Structural equation and Mei conserved quantity of Mei symmetry for Appell equations in holonomic systems with unilateral constraints are investigated. Appell equations and differential equations of motion for holonomie mechanic systems with unilateral constraints axe established. The definition and the criterion of Mei symmetry for Appell equations in holonomic systems with unilateral constraints under the infinitesimal transformations of groups axe also given. The expressions of the structural equation and Mei conserved quantity of Mei symmetry for Appell equations in holonomic systems with unilateral constraints expressed by Appell functions are obtained. An example is given to illustrate the application of the results.

This research proposed an improved transfer-learning bird classification framework to achieve a more precise classification of Protected Indonesia Birds(PIB)which have been identified as the endangered bird *** framework takes advantage of using the proposed sequence of Batch Normalization Dropout Fully-Connected(BNDFC)layers to enhance the baseline model of transfer *** main contribution of this work is the proposed sequence of BNDFC that can be applied to any Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)based model to improve the classification accuracy,especially for image-based species classification *** experiment results show that the proposed sequence of BNDFC layers outperform other combination of *** addition of BNDFC can improve the model’s performance across ten different CNN-based *** average,BNDFC can improve by approximately 19.88%in Accuracy,24.43%in F-measure,17.93%in G-mean,23.41%in Sensitivity,and 18.76%in ***,applying fine-tuning(FT)is able to enhance the accuracy by 0.85%with a smaller validation loss of 18.33%*** addition,MobileNetV2 was observed to be the best baseline model with the lightest size of 35.9 MB and the highest accuracy of 88.07%in the validation set.

Controllable strong interactions between a nanocavity and a single emitter is important to manipulating optical emission in a nanophotonic system but challenging to *** a three-dimensional DNA origami,named as DNA rack(DR)is proposed and demonstrated to deterministically and precisely assemble single emitters within ultra-small plasmonic nanocavities formed by closely coupled gold nanorods(AuNRs).Uniquely,the DR is in a saddle shape,with two tubular grooves that geometrically allow a snug fit and linearly align two AuNRs with a bending angle <10°.It also includes a spacer at the saddle point to maintain the gap between AuNRs as small as 2-3 nm,forming a nanocavity estimated to be 20 nm^(3) and an experimentally measured O factor of 7.3.A DNA docking strand is designed at the spacer to position a single fluorescent emitter at nanometer accuracy within the *** Cy5 as a model emitter,a -30-fold fluorescence enhancement and a significantly reduced emission lifetime(from 1.6 ns to 670 ps)were experimentally verified,confirming significant emitter-cavity *** DR-templated assembly method is capable of fitting AuNRs of variable length-to-width aspect ratios to form anisotropic nanocavities and deterministically incorporate different single emitters,thus enabling flexible design of both cavity resonance and emission wavelengths to tailor light-matter interactions at nanometer scale.

Gas quenching and vacuum quenching process are widely applied to accelerate solvent volatilization to induce nucleation of perovskites in blade-coating *** this work,we found these two pre-crystallization processes lead to different order of crystallization dynamics within the perovskite thin film,resulting in the differences of additive *** then tailor-designed an additive molecule named 1,3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)thiourea to obtain films with fewer defects and holes at the buried interface,and prepared perovskite solar cells with a certified efficiency of 23.75%.Furthermore,this work also demonstrates an efficiency of 20.18%for the large-area perovskite solar module(PSM)with an aperture area of 60.84 cm^(2).The PSM possesses remarkable continuous operation stability for maximum power point tracking of T_(90)>1000 h in ambient air.

