BACKGROUND:Individuals who survive a cardiac arrest often sustain cognitive impairments due to ischemia-reperfusion *** stem cell(MSC)transplantation is used to reduce tissue damage,but exosomes are more stable and highly conserved than *** study was conducted to investigate the therapeutic effects of MSC-derived exosomes(MSC-Exo)on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in an in vitro model of oxygen-glucose deprivation/reperfusion(OGD/R),and to explore the underlying ***:Primary hippocampal neurons obtained from 18-day Sprague-Dawley rat embryos were subjected to OGD/R treatment,with or without MSC-Exo *** integration,cell viability,mitochondrial membrane potential,and generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS)were *** deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated 2’-deoxyuridine 5’-triphosphate nickend labeling(TUNEL)staining was performed to detect neuronal ***,mitochondrial function-associated gene expression,Nrf2 translocation,and expression of downstream antioxidant proteins were ***:MSC-Exo attenuated OGD/R-induced neuronal apoptosis and decreased ROS generation(P<0.05).The exosomes reduced OGD/R-induced Nrf2 translocation into the nucleus(2.14±0.65 vs.5.48±1.09,P<0.01)and increased the intracellular expression of antioxidative proteins,including superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase(17.18±0.97 vs.14.40±0.62,and 20.65±2.23 vs.16.44±2.05,respectively;P<0.05 for both).OGD/R significantly impaired the mitochondrial membrane potential and modulated the expression of mitochondrial functionassociated genes,such as PINK,DJ1,LRRK2,Mfn-1,Mfn-2,and *** abovementioned changes were partially reversed by exosomal treatment of the hippocampal ***:MSC-Exo treatment can alleviate OGD/R-induced oxidative stress and dysregulation of mitochondrial function-associated genes in hippocampal ***,MSCExo might be a potential therapeutic strategy to preven

With lanthanum(La) in agriculture, medicine, and the chemical industry, La shows accumulation in the body, especially in the bone, because of its similar structure to calcium. Moreover, La has a direct role in bone formation regulating osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Nevertheless, bone formation is complex under the regulation of osteogenesis, osteoclastogenesis, and angiogenesis in the bone microenvironment. It is difficult to comprehensively understand the regulation of bone homeostasis from a single kind of ***, some bone microenvironment-related cells and mouse calvaria culture models were used to study the regulatory effect of La-based compound-lanthanum nitrate(La(NO_(3))_(3)) on bone ***(NO_(3))_(3) has good biological safety, and the osteogenic differentiation is significantly increased under La(NO_(3))_(3) treatment for bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMMSC). In contrast, the differentiation,maturation, and bone erosion ability of osteoclasts are significantly decreased. Meanwhile, the angiogenesis ability of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC) is significantly promoted when treated with La(NO_(3))_(3). Furthermore, bone metabolism and angiogenesis are improved under La(NO_(3))_(3) treatment in the calvaria ex vivo culture model and BMMSC-HUVEC co-culture system. These results suggest that La has the beneficial effect of promoting bone metabolism and improving bone formation in the bone microenvironment.

Tungsten disulfide(WS_(2))has been reported to show negligible stacking dependence under ambient conditions,impeding its further explorations on physical properties and potential ***,we realize efficient modulation of interlayer coupling in bilayer WS_(2)with 3R and 2H stackings by high pressure,and find that the pressure-triggered interlayer coupling and pressure-induced resonant-to-nonresonant transition exhibit prominent stacking dependence,which are experimentally observed for the first time in *** work may unleash the stacking degree of freedom in designing WS_(2)devices with tailored properties correlated to interlayer coupling.

nc-Ti C/a-C：H nanocomposite films were prepared by filtered cathodic arc technique. The influence of C_2H_2/Ar flow ratio on the composition, structure, and mechanical properties of films was investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR）,Raman spectroscopy, nanoindentation, and ball-on-disc tribometry. The films show a nanocomposite structure in which Ti C crystallites are embedded in the amorphous matrix of a-C：H phase. C content in films increases with the flow ratio of C_2H_2/Ar, simultaneously, the crystallite size of TiC decreases. Contrary to the nc-Ti C/a-C：H films deposited by magnetron sputtering in which the sp3 C content increases with C_2H_2 flow rate, the increase of C_2H_2 flow rate leads to the increase of sp2 C content in films deposited by filtered cathodic arc technique. The nc-Ti C/a-C：H films deposited by cathodic arc technique have a pronounced hardness maximum of 30 GPa under the C_2H_2/Ar flow ratio of 12. Tribological performance of films is controlled by the sp2 content in films. Higher sp2 content promotes the formation of graphite-like transfer layer during sliding,and results in lower wear rate and friction coefficient.

