Influence of Pass Parameters on Retained Mandrel Rolling Process

Roller pass is one of the key factors affecting the product quality in the retained mandrel rolling process. The metal flow condition of rolling deformation area was researched using the FEA （finite element analysis） software Marc. The influences of the pass bottom radius, the sidewall radius, the sidewall angle, the roller shoulder fillet radius, as well as the roller gap on the rolling process under the conditions of different friction were discussed. Based on these results, the changes of the workpiece exit width, the mandrel axial force, the rolling force, and the rolling torque associated with various parameters were determined, which would provide the basis for designing the pass and determining the rolling condition reasonably.

We cloned and characterized a rice gene OsBIABPI encoding an AMP-binding protein. The full-length cDNA of OsBIABP1 is 1912-bp long and is predicted to encode a 558-aa protein. OsBIABP1 contains a typical AMP-binding signature motif and shows high similarity to members of AMP-binding protein family. OsBIABP1 is expressed in stems, leaves and flowers of rice plants, but is not expressed, or expressed at a very low level, in rice roots. The expression of OsBIABP1 was induced by some defense-related signal molecules, e.g., salicylic acid （SA）, benzothiadiazole, jasmonic acid （JA）, and 1-amino cyclopropane- 1-carboxylic acid, which mediate SA- and JA/ethylene （ET）-dependent defense signaling pathways, respectively. Furthermore, the expression of OsBIABP1 is activated by the infection ofMagnaporthe oryzae, and the induced expression is quicker and stronger during early stages ofpathogenesis in incompatible interaction than that in compatible interaction between rice and M. oryzae. Our results suggest that OsBIABP1 may be a defense-related AMP-binding protein that is involved in the regulation of defense response through SA and/or JA/ET signaling pathways.

Dinuclear metal synergistic catalysis(DMSC)has been proved powerful in boosting CO_(2)reduction,while this has not been achieved in heterogeneous catalysts with long-range order *** this study,we,by introduction of metal catalytic centers into an indium-based metal-organic framework(MOF),obtained a series of isostructural In-MOFs,including three MOFs with mononuclear metal catalytic center(M-In),three MOFs with dinuclear homometallic catalytic centers(MM-In),and three MOFs with dinuclear heterometallic catalytic centers(MM’-In,M/M’=Co(II),Ni(II),Zn(II)).It was found that all these MOFs can serve as catalysts for photochemical CO_(2)reduction to *** with M-In,the catalytic activities of MM-In were obviously enhanced,and that of MM’-In was further significantly *** example,the CO yield of Co Zn-In reaches a record value of 12,700μmol g^(-1)h^(-1),which is 4.0,8.1,9.4,and 18.6-fold higher than that of Co Co-In,Zn Zn-In,Co-In,and Zn-In,***,the catalytic activities of Co Ni-In and Ni Zn-In also show different fold increase than those of corresponding dinuclear homometallic and mononuclear metallic *** results of control experiments and theoretical calculation reveal that the higher catalytic activities of MM-In over M-In can be ascribed to the DMSC effect,and the higher catalytic activity of MM’-In over MM-In can be ascribed to the strengthened DMSC *** work reveals the relationship between DMSC effect and bimetal centers in CO_(2)reduction,which provides new insights into the DMSC and paves a new way to design highly active catalysts for photochemical CO_(2)reduction.

