Research on the solar magnetic field and its effects on solar dynamo mechanisms and space weather events has benefited from the continual improvements in instrument resolution and measurement *** augmentation and assimilation of historical observational data timelines also play a significant role in understanding the patterns of solar magnetic field *** the realm of astronomical data processing,super-resolution(SR)reconstruction refers to the process of using a substantial corpus of training data to learn the nonlinear mapping between low-resolution(LR)and high-resolution(HR)images,thereby achieving higherresolution astronomical *** paper is an application study in high-dimensional nonlinear *** learning models were employed to perform SR modeling on SOHO/MDI magnetograms and SDO/HMI magnetograms,thus reliably achieving resolution enhancement of full-disk SOHO/MDI magnetograms and enhancing the image resolution to obtain more detailed *** this study,a data set comprising 9717pairs of data from 2010 April to 2011 February was used as the training set,1332 pairs from 2011 march were used as the validation set and 1034 pairs from 2011 April were used as the test *** data preprocessing,we randomly cropped 128×128 sub-images as the LR cases from the full-disk MDI magnetograms,and the corresponding 512×512 sub-images as HR ones from the HMI full-disk magnetograms for model *** tests conducted have shown that the study successfully produced reliable 4×SR reconstruction of full-disk MDI *** MESR model's results(0.911)were highly correlated with the target HMI magnetographs as indicated by the correlation coefficient ***,the method achieved the best PSNR,SSIM,maE and RMSE values,indicating that the MESR model can effectively reconstruct magnetograms.

Photoinduced superlubricity on TiO_(2) surfaces

Superlubricity control is of great interest in both industry and scientific research,and several methods have been proposed to achieve this *** this work,ultraviolet(UV)light was introduced into titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))and silicon nitride(Si_(3)N_(4))tribosystems to accomplish photoinduced *** friction coefficients(COFs)between Si_(3)N_(4) balls and TiO_(2) plates in the mixtures of sulfuric acid(H^(2)SO_(4))solution and glycerol solution were obviously reduced,and the system entered the superlubricity region(COFmation of silica(SiO_(2))layers on the surfaces of Si_(3)N_(4) balls and the elastohydrodynamic effects were determined to be fundamental to the low friction in this experiment,and the enhancement of the combination between the TiO_(2) surface and the hydroxy group of glycerol by UV illumination was the key to the photoinduced superlubricity in this *** findings showed one method for achieving superlubricity by introducing a light field that could be further applied to special working conditions.

Photo-induced grease/oil switched lubricant for friction regulation

Controllable friction regulation has drawn much interest in both scientific and industrial *** there have been many researches on friction regulation by many physical fields and chemical ***-sensitive materials are promising because it is relatively easy to change their properties compared with ***,a new kind of photo-induced grease/oil switched lubricant is designed and shows great reversibility under ultraviolet(UV)and visible(Vis)*** viscosity can change more than 50 times under different irradiation,and the coefficients of friction(COFs)obviously increase under Vis irradiation and decrease under UV irradiation,which performs better than those of the common *** to the experimental results,the phenomena are contributed to the break and reconstruction of the three-dimensional network inside the *** a switchable grease/oil state under different irradiation,this work provides a new principle for designing a smart lubricant with controllable friction regulation.

Quantifying Contribution of Recycled Moisture to Precipitation in Temperate Glacier Region,Southeastern Tibetan Plateau,China

Recycled moisture is an important indicator of the renewal capacity of regional water *** to the existence of yulong Snow Mountain,Lijiang in yunnan Province,southeast of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,China,is the closest ocean glacier area to the equator in *** precipitation samples were collected from 2017 to 2018 in Lijiang to quantify the effect of sub-cloud evaporation and recycled moisture on precipitation combined with the d-excess model during monsoon and non-monsoon *** results indicated that the d-excess values of precipitation fluctuated between–35.6‰and 16.0‰,with an arithmetic mean of 3.5‰.The local meteoric water line(LMWL)wasδD=7.91δ^(18)O+2.50,with a slope slightly lower than the global meteoric water line(GMWL).Subcloud evaporation was higher during the non-monsoon season than during the monsoon *** tended to peak in march and was primarily influenced by the relative *** source of the water vapour affected the proportion of recycled *** to the results of the Hybrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory(HYSPLIT)model,the main sources of water vapour in Lijiang area during the monsoon period were the southwest and southeast *** the non-monsoon period,water vapour was transported by a southwesterly *** recycled moisture in Lijiang area between march and October 2017 was 10.62%.Large variations were observed between the monsoon and non-monsoon seasons,with values of 5.48%and 25.65%,*** differences were primarily attributed to variations in the advection of water *** recycled moisture has played a supplementary role in the precipitation of Lijiang area.

IndRT-GCNets: Knowledge Reasoning with Independent Recurrent Temporal Graph Convolutional Representations

Due to the structural dependencies among concurrent events in the knowledge graph and the substantial amount of sequential correlation information carried by temporally adjacent events,we propose an Independent Recurrent Temporal Graph Convolution Networks(IndRT-GCNets)framework to efficiently and accurately capture event attribute *** framework models the knowledge graph sequences to learn the evolutionary represen-tations of entities and relations within each ***,by utilizing the temporal graph convolution module in the evolutionary representation unit,the framework captures the structural dependency relationships within the knowledge graph in each ***,to achieve better event representation and establish effective correlations,an independent recurrent neural network is employed to implement auto-regressive ***,static attributes of entities in the entity-relation events are constrained andmerged using a static graph constraint to obtain optimal entity ***,the evolution of entity and relation representations is utilized to predict events in the next subsequent *** multiple real-world datasets such as Freebase13(FB13),Freebase 15k(FB15K),WordNet11(WN11),WordNet18(WN18),FB15K-237,WN18RR,YAGO3-10,and Nell-995,the results of multiple evaluation indicators show that our proposed IndRT-GCNets framework outperforms most existing models on knowledge reasoning tasks,which validates the effectiveness and robustness.

