A novel multi-focus polychromatic image fusion algorithm based on filtering in the frequency domain using fast Fourier transform(FFT) and synthesis in the space domain(FFDSSD) is presented in this ***,the original multi-focus images are transformed into their frequency data by FFT for easy and accurate clarity *** a Gaussian low-pass filter is used to filter the high frequency information corresponding to the image *** an inverse FFT,the filtered images are *** deviation between the filtered images and the original ones,representing the clarity of the image,is used to select the pixels from the multi-focus images to reconstruct a completely focused *** operations in space domain preserve the original information as much as possible and are relatively insensitive to misregistration scenarios with respect to transform domain *** polychromatic noise is well considered and successfully avoided while the information in different chromatic channels is preserved.A natural,nice-looking fused microscopic image for human visual evaluations is obtained in a dedicated *** experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm has a good performance in objective quality metrics and runtime efficiency.

Compounds 6g, 7g and 7h with the potencies similar to those of gemifloxacin, moxifloxaein, gatifloxacin and levofloxacin against Gram-positive organisms, worth further investigation.

Catechins are the predominant products in tea plants and have essential functions for both plants and *** genes encoding the enzymes regulating catechin biosynthesis have been identified,and the identification of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)resulting in nonsynonymous mutations within these genes can be used to establish a functional link to catechin ***,the transcriptomes of two parents and four filial offspring were sequenced using next-generation sequencing technology and aligned to the reference genome to enable SNP ***,176 tea plant accessions were genotyped based on candidate SNPs using kompetitive allelespecific polymerase chain reaction(KASP).The catechin contents of these samples were characterized by highperformance liquid chromatography(HPLC),and analysis of variance(ANOVA)was subsequently performed to determine the relationship between genotypes and catechin *** a result of these efforts,a SNP within the chalcone synthase(CHS)gene was shown to be functionally associated with catechin ***,the geographical and interspecific distribution of this SNP was ***,these results will contribute to the early evaluation of tea plants and serve as a rapid tool for accelerating targeted efforts in tea breeding.

Poly（ethylene oxide）-based polymer all-solid-state lithium metal batteries（ASSLBs） have received widespread attention due to their low cost,good process ability,and high energy ***,the growth of Li dendrites within polymer solid-state electrolytes damages the reversibility of Li anodes and still impedes their widespread *** efficient strategy is to construct a superior solid electrolyte ***,a stable interface enriched with Li3N and LiF is in-situ formed between Li anode and a terna ry salt *** terna ry salt electrolyte is innovatively designed by introducing lithium bis（trifluoromethane sulfonyl）imide（LiTFSI）,lithium bis（fluorosulfonyl）imide（LiFSI）,and LiNO3to poly（ethylene oxide） *** characterization indicates that LiNO3and LiFSI contribute to forming a Li3N-LiF-enriched interface and meanwhile LiTFSI ensures excellent ***,among various Li compound components,Li3N has high ionic conductivity,which is beneficial for reducing overpotential,while LiF has high interfacial energy which can enhance nucleation energy and suppress the formation of Li *** experimental results show that ASSLBs coupled with LiFePO4cathode display extremely excellent cycle stability approximately 2200 cycles at 2 C,with a final and corresponding discharge specific capacity of 96.7 mA h g-1. Additionally,a schematic illustration of the working mechanism for the Li3N-LiF interface is proposed.

Near-eutectic Al-Si alloys are widely used in automotive manufacturing due to their superior wear resistance and high temperature *** of high Si content,the grain refinement of near-eutectic Al-Si alloy has been a problem for many *** this study,the effect of deep cryogenic treatment(DCT)on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-12Si-4Cu-2Ni-Mg alloy with addition of Al-Ti-C-B master alloy was fully *** show that the average grain size of the alloy is greatly reduced from 0.92 mm to 0.50 mm,and the eutectic Si and Al7Cu4Ni precipitates are spheroidized and refined in Al-12Si-4Cu-2Ni-Mg after DCT for 24 h and aging *** these changes of microstructures result in a significant increment of about 22.5%in elongation and a slight enhancement of about 6.8%in tensile ***,the refinement of microstructure also significantly improves the fatigue life of the alloy.

Cryopreservation of few spermatozoa is still a major challenge for male fertility preservation. This study reports use a new micro-straw （LSL straw） for freezing few spermatozoa for intracytoplasmic sperm injection （ICSI）. Semen samples from 22 fertile donors were collected, and each semen sample was diluted and mixed with cryoprotectant in a ratio of 1：1, and then frozen using three different straws such as LSL straw （50-100μl）, traditional 0.25 ml and 0.5 ml straws. For freezing, all straws were fumigated with liquid nitrogen, with temperature directly reducing to -130--140℃. Sperm concentration, progressive motility, morphology, acrosome integrity, and DNA fragmentation index were evaluated before and after freezing. After freezing-thawing, LSL straw group had significantly higher percentage of sperm motility than traditional 0.25 ml and 0.5 ml straw groups （38.5% vs 27.4% and 25.6%, P 〈 0.003）. Sperm motility and acrosomal integrity after freezing-thawing were significantly lower than that of before freezing. However, there was no significant difference in morphology, acrosome, and DNA integrity between the three types of straws （P 〉 0.05）. As LSL straws were thinner and hold very small volume, the freezing rate of LSL straw was obviously faster than 0.25 ml straw and 0.5 ml straws. In conclusion, LSL micro-straws may be useful to store few motile spermatozoa with good recovery of motility for patients undergoing ICSI treatment.

Electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction(ECR)to high value-added chemicals by using renewable electricity presents a promising strategy to realize“carbon neutrality”.However,the ECR system is still limited by its low current density and poor CO_(2) utilization ***,by using the confinement effect of covalent organic frame-works(COFs)to confine the in-situ growth of metal nanoclusters(NCs),we develop a series of Cu NCs encap-sulated on COF catalysts(Cu-NC@COF)for *** them,Cu-NC@CuPc-COF as a gas diffusion electrode(GDE)achieves a maximum CO_(2)-to-CH_(4) Faradaic efficiency of 74±3%(at-1.0 V *** Hydrogen Electrode(RHE))with a current density of 538±31 mA cm^(-2)(at-1.2 V ***)in a flow cell,making it one of the best among reported *** importantly,the current density is much higher than the relevant industrial current density(200 mA cm^(-2)),indicating the potential for industrial *** work opens up new possibilities for the design of ECR catalysts that utilize synergistic strategy.
