Thermal comfort is critical for ensuring the health and productivity of occupants and knowing their thermal demand could help creat a satisfying environment with the least energy *** of thermal comfort is built based on experimental studies in uniform and stable environments,while there is still a gap when applying in evaluating human thermal comfort in non-uniform thermal ***,an insight into human thermal comfort in non-uniform thermal environments is *** fundamental studies of thermal comfort in non-uniform thermal environments are explicated,including thermal comfort theory applied in non-uniform thermal environments,types of non-uniform thermal environments and corresponding studies,physiological and psychological thermal responses in the ***,the evaluation indices of non-uniform thermal environments are classified according to their definitions and the comfort models are ***,future works in this research field are *** general,the overall thermal comfort and local thermal comfort should be both taken into account in non-uniform thermal environments where skin temperatures and psychological thermal responses of occupants are different among local body ***,as studies of local thermal comfort are mainly conducted in thermally neutral condition,the limits considering the state deviating thermal neutrality(slightly warm or cool),which is frequently found in reality,are encouraged to be ***,a well-defined comprehensive index should be proposed considering heat exchange of human body with their microenvironments and thus the comfort range of the index could be provided for designing of non-uniform thermal environments.

Due to the shortage of lithium resource reserves and the pressure of rising prices,sodium-ion batteries have regained the attention of the public,and shown great potential for application in the fields of grid energy storage and low-speed vehicles to achieve the purpose of complementing lithium-ion batteries,so it is imperative to promote the commercial application of sodiumion *** sodium-ion battery anode materials,hard carbon is the material most likely to be used ***,there is still much work to be done before its *** review provides a comprehensive overview of the current research status from the following three ***,the microstructure and sodium storage active sites of hard carbon are ***,the mechanism of sodium storage in hard carbon is investigated,which can be broadly categorized into four model,“insertion–filling”,“adsorption–insertion”,“adsorption–filling”,and“multistage”.Finally,from the perspective of improving the electrochemical performance of hard carbon,the performance improvement strategies proposed in recent years are *** with the performance of hard carbon commercial products of some enterprises,the future development goal of hard carbon is prospected,hoping that all sectors of society can work hard for this common goal.

Effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing on improving clinical outcomes in postoperative patients with colorectal cancer

BACKGROUND Surgical resection is the cornerstone treatment for colorectal *** rehabilitation care predicated on evidence-based medical theory aims to improve postoperative nursing care,subsequently reducing the physical and mental traumatic stress response and helping patients who undergo surgery recover *** To assess the effect of rapid rehabilitation care on clinical outcomes,including overall postoperative complications,anastomotic leaks,wound infections,and intestinal obstruction in patients with colorectal *** We searched the PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,Elsevier Science Direct,and Springer Link databases from January 1,2010,to January 1,2024,to screen eligible studies on rapid rehabilitation care among patients who underwent colorectal cancer *** were screened based on the inclusion and exclusion *** 5.4 software was used for statistical analysis of the *** Twelve studies were enrolled,which included 2420 *** results showed that rapid rehabilitation care decreased the incidence of overall postoperative complications(OR:0.44,95%CI:0.26–0.74,P=0.002),anastomotic leaks(OR:0.68,95%CI:0.41–1.12,P=0.13),wound infections(OR:0.45,95%CI:0.29–0.72,P=0.0007),and intestinal obstruction(OR:0.54,95%CI:0.34–0.86,P=0.01)compared to conventional *** trials and studies are needed to confirm these *** Rapid rehabilitation care decreased the occurrence of postoperative complications,anastomotic leaks,wound infections,and intestinal obstruction compared to conventional care in patients who underwent colorectal ***,promoting the application of rapid rehabilitation care in clinical practice cannot be overemphasized.

Design and Cryogenic Performance of a Hexapod Platform for a Large Ground-based Wide Field Survey Telescope

The thermal gradient is an important factor that causes degradation to the image quality of telescopes. In order to ensure the accurate alignment of the primary focus unit and the primary mirror, the hexapod platform(as a corrector) is investigated in this paper. First, a ground-based telescope with 2.5 m aperture and 3.5 deg field of view is described. The telescope is under construction, and it is expected to be finished in 2023. Second, the hexapod platform with flexure hinges utilized to adjust the primary focus unit is proposed, which is applied as a ***, the inverse kinematics of the platform is established and an open-loop control system is built based on ***, the cryogenic performance test for the hexapod platform is performed. The experimental results show that the resolution and repeatability of the translation for the hexapod platform can be achieved at the micrometer *** resolution and repeatability of the rotation can be achieved at the arc-second level. Therefore, the cryogenic performance of the hexapod platform can meet the optical imaging requirements of the wide-field ground-based telescope. The kinematic analysis and cryogenic performance tests in the paper provide a technical reference for the precise alignment of the primary focus unit and the primary mirror, which can improve the imaging quality of the telescope.

