The effect of nanodiamond content in electrolyte and rotational speed of the stirrer on the deposition rate of coatings, the nanodiamond content in coatings, the micro- structure and the micro-hardness of coatings were studicd. A self-made pin-on-disk tribo-meter was employed to evaluate the wear resistance of prepared coatings. Re- sults show that the thickness of composite coating decreases with the rotational speed, while the micro hardness of coating and the content of nanodiamond in coating increase with increasing its content in electrolyte. The wear resistance of the composite coating deposited in an electrolye with 6 g/L nanodiamond increases by 50% in contrast with the pure Ni-P coating.

Iron(Fe)deficient plants employ multiple strategies to increase root uptake and root-to-shoot translocation of *** identification of genes that are responsible for these processes,and a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory effects of transcriptional networks on their expression,including transcription factors(TFs),is underway in Arabidopsis ***,we show that a Histone-or heme-associated proteins(HAP)transcription factor(TF),HAP5A,is necessary for the response to Fe deficiency in *** ex-pression was induced under Fe deficiency,and the lack of HAP5A significantly decreased Fe translocation from the root to the shoot,resulting in substantial chlorosis of the newly expanded leaves,compared with the wild-type(WT,Col-0).Further analysis found that the expression of a gene encoding nicotianamine(NA)synthase(NAS1)was dramatically decreased in the hap5a mutant,regardless of the Fe ***-one-hybrid and ChIP analyses suggested that HAP5A directly binds to the promoter region of ***,overexpression of NAS1 could rescue the chlorosis phenotype of hap5a in Fe deficient *** summary,a novel pathway was elucidated,showing that NAS1-dependent translocation of Fe from the root to the shoot is controlled by HAP5A in Fe-deficient Arabidopsis thaliana.

Buoyancy material technology is of paramount importance for the development of marine engineering. In this study,a novel carbon fiber buoyancy material(CFBM) is designed and prepared by utilizing composite circular tubes with light weight and high strength. To reveal the failure mechanism under hydrostatic pressure, a finite element model(FEM) based on the three-dimensional Hashin and Yeh failure criterion is developed and validated experimentally. Both the simulated and experimental results indicate that the hydrostatic strength of the CFBM is mainly determined by the buckling of carbon fiber tubes located at the edges of the CFBM. Parametric analysis is conducted to investigate the effect of the number of unit-cells,length, and wall thickness of carbon fiber tubes on the mechanical properties of the CFBM. In addition, a 60-day water absorption test of the CFBM at 12.5 MPa is conducted to characterize its durability. Experimental results indicate that the maximum water absorption rate of the CFBM is 0.59% and the hydrostatic strength is reduced by only 7.97% during the 60-day test period. Finally, the designed CFBM is used at the water depth of 1000 m as buoyancy material. Compared with traditional buoyancy materials, the proposed CFBM has significant advantages in both hydrostatic strength and density. This work has broad engineering application prospects and is of high significance for promoting the implementation of carbon fiber composites in the ocean engineering field.

The skin is the largest organ of the *** establishment of immunological memory in the skin is a crucial component of the adaptive immune *** naive T cells are activated by antigen-presenting cells,a small fraction of them differentiate into precursor memory T *** precursor cells ultimately develop into several subsets of memory T cells,including central memory T(TCM)cells,effector memory T(TEM)cells,and tissue resident memory T(TRM)*** cells have a unique transcriptional profile,and their most striking characteristics are their long-term survival(longevity)and low migration in peripheral tissues,including the *** physiological conditions,TRM cells that reside in the skin can respond rapidly to pathogenic ***,there is emerging evidence to support the vital role of TRM cells in the recurrence of chronic inflammatory skin disorders,including psoriasis,vitiligo,and fixed drug eruption,under pathological or uncontrolled *** and characterizing the mechanisms that are involved in skin TRM cells will help provide promising strategies for reducing the frequency and magnitude of skin inflammation ***,we discuss recent insights into the generation,homing,retention,and survival of TRM cells and share our perspectives on the biological characteristics of TRM cells in the recurrence of inflammatory skin disorders.

Stimulated adiabatic passage has been extensively studied to achieve robust and selective population transfer in quantum systems. Recently, the quantum-classic analogy has been rapidly developing and can be considered responsible for the implementation of the adiabatic transfer of sound energy in cavity chain systems. In this article, we investigate the adiabatic transfer of sound energy between two topological end states in the Su-Schrieffer-Heeger(SSH) cavity chain, which can be considered to be the acoustic analog of the quantum chirped-pulse excitation. The topological adiabatic passage in SSH cavity chain has two categories. When the single-cavity resonance frequencies on the sublattices A and B in the SSH cavity chain do not switch their spectrum positions, the topologically protected adiabatic evolution results in the returning passage of the sound excited in one end cavity. When a level crossing with single-cavity resonance frequencies on the sublattices A and B exhibits switch in the frequency spectrum, acoustic energy is observed to be topologically pumped between the two end cavities of the SSH chain.

In order to establish an effective wireless communication system in an underground coal-mine environment, the propagation of radio waves through a rectangular-like mine tunnel was investigated by jointly, considering both the dielectric constant and the reflectance of a mine tunnel. By combining free space and modified waveguide propagation models, we propose a new hybrid propagation model based on ray tracing. Simulation results have shown the effectiveness of establishing a wireless Local Area Network (LAN) in this coal-mine environment. The results of this research will be very useful as a guide in the design and development of tunnel wireless LAN systems.

Posterior Cramér-Rao Bounds for Nonlinear Dynamic System with Colored Noises

A mean squared error lower bound for the discrete-time nonlinear filtering with colored noises is derived based on the posterior version of the Cramér-Rao inequality. The colored noises are characterized by the auto-regressive model including the auto-correlated process noise and autocorrelated measurement noise simultaneously. Moreover, the proposed lower bound is also suitable for a general model of nonlinear high order auto-regressive systems. Finally, the lower bound is evaluated by a typical example in target tracking. It shows that the new lower bound can assess the achievable performance of suboptimal filtering techniques, and the colored noise has a significantly effect on the lower bound and the performance of filters.
