Preparation and performance evaluation of the slickwater using novel polymeric drag reducing agent with high temperature and shear resistance ability

Slickwater fracturing fluids are widely used in the development of unconventional oil and gas resources due to the advantages of low cost,low formation damage and high drag reduction ***,their performance is severely affected at high *** reducing agent is the key to determine the drag reducing performance of *** this work,in order to further improve the temperature resistance of slickwater,a temperature-resistant polymeric drag reducing agent(PDRA)was synthesized and used as the basis for preparing the temperature-resistant *** slickwater system was prepared with the compositions of 0.2 wt%PDRA,0.05 wt%drainage aid nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate(NPEP)and 0.5 wt%anti-expansion agent polyepichlorohydrindimethylamine(PDM).The drag reduction ability,rheology properties,temperature and shear resistance ability,and core damage property of slickwater were systematically studied and *** contrast to on-site drag reducing agent(DRA)and HPAM,the temperature-resistant slickwater demonstrates enhanced drag reduction efficacy at 90℃,exhibiting superior temperature and shear resistance ***,the drag reduction retention rate for the slickwater achieved an impressive 90.52%after a 30-min shearing ***,the core damage is only 5.53%.We expect that this study can broaden the application of slickwater in high-temperature reservoirs and provide a theoretical basis for field applications.

Realtime trigger and localization of bursts are the key functions of GECAM,an all-sky gamma-ray monitor launched on 2020 December *** developed a multifunctional trigger and localization software operating in the CPU of the GECAM Electronic *** onboard software has the following features:high trigger efficiency for real celestial bursts with a suppression of false triggers caused by charged particle bursts and background fluctuation,dedicated localization algorithm optimized for both short and long bursts,and low time latency of the trigger information which is downlinked through the Global Short Message Communication service of the global BeiDou navigation *** paper provides a detailed description of the design and development of the trigger and localization software system for *** covers the general design,workflow,the main functions,and the algorithms used in the *** paper also includes on-ground trigger tests using simulated gamma-ray bursts generated by a dedicated X-ray tube,as well as an overview of the performance for real celestial bursts during its in-orbit operation.

Segment-based traffic smoothing algorithm for VBR video stream

Transmission of variable bit rate (VBR) video, because of the burstiness of VBR video traffic, has high fluctuation in bandwidth requirement. Traffic smoothing algorithm is very efficient in reducing burstiness of the VBR video stream by trans- mitting data in a series of fixed rates. We propose in this paper a novel segment-based bandwidth allocation algorithm which dynamically adjusts the segmentation boundary and changes the transmission rate at the latest possible point so that the video segment will be extended as long as possible and the number of rate changes can be as small as possible while keeping the peak rate low. Simulation results showed that our approach has small bandwidth requirement, high bandwidth utilization and low computation cost.

Covalent inhibitor targets KRas^(G12C):A new paradigm for drugging the undruggable and challenges ahead

KRAS is one of the most commonly mutated oncogenes in cancers and therapeutics directly targeting the KRas have been *** the different known mutants,KRas^(G12C) has been proved to be successfully targeted *** covalent inhibitors selectively targeting KRas^(G12C) have shown promising efficacy against cancers harboring KRAS G12C mutation in clinical trials and AMG510(sotorasib)has been approved for the treatment of KRAS G12C-mutated locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung ***,the overall responsive rate of KRas^(G12C) inhibitors was around 50%in patients with non-small cell lung cancer and the efficacy in patients with colorectal cancer or appendiceal cancer appears to be less *** is of great importance to discover biomarkers to distinguish patients who are likely ***,adaptive resistance would occur inevitably with the persistent administration like other molecularly targeted *** combinatorial regimens have been studied in an effort to potentiate the efficacy of KRas^(G12C) inhibitors in preclinical *** review summarized the recent progress of covalent KRas^(G12C) inhibitors with a focus on identifying biomarkers to predict or monitor the efficacy and proposing rational drug combinations based on elucidation of the mechanisms of drug resistance.

Rate compatible reconciliation for continuous-variable quantum key distribution using Raptor-like LDPC codes

In the practical continuous-variable quantum key distribution(CV-QKD)system,the postprocessing process,particularly the error correction part,significantly impacts the system ***-edge type low-density parity-check(MET-LDPC)codes are suitable for CV-QKD systems because of their Shannon-limit-approaching performance at a low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).However,the process of designing a low-rate MET-LDPC code with good performance is extremely ***,we introduce Raptor-like LDPC(RL-LDPC)codes into the CV-QKD system,exhibiting both the rate compatible property of the Raptor code and capacity-approaching performance of MET-LDPC ***,this technique can significantly reduce the cost of constructing a new *** design the RL-LDPC matrix with a code rate of 0.02 and easily and effectively adjust this rate from 0.016 to *** results show that we can achieve more than 98%reconciliation efficiency in a range of code rate variation using only one RL-LDPC code that can support high-speed decoding with an SNR less than-16.45 d *** code allows the system to maintain a high key extraction rate under various SNRs,paving the way for practical applications of CV-QKD systems with different transmission distances.

