Route selection for opportunity-sensing and prediction of waterlogging

Accurate monitoring of urban waterlogging contributes to the city’s normal operation and the safety of residents’daily ***,due to feedback delays or high costs,existing methods make large-scale,fine-grained waterlogging monitoring impossible.A common method is to forecast the city’s global waterlogging status.using its partial waterlogging *** method has two challenges:first,existing predictive algorithms are either driven by knowledge or data alone;and second,the partial waterlogging data is not collected selectively,resulting in poor *** overcome the aforementioned challenges,this paper proposes a framework for large-scale and fine-grained spatiotemporal waterlogging monitoring based on the opportunistic sensing of limited bus *** framework follows the sparse Crowdsensing and mainly comprises a pair of iterative predictor and *** predictor uses the collected waterlogging status and the predicted status of the uncollected area to train the graph convolutional neural *** combines both knowledge-driven and data-driven approaches and can be used to forecast waterlogging status in all regions for the upcoming *** selector consists of a two-stage selection procedure that can select valuable bus routes while satisfying budget *** experimental results on real waterlogging and bus routes in shenzhen show that the proposed framework could easily perform urban waterlogging monitoring with low cost,high accuracy,wide coverage,and fine granularity.

Biodiversity,large trees,and environmental conditions such as climate and soil have important effects on forest carbon ***,recent s.udies in temperate forests suggest that the relative importance of these factors depends on tree mycorrhizal associations,whereby large-tree effects may be driven by ectomycorrhizal(EM)trees,diversity effects may be driven by arbus.ular mycorrhizal(AM)trees,and environment effects may depend on differential climate and soil preferences of AM and EM *** test this hypothesis,we used forest-inventory data consisting of over 80,000 trees from 631 temperate-forest plots(30 m×30 m)across Northeast China to examine how biodiversity(species diversity and ecological uniqueness),large trees(top 1%of tree diameters),and environmental factors(climate and soil nutrients)differently regulate aboveground carbon stocks of AM trees,EM trees,and AM and EM trees combined(*** aboveground carbon stock).We found that large trees had a positive effect on both AM and EM tree carbon ***,biodiversity and environmental factors had opposite effects on AM *** tree carbon ***,the two components of biodiversity had positive effects on AM tree carbon stocks,but negative effects on EM tree carbon *** heterogeneity(mean annual temperature and soil nutrients)also exhibited contrasting effects on AM and EM tree carbon ***,for the total carbon stock,the positive large-tree effect far surpasses the diversity and environment *** is mainly because when integrating AM and EM tree carbon stock into total carbon stock,the opposite diversity-effect(also environment-effect)on AM *** tree carbon stock counteracts each other while the consistent positive large-tree effect on AM and EM tree carbon stock is *** summary,this s.udy emphasized a mycorrhizal viewpoint to better understand the determinants of overarching aboveground carbon profile across regional forests.

The second-to-fourth digit(2D:4D)ratio is thought to be associated with prenatal androgen ***,the relationship between the 2D:4D ratio and hypospadias is poorly understood,and its molecular mechanism is not *** this s.udy,by analyzing the hand digit length of 142 boys with hypospadias(23 distal,68 middle,and 51 proximal)and 196 controls enrolled in shanghai Children’s Hospital(shanghai,China)from December 2020 to December 2021,we found that the 2D:4D ratio was significantly increased in boys with hypospadias(Ps positively correlated with the severity of the *** was further verified by the comparison of control mice and prenatal low testosterone mice model obtained by knocking out the risk gene(dynein axonemal heavy chain 8[DNAH8])associated with ***,the discrepancy was mainly caused by a shift in *** characterization of a mouse model validated that low testosterone levels during pregnancy can impair the growth and development of *** mechanistic explorations revealed that during the androgen-sensitive window,the downregulation of the androgen receptor(AR)caused by low testosterone levels,as well as the suppressed expression of chondrocyte proliferation-related genes such as Wnt family member 5a(Wnt5a),Wnt5b,smad family member 2(smad2),and smad3;mitochondrial function-related genes in cartilage such as AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)and nuclear respiratory factor 1(Nrf-1);and vas.ular development-related genes such as myosin light chain(MLC),notch receptor 3(Notch3),and sphingosine kinase 1(sphk1),are responsible for the limitation of 4D growth,which results in a higher 2D:4D ratio in boys with hypospadias via decreased endochondral *** s.udy indicates that the ratio of 2D:4D is a risk marker of hypospadias and provides a potential molecular mechanism.

The flying foxes optimization(FFO)algorithm,as a newly introduced metaheuristic algorithm,is inspired by the survival tactics of flying foxes in heat wave *** preferentially selects the best-performing *** tendency will cause the newly generated solution to remain closely tied to the candidate optimal in the search *** address this is.ue,the paper introduces an opposition-based learning-based search mechanism for FFO algorithm(IFFO).Firstly,this paper introduces niching techniques to improve the survival list method,which not only focuses on the adaptability of individuals but also considers the population’s crowding degree to enhance the global search ***,an initialization strategy of opposition-based learning is.used to perturb the initial population and elevate its ***,to verify the superiority of the improved search mechanism,IFFO,FFO and the cutting-edge metaheuristic algorithms are compared and analyzed using a set of test *** results prove that compared with other algorithms,IFFO is characterized by its rapid convergence,precise results and robust stability.

2LiBH4-MgH2composite is one of the most attractive reactive hydride composites with a theoretic hydrogen capacity of 10.8 wt%.However,the large nucleation restriction of MgB2during the second step of dehydrogenation results in s.uggish hydrogen storage kinetics and high operating temperature,which hinders its practical application as on-board hydrogen storage ***,Al3Ti doped Al nanoparticles （AT NPs） are prepared by a facile chemical reduction reaction to improve the hydrogen storage performance of *** the initial H2desorption process,MgAlB4and TiB2that have identical crystal structure and low d-value mismatch with MgB2resulting from the reaction between AT NPs and 2LiBH4-MgH2composite serve as effective nucleation sites for the formation of *** a result,the apparent activation energy of the two-step H2desorption of AT NPs doped 2LiBH4-MgH2composite are notably decreased to （110.0±5.9） and（119.6±1.4） kJ·mol-1,which is 55.5 and 33.5 kJ·mol-1lower than that of the undoped *** importantly,a reversible hydrogen storage capacity of 9.2 wt%after 10cycles of H2desorption and adsorption could be achieved,corresponding to a capacity retention rate of 99%.The building of reactive bimetallic catalyst towards in situ formation of heterogeneous nucleation sites provides a new strategy for improving the hydrogen storage performance of reactive hydride composites.
