In this study, the effect of extreme laser fields on the α decay process of ground-state even–even nuclei was *** the deformed Gamow-like model, we found that state-of-the-art lasers can cause a slight change in the α decay penetration probability of most nuclei. In addition, we studied the correlation between the rate of change of the α decay penetration probability and angle between the directions of the laser electric field and α particle emission for different nuclei. Based on this correlation, the average effect of extreme laser fields on the half-life of many nuclei with arbitrary α particle emission angles was calculated. The calculations show that the laser suppression and promotion effects on the α decay penetration probability of the nuclei population with completely random α particle-emission directions are not completely *** remainder led to a change in the average penetration probability of the nuclei. Furthermore, the possibility of achieving a higher average rate of change by altering the spatial shape of the laser is explored. We conclude that circularly polarized lasers may be helpful in future experiments to achieve a more significant average rate of change of the α decay half-life of the nuclei population.

The output of new energy represented by wind power and photovoltaic power features volatility and randomness. It is a practical approach to use the guaranteed rate with statistical characteristics to analyze the output coefficient of new energy. However, there is a lack of analysis and demonstration on the value of the new energy output guaranteed rate. To solve this problem, a selection method for the new energy output guaranteed rate considering optimal energy storage configuration is proposed. First, the influence of the new energy output guaranteed rate on the new energy output coefficient is analyzed. Secondly, with the goal of minimizing the comprehensive costs, an optimal configuration model of energy storage based on the output guaranteed rate of new energy is constructed, and particle swarm optimization is used for the optimization solution. Then, according to the optimal energy storage configuration results under different guaranteed rates, a reasonable new energy output guaranteed rate is determined by maximizing the comprehensive benefits obtained from energy storage. Finally, an example applied to the power grid in an area of Guangdong in Southern China is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Background:Coronary artery disease(CAD)in octogenarians(age of>80 years)has a high risk of mortality and high *** shows that the prevalence of CAD is higher among octogenarians than that among younger people,but few such patients undergo percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)or coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG).This study aimed to evaluate different treatments w让h respect to their clinical effects and impacts on quality of life of octogenarians with ***:Data of 519 octogenarians with CAD consecutively treated at Beijing Anzhen Hospital,Capital Medical University(Beijing,China)from January 2010 to January 2016 were collected in this *** patients were categorized into three groups based on the treatments they received:the PCI group(n=292),CABG group(n=110),and medical treatment group(n=117).The followings were recorded during follow-up:clinical data,death(all-cause and cardiovascular-related),re-hospitalization time,Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ)score,and occurrence of hemorrhagic events(cerebral bleeding,gastrointestinal bleeding,and dermal ecchymosis).Results:The median follow-up duration was 25.0(25th,75th percentile:17.0,55.5)months among 417 *** all-cause death rates(28.2%vs.12.0%and 14.6%,respectively)and cardiovascular-related death rates(15.4%us.3.8%and 6.4%,respectively)were significantly higher in the medical treatment group than those in the PCI group and CABG group(all P<0.05).The re-hospitalization rate for cardiovascular events was significantly lower in the CABG group than those in the PCI group and medical treatment group(3.8%vs.12.8%and 14.9%,respectively)(x^2=8.23&P=0.018).The SAQ scores of physical limitation,angina frequency,treatment satisfaction,and disease perception were significantly higher in the PCI group and CABG group than those in the medical treatment group(all P<0.05).No significant difference in the angina stability score was observed among the three groups(F=3.179,P=0.204).Conclusion:PCI an

Exercise-with-melatonin therapy has complementary and synergistic effects on spinal cord injury and Alzheimer’s disease, but its effect on stroke is still poorly understood. In this study, we established a rat model of ischemic stroke by occluding the middle cerebral artery for 60 minutes. We treated the rats with exercise and melatonin therapy for 7 consecutive days. Results showed that exercise-with-melatonin therapy significantly prolonged sleep duration in the model rats, increased delta power values, and regularized delta power rhythm. Additionally, exercise-with-melatonin therapy improved coordination, endurance, and grip strength, as well as learning and memory abilities. At the same time, it led to higher hippocampal CA1 neuron activity and postsynaptic density thickness and lower expression of glutamate receptor 2 than did exercise or melatonin therapy alone. These findings suggest that exercise-withmelatonin therapy can alleviate sleep disorder and motor dysfunction by increasing glutamate receptor 2 protein expression and regulating hippocampal CA1 synaptic plasticity.

Mitigating set-stuck failure in 3D phase change memory: substituting square pulses with surge pulses

In the devices that integrate phase change memory(PCM) and ovonic threshold switching(OTS),the OTS threshold voltage often surpasses the RESET operation voltage of PCM. The conventional application of square pulses hinders the successful completion of the SET operation in these integrated devices. To address this challenge, a novel pulse called the surge pulse is introduced, which comprises a high amplitude pulse for OTS activation and a low amplitude pulse for PCM operation. By employing COMSOL simulation,the operational effectiveness of both square pulses and surge pulses is validated. Test results reveal that using a square pulse to operate the integrated device accelerates the occurrence of SET-stuck failure(SSF).In contrast, the surge pulse enables the integrated device to operate for at least 1000 cycles while preserving the essential cyclic characteristics. Additionally, an investigation into the overshoot component of the surge pulse is conducted, revealing that an increase in overshoot amplitude and pulse width also accelerates the emergence of SSF. By applying the theory of ion migration induced by the electric field, the root cause of SSF in integrated devices is explained, and the accuracy of the theory is validated through the application of a reverse pulse. In summary, this study elucidates the rationality of replacing the square pulse with a surge pulse, presenting a superior approach for operating PCM and OTS integrated devices.

Background： Unfractionated heparin （UFH）, despite its limitations, has been used as the primary anticoagulant alternative during the percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI）. Some studies indicated that intravenous enoxaparin could be an effective and safe option. Our team used enoxaparin alone at one time according to the guidelines （Class IIA） and found a little catheter thrombosis during PCI. We recommend a new anticoagulation strategy using enoxaparin in combination with UFH. Enoxaparin has a more predictable anticoagulant response with no need of repeatedly monitoring anticoagulation during PCI. This retrospective study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of using enoxaparin in combination with UFH in PCI patients with complex coronary artery disease. Methods： Between January 2015 and April 2017, 600 PCI patients who received intravenous UFH at an initial dose of 3000 U plus intravenous enoxaparin at a dose of 0.75 mg/kg （observation group） and 600 PCI patients who received UFH at a dose of 100 U/kg （control group） were consecutively included in this retrospective study. The endpoints were postoperative 48-h thrombolysis in myocardial infarction （TIMI） bleeding and transfusion and 30-day and l-year major adverse cardio-cerebrovascular events （MACCE）. Results： Baseline clinical, angiographic, and procedural characteristics were similar between groups, except there was less stent implantation per patient in the observation group （2.13 vs. 2.25 in the control group, P = 0.002）. TIMI bleeding （3.3% vs. 4.7%） showed no significant difference between the observation group and control group. During the 30-day follow-up, the rate of MACCE was 0.9% in the observation group and 1.5% in the control group. There was no significant difference in the rates of MACCE, death, myocardial infarction, target vessel revascularization, cerebrovascular event, and angina within 30 days and 1 year after PC1 between groups as well as in the subgroup analysis of transfemoral approa