Pseudoscalar meson and baryon octet interaction with strangeness zero in the unitary coupled-channel approximation

The interaction of the pseudoscalar meson and the baryon octet is investigated by solving the Bethe-Salpeter equation in the unitary coupled-channel approximation. In addition to the Weinberg-Tomozawa term, the contribution of the s-and u-channel potentials in the-wave approximation are taken into account. In the sector of isospin I=1/2 and strangeness S =0, a pole is detected in a reasonable region of the complex energy plane of ■ in the center-of-mass frame by analyzing the behavior of the scattering amplitude, which is higher than the ηN threshold and lies on the third Riemann sheet. Thus, it can be regarded as a resonance state and might correspond to the N(1535) particle of the Particle Data Group(PDG) review. The coupling constants of this resonance state to the πN,ηN,KΛ and KΣ channels are calculated, and it is found that this resonance state couples strongly to the hidden strange channels. Apparently, the hidden strange channels play an important role in the generation of resonance states with strangeness zero. The interaction of the pseudoscalar meson and the baryon octet is repulsive in the sector of isospin I = 3/2 and strangeness S = 0, so that no resonance state can be generated dynamically.

Phase-field Modeling of the Influence of Elastic Field on the Nucleation and Microstructure Evolution in Precipitation

A phase-field method was employed to study the influence of elastic field on the nucleation and microstructure evolution. Two kinds of nucleation process were considered： one using fixed nucleation probability and the other calculated from the classical nucleation theory. In the latter case, the simulated results show that the anisotropic elastic strain field yields significant effects on the behavior of nucleation. With a large lattice misfit between the matrixes and the precipitates, the nucleation process does not appear fully random but displays some spatial correlation and has a preference for the elastic soft direction. However, with a small lattice misfit, this bias does not look quite clear. On the contrary, in the case of fixed nucleation probability, the elastic field has no influence on the nucleation process. The lattice mismatch also exerts influences on the microstructure morphology： with lattice mismatch becoming larger, the microstructure proves to align along the elastic soft direction.

A large-area improved dielectric barrier glow discharge tunnel has been developed for modifying the surface of polyester film at atmospheric pressure with argon and oxygen gas mixtures. The electrical properties of the glow discharge tunnel were studied by simultaneous measurement of the voltage and current. In addition, the effect of the glow discharge tunnel treatment on the surface of polyester film were studied. The resultant modifications of the surface properties of the treated samples were investigated through scanning probe microscopy and contact angle measurement.

Micro-texturing has been widely proven to be an effective technology for achieving sustainable ***,the performance of micro-textured tools under different cooling conditions,especially their coupling effect on machined surface integrity,was scarcely *** this paper,the non-textured,linear micro-grooved,and curvilinear micro-grooved inserts were used to turn aluminum alloy 6061 under dry,emulsion,and liquid nitrogen cryogenic cooling *** coupling effects of different micro-textures and cooling conditions on cutting force,cutting temperature,and machined surface integrity,including the surface roughness,work hardening,and residual stress,were revealed and discussed in *** indicated that the micro-grooved tools,especially the curvilinear micro-grooved tools,not only reduced the cutting force and cutting temperature,but also improved the machined surface *** addition,the micro-grooved tools can cooperate with the emulsion or liquid nitrogen to reduce the cutting force,cutting temperature,and improve the machined surface integrity generally,although the combination of emulsion cooling condition and micro-grooved tools generated negative coupling effects on cutting forces and surface work ***,the combination of curvilinear micro-grooved cutting tools and cryogenic cooling condition resulted in the lowest cutting force and cutting temperature,which generated the surface with low roughness,weak work hardening,and compressive residual stress.

Microstructure and mechanical properties of a cast TRIP-assisted multiphase stainless steel

Stainless steels are used in a wide range of complex environments due to their excellent corrosion *** stainless steels can offer an excellent combination of strength,toughness and corrosion resistance due to the coexistence of different *** microstructure and mechanical properties of a novel cast multiphase stainless steel,composed of martensite,ferrite,and austenite,were investigated following appropriate heat treatment processes:solution treatment at 1,050℃ for 0.5 h followed by water quenching to room temperature,and aging treatment at 500℃ for 4 h followed by water quenching to room *** show reversed austenite is formed by diffusion of Ni element during aging process,and the enrichment of Ni atoms directly determines the mechanical stability of *** austenite with a lower Ni content undergoes a martensitic transformation during plastic *** tensile strength of the specimen exceeds 1,100 MPa and the elongation exceeds 24%after solid solution,and further increases to 1,247 MPa and 25%after aging *** enhancement is due to the TRIP effect of austenite and the precipitation of the nanoscale G-phase pinning dislocations in ferrite and martensite.
