This article discusses the problem of utility maximization in a market with random-interval payoffs without short-selling prohibition. A novel expected utility model is given to measure an investor's subjective view toward random interval wealth. Some techniques are proposed to transfer a complex programming involving interval numbers into a simple non-linear programming. Under the existence of the optimal strategy, relations between the optimal strategy and assets' prices are discussed. Some properties of the maximal utility function with respect to the endowment are given.

Aims Invasive plants may alter soil fungal communities in a way that improves their ***(N)content of soil affects the symbiosis between plants and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF),further determining plant ***,it is unclear whether altered AMF communities change the dependence of invasive and native species on N-form,and whether N forms alter the invasive plant–AMF interaction(PSIM).Methods Two synthetic plant communities,including four Solidago canadensis individuals and four native plant species,were inoculated with AMF spores from ***-invaded soils and adjacent non-invaded soils,and were provided with nitrate,ammonia or *** their growth,the performance of the two plant communities in treatments of AMF origin and N forms,and the pathways of the N forms affecting *** growth and PSIM were *** Findings Solidago canadensis had no obvious N-form dependence in any of the AMF *** plant species showed weak N-form dependence,but invasive AMF could remove their N-form *** the absence of N,AMF did not affect growth of *** and the native *** contrast,with N addition,invasive AMF significantly increased belowground and total biomass of the invasive plants but not those of the native *** PSIM of *** was also evidently greater than that of native plant species and was realized through directly or indirectly regulating phenotypic traits including plant height,leaf number and number of *** findings emphasize the importance of plant–AMF interactions and a unique N-acquisition strategy during plant invasions.

ZnTi-layered double hydroxides（LDHs） with varying Zn/Ti ratio have been synthesized by coprecipitation of zinc and titanium salts from homogeneous *** obtained ZnTi-LDHs possess high crystallinity and hierarchical structure with improved UV-absorbance *** UV-vis spectra show that the UV absorbing properties of ZnTi-LDHs is stronger and broader than both MgAl-LDH and ZnAl-LDH due to the existence of ***,the UV absorption property increased with the content of Ti,which can be ascribed to the decrease in the band gap energy,as clearly confirmed by density functional theory *** irradiated by UV rays,the property of the samples with generated free radicals（OH^·and O2^·） was evaluated by means of electron spin resonance（EPR）.ZnTi-LDHs generated a relatively lower active radicals in contrast with TiO2 and ZnO,which implied an increased safety used as ***,this work provides a detailed understanding of UV shielding properties of ZnTiLDHs which was unrevealed previously,and demonstrates the expansive application prospects of ZnTiLDHs in the field of sunscreens.

AIM: To study the purifying method and characteristics of new gosling viral enteritis virus (NGVEV),the etiological agent of new gosling viral enteritis (NGVE) which was first recognized in China, as well as the pathomorphological development in goslings infected artificially with NGVEV. METHODS: (1)NGVEV virions were purified by the procedure of treatment with chloroform and ammonium sulfate precipitation, dialysis to remove the sulfate radical and ammonium ion and separation by gel filtration chromatography, and SDS-PAGE. (2)Forty-2-day-old White Sichuan goslings were orally administered with NGVEV and 24 hr later 2 birds were randomly selected and killed at 24hr intervals until death occurred. Specimens(duodenum, ileum, liver, heart, kidney, spleen, lung, proventriculus, pancreas, esophagus, and the intestinal embolus) were taken until all birds in this group died and were sectioned and stained with hemotoxylin and eosin and studied by light microscope. RESULTS: NGVEV shared the typical characteristics of Adenovirus and which structural proteins consisted of 15 polypeptides. Necrosis and sloughing of the epithelial cells covering the villus tips of the duodenum were first observed in goslings 2 days postinfection artificially with NGVEV. With the progress of infection, this lesion rapidly occurred in the epithelium at the base of the villus and with infiltration of the inflammatory cells, the jejunum tended to be involved. With the intensification of mucosa necrosis and inflammatory exudation of the small intestine, fibrinonecrotic enteritis was further developed and embolus composed of either intestinal contents wrapped by pseudo-membrane or of the mixture of fibrous exudate and necrotic intestinal mucosa were observed in the middle-lower part of the small intestine. This structure occluded the intestinal tract and made the intestine dilated in appearance. The intestinal glandular cells underwent degeneration, necrosis and might be found sloughed into the lumen.

Gravitational waves(GWs) from compact binary coalescences encode the absolute luminosity distances of GW sources. Once the redshifts of GW sources are known, one can use the distance-redshift relation to constrain cosmological parameters. One way to obtain the redshifts is to localize GW sources by GW observations and then use galaxy catalogs to determine redshifts from a statistical analysis of redshift information of the potential host galaxies, commonly referred to as the dark siren method. The third-generation(3G) GW detectors are planned to work in the 2030s and will observe numerous compact binary *** these GW events as dark sirens requires high-quality galaxy catalogs from future sky survey projects. The China Space Station Telescope(CSST) will be launched in 2024 and will observe billions of galaxies within a 17500 deg^(2) survey area with redshift up to z ~ 4, providing photometric and spectroscopic galaxy catalogs. In this work, we simulate the CSST galaxy catalogs and the 5-year GW data from the 3G GW detectors and combine them to infer the Hubble constant(H_(0)). Our results show that the measurement precision of H0could reach the sub-percent level, meeting the standard of precision cosmology. We conclude that the synergy between CSST and the 3G GW detectors is of great significance in measuring the Hubble constant.
