Exploring efficient and nonprecious metal electrocatalysts of oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is crucial for developing rechargeable zinc-air batteries(ZABs).Herein,an alloying-degree control strategy was employed to fabricate nitrogen-doped carbon sphere(NCS)decorated with dual-phase Co/Co_(7)Fe_(3)heterojunctions(CoFe@NCS).The phase composition of materials has been adjusted by controlling the alloying *** optimal CoFe_(0.08)@NCS electrocatalyst displays a half-wave potential of 0.80 V for ORR and an overpotential of 283 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2)for OER in an alkaline *** intriguing bifunctional electrocatalytic activity and durability is attributed to the hierarchically porous structure and interfacial electron coupling of highly-active Co_(7)Fe_(3)alloy and metallic Co *** the CoFe_(0.08)@NCS material is used as air-cathode catalyst of rechargeable liquid-state zinc-air battery(ZAB),the device shows a high peak power-density(157 mW·cm^(-2))and maintains a stable voltage gap over 150 h,outperforming those of the benchmark(Pt/C+RuO_(2))-based *** particular,the as-fabricated solid-state flexible ZAB delivers a reliable compatibility under different bending *** work provides a promising strategy to develop metal/alloy-based electrocatalysts for the application in renewable energy conversion technologies.

X-ray detectors which convert X-ray irradiation into electrical signals play an important role in diverse applications including medical diagnosis, security examination, nondestructive inspection, personal X-ray dosimeters and fundamental research[1–5]. Recent years have witnessed significant progress in image-based 3D face reconstruction using deep convolutional neural ***,current reconstruction methods often perform improperly in self-occluded regions and can lead to inaccurate correspondences between a 2D input image and a 3D face template,hindering use in real *** address these problems,we propose a deep shape reconstruction and texture completion network,SRTC-Net,which jointly reconstructs 3D facial geometry and completes texture with correspondences from a single input face *** SRTC-Net,we leverage the geometric cues from completed 3D texture to reconstruct detailed structures of 3D *** SRTC-Net pipeline has three *** first introduces a correspondence network to identify pixel-wise correspondence between the input 2D image and a 3D template model,and transfers the input 2D image to a U-V texture *** we complete the invisible and occluded areas in the U-V texture map using an inpainting *** get the 3D facial geometries,we predict coarse shape(U-V position maps)from the segmented face from the correspondence network using a shape network,and then refine the 3D coarse shape by regressing the U-V displacement map from the completed U-V texture map in a pixel-to-pixel *** examine our methods on 3D reconstruction tasks as well as face frontalization and pose invariant face recognition tasks,using both in-the-lab datasets(MICC,MultiPIE)and in-the-wild datasets(CFP).The qualitative and quantitative results demonstrate the effectiveness of our methods on inferring 3D facial geometry and complete texture;they outperform or are comparable to the state-of-the-art.

Over the past decade, biopolymers have gained great interests especially in biomedicine due to their physical properties and/or chemical structures changes in response to external stimuli in a certain time fiarne or at a specific location. Among them, poly（β-amino ester）s, methacrylate-based block copolymers and polypeptide with tertiary amine groups have been extensively studied and exhibit pH sensitive properties due to the protonation of tertiary amine groups. The pH values in normal organs, tissues, and subcellular compartments are always different from those in pathological tissues. These interesting properties allow their applications in a variety of fields ranging from diagnosis and therapeutics of diseases. Here, we review the recent progress of poly（β-amino ester）s, methacrylate-based block copolymers and polypeptide with tertiary amine groups and their applications in drug delivery and bioimaging.

Tunable light–matter interactions are exhibited by organic low-dimensional crystals, making these crystals a promising platform for organic photonics. However, the precise synthesis of organic low-dimensional crystals remains challenging due to the stochastic nature of molecular nucleation processes. Herein, the directed nucleation process is driven by the introduction of metastable seed-crystals as the trunk, which ultimately leads to branched-array organic heterostructures. The successful formation of organic heterostructures with high-density branched arrays is attributed to the highest attachment energy (Eatt（023）=-104.25 kcal mol-1) of the exposed （023） crystal plane during the seed-crystal growth route. Significantly, these as-prepared heterostructures inherently have an ultralow lattice mismatch ratio η of 0.7%between trunk and branch, which contributes to the multi-channel photon transportation. Therefore, this work provides valuable insights into a versatile synthetic strategy for accessing low-dimensional heterostructures for integrated optoelectronics.

Dear Editor,We report a case of recurrence after spontaneous separation of epiretinal membrane (ERM) in a young woman with suspected retinal *** is defined as the fibrocellular membrane that proliferates on the inner surface of neurosensory retina at the macular *** ERM(iERM) usually occurs without a clearly identifiable cause in patients of more than 50 years of age and a great discrepancy in its prevalence from 1.02%to 28.9%among different ethnic groups were noted in previous epidemiologic studies^([1-3]).

With sustainable development of biotechnology,increasing attention has been placed on utilization of solid-state fermented feed(SFF).Solid-state fermented feed has been a candidate strategy to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of feed resources,ensure food hygiene safety,promoting energy conservation,and emission *** production of SFF,a variety of organic acids,enzymes,vitamins,peptides,and other unknown growth factors are produced,which could affect performance of ***-state fermented feed produced by different fermentation techniques has great instability on different physiological stages of different animals,which hinders the application and standardized production of ***,we summarize the current advances in the role of the characteristics of SFF prepared by different manufacturing technique and its research progress in animal experiments on growth performance,gastrointestinal ecology,and immune system,so as to provide references for further acquiring a relatively perfect set of SFF production and evaluation systems.

BACKGROUND Tumor-to-tumor metastasis(TTM)is an uncommon *** a few cases of renal cell carcinoma(RCC)as donor tumor of TTM have been reported in literature,and none of these studies have described RCC metastasizing to synchronous pheochromocytoma(PCC).CASE SUMMARY The patient was a 54-year-old woman who presented with recurrent dull abdominal pain for six months,which was further aggravated for one more *** computed tomography revealed a tumor mass in the right kidney and another mass in the left retroperitoneum/adrenal *** and immunochemistry of resected specimens confirmed the diagnosis of clear cell renal cell carcinoma(CCRCC)of the right kidney,and the left retroperitoneum revealed a typical PCC with CCRCC *** exome sequencing revealed the presence of a c.529A>T somatic mutation of the Von Hippel Lindau(VHL)gene in the metastasized CCRCC,which was also present in the primary right kidney CCRCC,as confirmed by Sanger *** VHL mutation was detected in the PCC or in normal right kidney *** in situ hybridization revealed loss of chromosome 3p in both the primary right kidney CCRCC and CCRCC metastasized to PCC in the left *** This is the first case showing metastasis of CCRCC to PCC,thus leading to tumorto-tumor metastasis.