The ratio between vertical and radial amplitudes of Rayleigh waves(hereafter,the Rayleigh wave ZH ratio)is an important parameter used to constrain structures beneath seismic *** previous studies have explored crust and upper mantle structures by joint inversion of the Rayleigh wave ZH ratio and surface wave ***,all these studies have used a 1-D depth sensitivity kernel,and this kernel may lack precision when the structure varies a great deal ***,we present a systematic investigation of the two-dimensional(2-D)Rayleigh wave ZH ratio kernel based on the adjoint-wavefield method and perform two synthetic tests using the new *** 2-D ZH ratio kernel is consistent with the traditional 1-D sensitivity kernel but has an asymmetric pattern with a preferred orientation toward the *** predominant effect caused by heterogeneity can clearly be seen from kernels calculated from models with 2-D heterogeneities,which confirms the necessity of using the new 2-D kernel in some complex *** tests using synthetic data show that the 2-D ZH ratio kernel has the potential to resolve small anomalies as well as complex lateral structures.

The trajectory tracking control problem is addressed for autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV) in marine environ?ment, with presence of the influence of the uncertain factors including ocean current disturbance, dynamic modeling uncertainty, and thrust model errors. To improve the trajectory tracking accuracy of AUV, an adaptive backstepping terminal sliding mode control based on recurrent neural networks(RNN) is proposed. Firstly, considering the inaccu?rate of thrust model of thruster, a Taylor’s polynomial is used to obtain the thrust model errors. And then, the dynamic modeling uncertainty and thrust model errors are combined into the system model uncertainty(SMU) of AUV; through the RNN, the SMU and ocean current disturbance are classified, approximated online. Finally, the weights of RNN and other control parameters are adjusted online based on the backstepping terminal sliding mode controller. In addition, a chattering?reduction method is proposed based on sigmoid function. In chattering?reduction method, the sigmoid function is used to realize the continuity of the sliding mode switching function, and the sliding mode switching gain is adjusted online based on the exponential form of the sliding mode function. Based on the Lyapu?nov theory and Barbalat’s lemma, it is theoretically proved that the AUV trajectory tracking error can quickly converge to zero in the finite time. This research proposes a trajectory tracking control method of AUV, which can e ectively achieve high?precision trajectory tracking control of AUV under the influence of the uncertain factors. The feasibility and e ectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated with trajectory tracking simulations and pool?experi?ments of AUV.

Study on the ignition process of a segmented plasma torch

Direct current plasma torches have been applied to generate unique sources of thermal energy in many industrial applications. Nevertheless, the successful ignition of a plasma torch is the key process to generate the unique source （plasma jet）. However, there has been tittle study on the underlying mechanism of this key process. A thorough understanding of the ignition process of a plasma torch will be helpful for optimizing the design of the plasma torch structure and selection of the ignition parameters to prolong the service life of the ignition module. Thus, in this paper, the ignition process of a segmented plasma torch （SPT） is theoretically and experimentally modeled and analyzed. Corresponding electrical models of different stages of the ignition process axe set up and used to derive the electrical parameters, e.g. the variations of the arc voltage and arc current between the cathode and anode. In addition, the experiments with different ignition parameters on a home-made SPT have been conducted. At the same time, the variations of the arc voltage and arc current have been measured, and used to verify the ones derived in theory and to determine the optimal ignition parameters for a particular SPT.

The manipulation and characterization of light polarization states are essential for many applications in quantum communication and computing,spectroscopy,bioinspired navigation,and *** metamaterials and metasurfaces facilitate ultracompact devices for circularly polarized light generation,manipulation,and ***,we report bioinspired chiral metasurfaces with both strong chiral optical effects and low insertion *** experimentally demonstrated submicron-thick circularly polarized light filters with peak extinction ratios up to 35 and maximum transmission efficiencies close to 80% at near-infrared wavelengths(the best operational wavelengths can be engineered in the range of 1.3-1.6μm).We also monolithically integrated the microscale circular polarization filters with linear polarization filters to perform full-Stokes polarimetric measurements of light with arbitrary polarization *** the advantages of easy on-chip integration,ultracompact footprints,scalability,and broad wavelength coverage,our designs hold great promise for facilitating chip-integrated polarimeters and polarimetric imaging systems for quantum-based optical computing and information processing,circular dichroism spectroscopy,biomedical diagnosis,and remote sensing applications.
