The antioxidant N-isopropyl-N '-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine (4010NA) was dissolved in ethanol and impregnated into silica aerogel (SAG) via vacuum-pressure cycles, yielding composite particles (A-N) with enhanced sustained-release and reinforcing capabilities. The effect of A-N on the mechanical properties and thermal-oxidative aging resistance of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) vulcanizates was investigated. TGA and BET assessments indicated that the loading efficiency of 4010NA in SAG reached 14.26% within ethanol's solubility limit. Incorporating A-N into SBR vulcanizates significantly elevated tensile strength by 17.5% and elongation at break by 41.9% over those with fumed silica and free 4010NA. Furthermore, A-N notably enhanced the thermal-oxidative aging resistance of SBR. After aging for 96 h at 100 degrees C, the tensile strength and elongation at break of SBR with A-N sustained 70.09% and 58.61% of their initial values, respectively, with the retention rate of elongation at break being 62.8% higher than that of SBR with fumed silica and free antioxidant. The study revealed that A-N composite particles significantly inhibited the crosslinking in SBR's molecular chains, reducing hardening and embrittlement during later thermal-oxidative aging stages.

Quantification of the impact of winter wheat irrigation on the climate and the occurrence of extreme climatic events over North China is crucial for regional adaptation *** related studies mainly focused on the impact on surface processes;however,few focused on the effects of extreme events using high-resolution nonhydrostatic regional climate ***,the 9-km-resolution nonhydrostatic RegCM4.7 was coupled with a crop irrigation scheme and an updated winter wheat irrigation dataset to better simulate irrigation *** experiments were conducted with and without winter wheat irrigation to isolate the effects of *** showed that irrigation simulation reduces the model biases in temperature,precipitation,latent heat flux,soil moisture,sensitive heat flux,and top-layer soil ***,it also reduces the bias and increases the correlation with observations obtained in irrigated areas,especially in summer,indicating better representation of irrigation *** wheat irrigation tends to cause substantial cooling of the local surface maximum,minimum,and mean air temperatures(by-1.68,-0.34,and-0.79℃,respectively)over irrigated areas of North China,with the largest changes observed in relation to maximum ***,precipitation is found to increase during spring and summer,which is strongly related to water vapor transport in the lower levels of the *** analyses indicated that the number of annual mean hot days decrease(-13.9 d),whereas the number of both comfort days(+10.2 d)and rainy days(days with total precipitation greater than 1 mm:+6.6 d)increase over irrigated areas,demonstrating beneficial feedback to human perception and ***,although the heat wave risk increases(number of annual mean heat wave days:+5.8 d),the impact is limited to small areas within irrigated ***,no notable change was found in terms of heavy rainfall events and precipitation intensity

Brain functional networks model the brain's ability to exchange information across different regions,aiding in the understanding of the cognitive process of human visual attention during target searching,thereby contributing to the advancement of camouflage *** this study,images with various camouflage effects were presented to observers to generate electroencephalography(EEG)signals,which were then used to construct a brain functional *** topological parameters of the network were subsequently extracted and input into a machine learning model for *** results indicate that most of the classifiers achieved accuracy rates exceeding 70%.Specifically,the Logistic algorithm achieved an accuracy of 81.67%.Therefore,it is possible to predict target camouflage effectiveness with high accuracy without the need to calculate discovery *** proposed method fully considers the aspects of human visual and cognitive processes,overcomes the subjectivity of human interpretation,and achieves stable and reliable accuracy.

Poly(ester amide)s (PEAs) attract much attention as a new kind of biodegradable polymers. However, the synthesis of PEAs with sequence-regulated chain structures is still complicated due to the multistep polymerization, high monomer purity, as well as the usage of organic solvents, which greatly inhibits its development and applications. Herein, a one-pot strategy without solvent was developed to synthesize the alternating PEA from alpha,omega-amino alcohol and dicarboxylic acid by sequential polycondensation, where water was used as the controlling agent for amidation and esterification. Specifically, the amidation and esterification were controlled to proceed in turn by adding or removing water, realizing the one-pot preparation of alternating PEAs. The resultant PEA is characterized by 1H- and 13C-NMR, and its chain structure is confirmed to be highly quasi-alternating similar to alternating PEAs prepared by classical methods The evaluations from DSC and DMA demonstrate that the properties of quasi-alternating PEA (T-m = 102 degrees C, Delta H-m=30 Jg(-1)) are far superior to those of random PEA (T-m=72 degrees C, Delta H-mg(-1)).

In this study,samples were taken from three locations,upstream to downstream,along the central route project of the China South to North Water Diversion(SNWD)scheme in summer and *** were used to reveal the variations of dissolved organic matter(DOM)during the water transfer process,and the effects of these variations on drinking water treatment and disinfection by-products formation potential(DBPs-FP).The results showed that polysaccharides accumulate in summer and reduce in winter with flow distance,which has an important effect on the overall properties of DOM,as well as on the performance of coagulation,ultrafiltration,and the formation of *** substances,and their hydrophilic content,also increased in summer and decreased in winter with flow *** contrast,the concentration of small organic substances(MW≤1000 Da)increased in both summer and winter with flow distance,which affected both nanofiltration(NF)membrane fouling and *** results provide a useful case study of spatial and temporal changes in raw water DOM during long distance water transfer and their impact on the treatment and quality of drinking water from the SNWD.

Lamprey is a representative of the agnathans, the most ancient class of vertebrates. Parasitic lampreys secrete anticoagulantfrom their buccal glands and prevent blood coagulation of host fishes. We identified a buccal gland secretory protein-2(BGSP-2) from a buccal gland cDNA library of Lampetra japonica. The full-length BGSP-2 gene was cloned and the recombinantBGSP-2 protein was generated. The role of BGSP-2 on lymphocyte proliferation was studied by examining its effects onhuman T lymphocytes. We found that lamprey BGSP-2 was able to effectively block the proliferation of T cells in vitro by inducingG_1/S cell cycle arrest. Furthermore, it inhibited the proliferation of human T lymphocytes stimulated by phytohemagglutinin(PHA) at a minimum concentration of 0.1μg/ml. Our data suggest that lamprey BGSP-2 is able to block the mitosis of humanT lymphocytes at the G1/S point, and has the potential of anti-proliferative effect on PHA-activated T

Quasi-solid-state lithium metal batteries(QSSLMBs)assembled with polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)are a promising class of next-generation rechargeable batteries due to their safety,high energy density,and superior interfacial ***,PVDF has a series of inherent drawbacks such as low ionic conductivity,ease of crystallization,and hydrophobic character that leading to poor cell *** tackle these issues,a lignin-reinforced PVDF electrolyte is proposed in this work to solve these drawbacks of PVDF and enhance the comprehensive performance of *** lithophilic polar groups of lignin can promote uniform deposition of Li on the *** with the improved mechanical properties can efficiently prevent Li dendrites penetration through the *** addition,more active sites provided by lignin can also enhance Li^(+)transport and lead to a faster electrochemical reaction *** from the ingenious design,Li symmetric cells with 5%lignin-PVDF quasi-solid-state electrolyte can operate for 900 h at a high current density/capacity of 5 mA·cm^(-2)/5 mAh·cm^(-2),while shortcircuiting occurs after 56 h for the counterpart(pure PVDF).Moreover,a full cell of Li/5%lignin-PVDF/LFP cell demonstrates a high capacity of 96.2 mAh·g^(-1)after 2000 cycles at 10 *** work is expected to open up promising opportunities to develop other high-energy/power-density QSSLMBs.
