We present a theory of both the itinerant carrier-mediated RKKY interaction and the virtual excitations-mediated Bloembergen–Rowland(BR)interaction between magnetic moments in graphene induced by proximity effect with a ferromagnetic *** is shown that the RKKY/BR interaction consists of the Heisenberg,Ising,and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya(DM)*** the case of the nearest distance,we estimate the DM term from the RKKY/BR interaction is about$0.13$meV for the graphene/Co interface,which is consistent with the experimental result of DM interaction$0.16\pm0.05$*** calculations indicate that the intralayer RKKY/BR interaction may be a possible physical origin of the DM interaction in the graphene-ferromagnet *** work provides a new perspective to comprehend the DM interaction in graphene/ferromagnet systems.

Orchids make up one of the largest families of flowering plants(Orchidaceae) with a variety of ecological habitats and broad economic impact for their ornamental and medicinal values in the *** hybridization followed by the selection of attractive traits in progenies is a classical but dominant method for breeding new and improved orchid varieties. This method is typically time-consuming as most orchid genera possess a long vegetative phase that could last from one year to many years(yu and Goh, 2001). Thus, the protracted breeding period so far remains a bottleneck for the rapid production of new orchid varieties to satisfy consumer appetites for desirable traits.

The direct emission of circularly polarized(CP)light improves the efficiency of an organic light-emitting diode and characterizes the secondary structure of *** most cases,CP light is generated from a luminescent layer containing chiral characteristics,thereby generating only one kind of CP light in an entire ***,we propose direct CP light emissions using a twisted achiral conjugate polymer without any chiral dopant as an emitting layer(EML).The twisted structure is induced in the mesogenic conjugate polymer due to its elasticity by applying different alignment directions to its upper and lower ***,we demonstrate the simultaneous emission of orthogonal CP light in a single luminescent device by patterning different alignment directions on the surfaces of the *** light source with multipolarization including the orthogonal CP states is applicable to many applications in biosensors and optical devices.

A kicker is a critical component for beam injection and accumulation in circular particle accelerators. A ceramic slat kicker plated with a TiN conductive coating was applied in the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPCII). However, the ceramic slat kicker has experienced several sudden malfunctions during the operation of the BEPCII in the past. With a reliable kicker structure, a three-metal-strip kicker can substitute the original ceramic slat kicker to maintain the operational stability of the BEPCII. A comparison of the numerical simulation was conducted for three kicker models, demonstrating the comprehensive advantage of the three-metal-strip kicker. Furthermore, impedance bench measurements were conducted on a prototype of a three-metal-strip kicker. The longitudinal beam-coupling impedance was measured using a vector network analyzer via the coaxial wire method. A satisfactory agreement was obtained between the numerical simulations and measurements. Based on the numerical simulation data, the loss factor was 0.01721 V/pC, and the effective impedance was 3.59 mΩ(σ=10 mm).The simulation of the heat deposition on each part of the kicker demonstrated that 84.4%of the parasitic loss of the beam was deposited on the metal strips, and the total heat deposition power on the kicker was between 113.3 and 131.5 W. The obtained heat deposition powers can be considered as a reference for establishing the cooling system.

Conventional dental materials lack of the hierarchical architecture of enamel that exhibits excellent intrinsic-extrinsic mechanical ***,restorative failures frequently occur due to physical and chemical mismatch between artificial materials and native dental hard tissue followed by recurrent caries which is caused by sugar-fermenting,acidogenic bacteria invasion of the defective *** order to resolve the limitations of the conventional dental materials,the aim of this study was to establish a non-cell-based biomimetic strategy to fabricate a novel bioactive material with enamel-like structure and antibacterial adhesion *** evaporation-based,bottom-up and self-assembly method with layer-by-layer technique were used to form a large-area fluorapatite crystal layer containing antibacterial *** multilayered structure was constructed by hydrothermal growth of the fluorapatite crystal layer and highly conformal adsorption to the crystal surface of a polyelectrolyte matrix *** and mechanical assessment demonstrated that the synthesized bioactive material resembled the native enamel in chemical components,mechanical properties and crystallographic *** and cytocompatibility evaluation demonstrated that this material had the antibacterial adhesion property and *** combination with the molecular dynamics simulations to reveal the effects of variables on the crystallization mechanism,this study brings new prospects for the synthesis of enamel-inspired materials.

Previous studies have shown that nicorandil has a protective effect on ***,there is no study to investigate whether perioperative intravenous nicorandil can further reduce the myocardial infarct size in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)compared to the current standard of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)*** CHANGE(China-Administration of Nicorandil Group)study is a multicenter,prospective,randomized,double-blind and parallel-controlled clinical study of STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI in China,aiming to evaluate the efficacy and safety of intravenous nicorandil in ameliorating the myocardial infarct size in STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI and provide evidence-based support for myocardial protection strategies of STEMI patients.

A paleomagnetic study was carried out on the Yangzhuang Formation (~1350 Ma) of the Jixian System in the North China Block (NCB). Detailed stepwise thermal demagnetization isolated two components. The soft compo- nent (component A) was interpreted as a remagnetization in the recent geomagnetic field. The hard component (compo- nent B) with higher unblocking-temperatures was carried by hematite. Its site-mean direction is D/I = 77.6°/-24.3° (κ = 5.4, α95 = 18.3°, N = 15 sites) before, and D/I = 72.2°/11.5° (κ = 24.6, α95 = 7.9°) after tilt correction. It passes a fold test (Mesozoic folding) at 99% confidence level and reversal test at 95% confidence level. The corresponding pole locates at 17.3°N, 214.5°E (dp = 4.1°, dm = 8.0°). A best fit of paleo- magnetic poles from the NCB, Baltica, Siberia and the ap- parent polar wander path for Laurentia suggests a long-lived connection between these paleo-continents between ~1800 and 1350 Ma.