This paper is dedicated to addressing the time-varying output formation-containment tracking(TVOFCT) problem for heterogeneous linear multiagent systems(MASs) with multiple types of disturbances under directed communication *** agents are divided into tracking leaders,formation leaders,and *** the output space,the formation leaders are required to form an expected geometric formation while tracking the tracking leader,and the followers are required to enter the convex hull spanned by formation ***,a disturbance observer is designed to observe the disturbance with deterministic ***,by combining adaptive technology with event-triggered technology,an independent fully distributed dynamic event-triggered(FDDET) compensator is designed to estimate the state of the tracking *** main advantages of this compensator lie in the following three aspects:(1) the adaptive weight does not increase unboundedly;(2) the interval time between events is expanded;(3) the design does not rely on any global *** to the design of this compensator,an independent FDDET convex hull observer is further designed to observe the convex hull spanned by formation ***,based on the designed disturbance observer,compensator,and convex hull observer,the adaptive disturbance rejection control input which can make the MASs achieve TVOFCT is ***,a numerical simulation is provided to clearly verify the validity of the theoretical results.

Low desulfurization efficiency impedes the wide application of dry desulfurization technology,which is a low-cost and simple process,and one significant solution is the development and manufacture of high-performance *** this study,firstly,a steam jet mill was used to digest quicklime;then,we utilized numerical simulation to study the flow field distribution and analyze the driving factors of quicklime digestion;and lastly,the desulfurization performance of the desulfurizer was evaluated under different relative *** results show that the desulfurizer prepared via the steam jet mill had better apparent activity than traditional ***,the entire jet flow field of the steam jet mill is in a supersonic and highly turbulent flow state,with high crushing intensity and good particle acceleration *** contact with the nascent surface maximizes the formation of slaked *** experiments demonstrated that the operating time with 100%desulfurization efficiency and the“break-through”time for the desulfurizer prepared via the steam jet mill is longer than that of traditional desulfurizers,and has significant advantages,especially at low flue gas relative *** with traditional desulfurizers,the desulfurizer prepared via steam jet mill expands the range of acceptable flue gas temperature,and the failure temperature is 1.625 times that of traditional *** work breaks through the technical bottleneck of low dry desulfurization efficiency,which is an important step in pushing forward the application of dry desulfurization.

We investigate a continuous Heisenberg spin chain equation which models the local magnetization in ferromagnet with time-and site-dependent inhomogeneous bilinear interaction and timedependent spin-transfer *** establishing the gauge equivalence between the spin chain equation and an integrable generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation,we present explicitly a novel nonautonomous magnetic soliton solution for the spin chain *** results display how the dynamics of the magnetic soliton can be controlled by the bilinear interaction and spin-polarized ***,we find that the site-dependent bilinear interaction may break some conserved quantity,and give rise to damping-like effect in the spin evolution.

To numerically study the impact of total temperature distortion on a transonic compressor with reduced computational costs,a Body-Force Model(BFM)is ***,the interactions between the distorted flow and the compressor are analyzed using full-annulus Unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS)results and the orbit *** is found that the induced swirl distortion and the mass flux nonuniformity are intensified in the compressor upstream flow field.A correction factor is thus added to the BFM to account for the effect of the induced swirl,which is crucial for the accurate representation of distortion transfer in the ***,steady simulations with large-amplitude 180circumferential total temperature distortion are performed using the developed *** is shown that the distorted compressor map simulated with the BFM matches well with URANS *** circumferential phase shift of total temperature and the generation of the additional total pressure distortion across the rotor are in line with the time-averaged URANS flow *** compressor upstream effects on the distorted inflow can also be exactly *** above-mentioned results demonstrate the BFM developed in this paper can effectively capture the distorted flow features inside the compressor,and significantly reduce the computational costs by five orders of magnitude compared with URANS.