Application of fetoscopy in the management of monochorionic multiple pregnancies

The complications of monochorionic （MC） multiple pregnancies include twin-reversed arterial perfusion（TRAP） and twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome （TTTS）. Currently, the most effective treatment for stages Ⅱ,Ⅲ, and Ⅳ TTTS is generally considered to be fetoscopic laser occlusion of chorioangiopagous vessels （FLOC）.3 MC twins who are severely discordant for growth or demonstrate anomalies may undergo selective reduction by means of a variety of different techniques.4 Radiofrequency ablation （RFA） of an acardiac twin has also proved to be an effective method of improving survival of the pump twin in the TRAP. Therefore, care for these complex pregnancies is ideally a coordinated multidisciplinary effort between perinatology, pediatric/fetal surgery, pediatric neurology, radiology/ ultrasound, genetics, social services, neonatology, and labor and delivery.

How interfacial electron-donating defects influence the structure and charge of gold nanoparticles on TiO_(2)support

The reduction degree of TiO_(2)support is critical to the performances of metal *** many previous theoretical calculations,only the bridge oxygen vacancy(Ov)was considered as the electron-donating defect on reduced rutile TiO_(2)(r-TiO_(2−x))***,titanium adatoms(Tiad.),oxidized titanium islands(***),and acid hydroxyls(ObrH)also exist at the metal/support *** conducting density functional theory(DFT)calculations and ab initio molecular dynamics(AIMD)simulations,we compared r-TiO_(2−x)surfaces with Ov,Tiad.,***,and ObrH sites loaded with Au nanoparticles(NPs).The results showed the Au NPs were oxygen-phobic but titanium-philic,resulting in wetting of Ov and *** short contact with *** and *** Bader charges of Au NPs(QM)showed a good linear relationship with the ideal number of donating electrons(Ne)from the defective sites(QM=−KeNe+QM,S),demonstrating the intrinsic electron allocation at the *** Ov,Tiad.,and *** exhibited similar slopes(Ke),relatively steeper than that of *** means in the scope of Au NP charge state,the *** *** have a close electron-donating ability with Ov,but the ObrH donates relatively fewer *** linear relationship can be extended approximately to other *** higher the metal work function,the steeper the Ke for easier electron donation from defective *** stronger the metal oxygen affinity,the more positive the intercept(QM,S).That explains the easy generation of metallic or negative Pt and Au NPs on r-TiO_(2−x),but hard for Cu and Zn in *** provides theoretical guidance for regulating the charge of metal NPs over TiO_(2−x)supports.

Numerical Study on the Aerodynamic and Fluid−Structure Interaction of An NREL-5MW Wind Turbine

A 5-MW wind turbine has been modeled and analyzed for fluid-structure interaction and aerodynamic *** this study, a full-scale model of a 5-MW wind turbine is first developed based on a computational fluid dynamics(CFD) approach, in which the unsteady, noncompressible Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS) method is used. The main focus of the study is to analyze the tower shadow effect on the aerodynamic performance of the wind turbine under different inlet flow conditions. Subsequently, the finite element model is established by considering fluid/structure interactions to study the structural stress, displacement, strain distributions and flow field information of the structure under the uniform wind speed. Finally, the fluid-structure interaction model is established by considering turbulent wind and the tower shadow effect. The variation rules of the dynamic response of the one-way and two-way fluid-structure interaction(FSI) models under different wind speeds are analyzed, and the numerical calculation results are compared with those of the centralized mass model. The results show that the tower shadow effect and structural deformation are the main factors affecting the aerodynamic load fluctuation of the wind turbine, which in turn affects the aerodynamic performance and structural stability of the blades. The structural dynamic response of the coupled model shows significant similarity, while the structural displacement response of the former exhibits less fluctuation compared with the conventional centralized mass model. The one-way fluid-structure interaction(FSI)model shows a higher frequency of stress-strain and displacement oscillations on the blade compared with the two-way FSI model.

Spatial distribution of supra-permafrost groundwater in the Qinghai-Tibet Engineering Corridor using inversion models

Supra-permafrost groundwater(SPG)is a key factor that causes damage to highways and railways in the Qinghai-Tibet Engineering Corridor(QTEC).It is difficult to monitor SPG in the field due to their complex formation mechanisms and movement *** single-site field monitoring studies limit the spatial and temporal precision of SPG spatial *** determine the moisture content of shallow soils and the SPG distribution along the QTEC,this work employed the temperature vegetation dryness index and remote sensing models for groundwater table distribution *** accuracies of the models were validated using mea-surements obtained from different sites in the *** the permafrost zones of the QTEC,72%,22%and 6%of the SPG were located at depths of 0.5-1,1 m,***,79.4%of the area along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway(QTH)(Xidatan-Tanggula)section contained *** these sections with SPG,37.9%have an SPG table at depths of 0.5-0.8 *** study preliminarily explored the SPG distribution in the QTEC with a 30 m *** findings can help improve the spatial scale of SPG research,provide a basis for the analysis of the hydrothermal mechanisms,and serve as a guide in the assessment of operational risks and road structure designs.
