmentation is vital for the early diagnosis and prevention of colorectal cancer(CRC)in clinical ***,due to scale variation and blurry polyp boundaries,it is still a challenging task to achieve satisfactory segmentation performance with different scales and *** this study,we present a novel edge-aware feature aggregation network(EFA-Net)for polyp segmentation,which can fully make use of cross-level and multi-scale features to enhance the performance of polyp ***,we first present an edge-aware guidance module(EGM)to combine the low-level features with the high-level features to learn an edge-enhanced feature,which is incorporated into each decoder unit using a layer-by-layer ***,a scale-aware convolution module(SCM)is proposed to learn scale-aware features by using dilated convolutions with different ratios,in order to effectively deal with scale ***,a cross-level fusion module(CFM)is proposed to effectively integrate the cross-level features,which can exploit the local and global contextual ***,the outputs of CFMs are adaptively weighted by using the learned edge-aware feature,which are then used to produce multiple side-out segmentation *** results on five widely adopted colonoscopy datasets show that our EFA-Net outperforms state-of-the-art polyp segmentation methods in terms of generalization and *** implementation code and segmentation maps will be publicly at https://***/taozh2017/EFANet.

With advances in the thrust-weight ratio,the service temperature of gas turbine engines even exceeds 1500℃,which is urgent for the development of high/superhigh-temperature thermal protection systems(TPSs)for long-term *** alloys are increasingly viewed as promising structural materials for high-temperature applications because of their superior high-temperature mechanical strength,but the“pest”catastrophic oxidation greatly restricts their further *** this study,a HfC–HfO2-modified silicide coating was prepared via an innovative method of halide-activated pack cementation(HAPC)combined with liquid-plasma-assisted particle deposition and sintering of niobium alloys,resulting in a composite coating with excellent hot corrosion resistance and high-temperature oxidation *** modified multilayer coating is characterized by the synergistic combination of a dense NbSi2 inner layer and a HfC–HfO2 porous outer layer,resulting in a significant improvement in high-temperature performance compared with that of the single NbSi2 *** corrosion gain of the composite coating is only 13.94 mg·cm−2 after a corrosion time of 200 h at 900℃,and an intact oxide scale surface is observed after oxidation at 1500℃for 500 *** improvement is attributed to the formation of a robust Hf-rich skeleton provided by the deposited HfC–HfO2 layer,which can accelerate the formation of a highly stable corroded layer/oxide *** addition,multiple stress release mechanisms of the composite coating at high temperatures also provide substantial contributions to long-term *** these merits make HfC–HfO2-modified composite coatings on niobium alloys competitive for the development of high/superhigh-temperature thermal protection systems for long-term service.

Diagnostic value of contrast-enhanced intraoperative Doppler sonography for cerebral arteriovenous malformations compared with angiography

Background Intraoperative Doppler sonography has been used in the neurosurgical operating room for the localization and description of cerebral arteriovenous malformations （AVMs）. This study aimed to investigate the clinical value of contrast-enhanced intraoperative Doppler sonography, including its ability to assess the location and identify of feeding arteries in patients with AVMs and to compare this method with *** Twenty-three patients with cerebral AVMs who were diagnosed using angiography, were examined with contrast-enhanced intraoperative Doppler sonography. As an echo-enhancing agent, Sulphur Hexafluoride Microbubbles for Injection （＂SonoVue＂） was administered intravenously in all patients. Sonogram results were reviewed and correlated with angiographic findings. For statistical analysis, the Wilcoxon signed-rank test was *** Angiography identified 20 AVM lesions in the anterior or middle fossa and 3 in the posterior ***-enhanced intraoperative Doppler was somewhat less sensitive for only detecting 21/23 （91.3%） of the AVM lesions. Additionally, contrast-enhanced intraoperative Doppler slightly underestimated AVM size compared with angiographic findings but showed feeding arteries with sufficient acoustic properties. In 15 patients, angiography revealed a coincidental blood supply from another intracranial vessel, which was missed by contrast-enhanced intraoperative Doppler *** In a limited group of patients with AVMs, contrast-enhanced intraoperative Doppler sonography was a less sensitive but useful and simple method for the detection of AVMs in contrast to angiography. No specific untoward effects were attributed to the use of ＂SonoVue＂ as a contrast-enhancing substance.

The equilibrium melting point(T_(m)^(0))is a crucial thermodynamic parameter for characterizing the crystallization and melting behavior of semi-crystalline ***,the direct measurement of T_(m)^(0) poses a significant challenge because of the difficulty in physically fabricating fully-extended chain crystals of high-molecular-weight ***,various extrapolation equations for T_(m)^(0) have been proposed that utilize the thermal properties of ordinary folded-chain *** these,the Gibbs-Thomson equation is one of the most commonly employed for *** its widespread use,there are notable variations in the T_(m)^(0) values obtained by different research groups,even when based on similar *** raises questions about the validity and accuracy of using the Gibbs-Thomson equation to linearly extrapolate T_(m)^(0).In this study,we prepared a series of oligomer extended-chain crystals(ECCs)of poly(butylene succinate)(PBS)and used their properties for Gibbs-Thomson *** results reveal a perfect linear relationship,with an extrapolated T_(m)^(0) value of 136.08℃.The basal surface free energy of the oligomer ECCs was calculated as 0.084 J/m^(2),which is approximately twice that of folded-chain *** difference is attributed to the aggregation of highly mobile free tails on the crystal *** two structural features of oligomer ECCs—large thickness and fixed surface—better fulfill the conditions for applying the Gibbs-Thomson equation,ensuring its validity and ***,we believe that the Gibbs-Thomson fit can produce reliable results when sufficient high-quality data are used.

The Transient Electromagnetic(TEM)method is a critical geophysical technique for subsurface exploration of metal ore bodies,primarily utilizing either loop or grounded *** Long Offset Transient Electromagnetic(LOTEM)method employs a grounded-source transmitter,relying on a far-source observation mode and plane wave approximation for ***,LOTEM's far-source configuration weakens signal strength,and the plane wave approximation reduces precision,limiting effective detection depth to approximately 1000 m with a comprehensive error of about 15%.Recently,we have developed the grounded-source Short Offset Transient Electromagnetic(SOTEM)method,achieving greater detection depth and accuracy within the 500–2000 m depth range,a crucial interval for mineral resource *** study explores the theoretical framework,instrumentation,data processing,and field applications of *** on a point charge element model,SOTEM accurately computes surface wave effects in EM field calculations,optimized for near-source ***-power,high-resolution,wide-bandwidth exploration equipment and an advanced three-dimensional hybrid inversion technique were also developed to enhance the method's *** of SOTEM to the deep exploration of the zhou'an Ni-Cu-PGE deposit in Henan Province yielded high-resolution imaging of conductivity structures to about 2.5 km *** results,consistent with existing drill data,delineated mineralized ore bodies from surrounding formations,identified zones of mineralization potential,and suggested extensive resource prospects in the region.