AIM:To compare and evaluate the appropriate prog-nostic indicators of lymph node basic staging in gastric cancer patients who underwent radical ***:A total of 1042 gastric cancer patients who underwent radical resection and D2 lymphadenectomy were staged using the 6th and 7th edition International Union Against Cancer(UICC)N staging methods and the metastatic lymph node ratio(MLNR)***-mogeneity,discriminatory ability,and gradient mono-tonicity of the various staging methods were compared using linear trend χ2,likelihood ratio χ2 statistics,and Akaike information criterion(AIC)*** area under the curve(AUC)was calculated to compare the predictive ability of the aforementioned three stag-ing ***:Optimal cut-points of the MLNR were cal-culated as MLNR0(0),MLNR1(0.01-0.30),MLNR2(0.31-0.50),and MLNR3(0.51-1.00).In univariate,multivariate,and stratified analyses,MLNR staging was superior to the 6th and 7th edition UICC N stag-ing *** staging had a higher AUC,higher linear trend and likelihood ratio χ2 scores and lower AIC values than the other two staging ***:MLNR staging predicts survival after gastric cancer more precisely than the 6th and 7th edi-tion UICC N classif ications and should be considered as an alternative to current pathological N staging.

Let V be a vertex operator superalgebra and g=(12···k)be a k-cycle which is viewed as an automorphism of the tensor product vertex operator superalgebra V^(■k).In this paper,we construct an explicit isomorphism from A_(g)(V^(■k))to A(V)if k is odd and to Aσ(V)if k is even whereσis the canonical automorphism of V of order 2 determined by the superspace structure of *** recover previous results by Barron(2016)and Barron and Vander Werf(2014)that there is a one-to-one correspondence between irreducible g-twisted V^(■k)-modules and irreducible V-modules(***σ-twisted V-modules)when k is odd(***).This explicit isomorphism is expected to be useful in our further study on the Zhu algebra of the fixed point subalgebra.

In the process of image understanding, the human visual system (HVS) performs multiscale analysis on various objects. HVS primarily focuses on marginally conspicuous image patches located within or around distinct objects rather than scanning the image pixels point by point. Inspired by the HVS mechanism, in this paper, we aimed to describe and exploit multiscale decomposition-based patch detection models for automatic visual feature representation and object localization in images. Our investigation into mimicking and modeling the HVS to capture conspicuous sparse patches and their spatial distribution clues makes a profound contribution to the automatic comprehension and characterization of images by machines. This study demonstrates that the sparse patch-based visual representation with spatial center cues is intrinsically tolerant to object positioning and understanding beyond object variations in spatial position, multiresolution, and chrominance, which has significant implications for many vision-based automatic object grabbing and perception applications, such as robotics, human -machine interaction, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Developing a cost-effective and environmentally friendly process for the production of valuable chemicals from abundant herbal biomass receives great attentions in recent ***,taking advantage of the“lignin first”strategy,corn straw is converted to valuable chemicals including lignin monomers,furfural and 5-methoxymethylfurfural via a two steps *** key of this research lies in the development of a green and low-cost catalytic process utilizing magnetic Raney Ni catalyst and high boiling point ethylene *** utilization of neat ethylene glycol as the sole slovent under atmospheric conditions obviates the need for additional additives,thereby facilitating the entire process to be conducted in glass flasks and rendering it highly convenient for scaling *** the initial step,depolymerization of corn straw lignin resulted in a monomer yield of 18.1 wt%.Subsequently,in a dimethyl carbonate system,the carbohydrate component underwent complete conversion in a one-pot process,yielding furfural and 5-methoxymethylfurfural as the primary products with an impressive yield of 47.7%.

In spinless systems,growing attention has recently been attracted to synthetic gauge fields,which redefine the fundamental crystal symmetries by utilizing the projective algebraic ***,synthetic gauge fields have been commonly investigated in single orbital systems,and explorations on hybrid orbitals remain elusive in ***,we report the experimental observation of hybrid topological phases induced by hybrid synthetic gauge flux,which is formed by the interaction between p and d orbitals embedded in acoustic *** breaking the translation symmetries of L_(x) and/or L_(y),we unambiguously demonstrate the first-order Möbius edge states and higher-order corner *** work establishes a platform for seeking exotic topological phases induced by hybrid-orbitals interactions and initializing the framework of hybrid-orbitalsrelated topological *** applications can be anticipated in scenarios such as high-quality sensing and robust wave trapping due to the stepwise energy distribution of the hybrid topological phase.