The selective electrochemical conversion of glycerol into value-added products is a green and sustainable strategy for the biomass *** this work,Au nanowires(Au-NW)modified with polyethyleneimine(PEI)molecule(Au-NW@PEI)is obtained by an up-bottom post-modification *** characterization,molecular dynamics simulation and density functional theory demonstrate that the loose-packed PEI monolayer firmly and uniformly distribute on the Au-NW surface due to the strong Au-N *** experiments and product analysis display that PEI modification significantly enhance the electro-activity of Au-NW for the glycerol electro-oxidation reaction(GEOR)due to the electronic ***,the steric hindrance and electrostatic effect of PEI layer make the optimizing adsorption of intermediates ***,the selectivity of C3 product glyceric acid over Au-NW@PEI is increased by nearly 20%.The work thus indicates that the rational design of metal-organic interface can effectively elevate the electro-activity and selectivity of Au nanostructures,which may have wide application in biomass development.

Optimized parameters of downhole all-metal PDM based on genetic algorithm

Currently, deep drilling operates under extreme conditions of high temperature and high pressure,demanding more from subterranean power motors. The all-metal positive displacement motor, known for its robust performance, is a critical choice for such drilling. The dimensions of the PDM are crucial for its performance output. To enhance this, optimization of the motor's profile using a genetic algorithm has been undertaken. The design process begins with the computation of the initial stator and rotor curves based on the equations for a screw cycloid. These curves are then refined using the least squares method for a precise fit. Following this, the PDM's mathematical model is optimized, and motor friction is assessed. The genetic algorithm process involves encoding variations and managing crossovers to optimize objective functions, including the isometric radius coefficient, eccentricity distance parameter,overflow area, and maximum slip speed. This optimization yields the ideal profile parameters that enhance the motor's output. Comparative analyses of the initial and optimized output characteristics were conducted, focusing on the effects of the isometric radius coefficient and overflow area on the motor's performance. Results indicate that the optimized motor's overflow area increased by 6.9%, while its rotational speed reduced by 6.58%. The torque, as tested by Infocus, saw substantial improvements of38.8%. This optimization provides a theoretical foundation for improving the output characteristics of allmetal PDMs and supports the ongoing development and research of PDM technology.

Objective Little is known about the association between whole-blood nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD^(+))levels and nabothian *** study aimed to assess the association between NAD^(+)levels and nabothian cysts in healthy Chinese *** Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to analyze the association between NAD^(+)levels and nabothian *** The mean age was 43.0±11.5 years,and the mean level of NAD^(+)was 31.3±5.3μmol/*** cysts occurred in 184(27.7%)participants,with single and multiple cysts in 100(15.0%)and84(12.6%)participants,*** total nabothian cyst prevalence gradually decreased from37.4%to 21.6%from Q1 to Q4 of NAD^(+)and the prevalence of single and multiple nabothian cysts also decreased across the NAD^(+)*** compared with the highest NAD^(+)quartile(≥34.4μmol/L),the adjusted odds ratios with 95%confidence interval of the NAD^(+)Q1 was 1.89(1.14–3.14)for total nabothian *** risk of total and single nabothian cysts linearly decreased with increasing NAD^(+)levels,while the risk of multiple nabothian cysts decreased more rapidly at NAD^(+)levels of 28.0 to35.0μmol/***:Low NAD^(+)levels were associated with an increased risk of total and multiple nabothian cysts.

Wellbore-heat-transfer-model-based optimization and control for cooling downhole drilling fluid

To address the two critical issues of evaluating the necessity of implementing cooling techniques and achieving real-time temperature control of drilling fluids underground in the current drilling fluid cooling technology,we first established a temperature and pressure coupled downhole heat transfer model,which can be used in both water-based and oil-based drilling ***,fourteen factors,which could affect wellbore temperature,were *** on the standard deviation of the downhole temperature corresponding to each influencing factor,the influence of each factor was *** influencing factors that can be used to guide the drilling fluid's cooling technology were drilling fluid thermal conductivity,drilling fluid heat capacity,drilling fluid density,drill strings rotation speed,pump rate,viscosity,ROP,and injection *** nondominated sorting genetic algorithm was used to optimize these six parameters,but the optimization process took 182 *** these eight parameters'influence rules with the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm can reduce the optimization time to 108 ***,the downhole temperature has been demonstrated to increase with the inlet temperature increasing linearly under quasi-steady *** this law and PID,the downhole temperature can be controlled,which can reduce the energy for cooling the surface drilling fluid and can ensure the downhole temperature reaches the set value as soon as possible.

Effect of Mn addition on microstructure and mechanical properties of GX40CrNiSi25-12 austenitic heat resistant steel

Three types of steels were designed on the basis of GX40CrNiSi25-12 austenitic heat resistant steel by adding different Mn contents(2wt.%,6wt.%,and 12wt.%).Thermodynamic calculation,microstructure characterization and mechanical property tests were conducted to investigate the effect of Mn addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the austenitic heat resistant *** show that the matrix structure in all the three types of steels at room temperature is completely *** NbC and M_(23)C_(6)precipitate at grain boundaries of austenite *** the increase of Mn content,the number of carbides increases and their distribution becomes more *** the Mn content increases from 1.99%to 12.06%,the ultimate tensile strength,yield strength and elongation increase by 14.6%,8.0%and 46.3%,*** improvement of the mechanical properties of austenitic steels can be explained by utilizing classic theories of alloy strengthening,including solid solution strengthening,precipitation strengthening,and grain *** increase in alloy strength can be attributed to solid solution strengthening and precipitation strengthening caused by the addition of *** improvement of the plasticity of austenitic steels can be explained from two aspects:grain refinement and homogenization of precipitated phases.
