A CFD simulation is performed for a particle-laden planar jet *** Reynolds number is 8300,and the initial particle diameter is 1 μ*** Eddy Simulation（LES） is employed to calculate the flow field,and the Taylor-series expansion moment method（TEMOM） is adopted to deal with the balance equation of particle coagulation and *** shear-induced coagulation kernel,power-law breakage kernel and symmetric fragment distribution function are *** prediction of the distribution of the mean streamwise velocity of the jet is in good agreement with experimental *** evolution of particle number concentration,volume concentration,polydispersity,particle diameter and standard geometric deviation is discussed in *** results show that as the jet travels downstream,the particle number concentration and volume concentration decrease,while their spans become *** polydispersity and particle diameter are very large in the shear layers at the upstream and in the core of vortex structures at the *** particle standard geometric deviation changes within the range of 1.32 ≤σg≤ 1.96,and increases sharply in the shear *** variables approach the steady-state as time progresses.

Single-atom catalysts have risen significant attention in the realm of green electrocatalytic energy conversion to address energy and environmental sustainability challenges. Transition metal dichalcogenide（TMD）-based single-atom catalysts are considered highly effective in electrocatalysis due to the TMDs' notable specific surface area, tunable elemental species and efficient utilization of single atoms. In order to enhance electrocatalytic performance, it is imperative to elaborately engineer the local environment surrounding the active sites of single atoms within TMDs. In this review, we initially explore the effects of synthesis methods on single-atom active sites and the influence of loading of single atoms on catalytic performance for TMDs. The modulation strategies of the local environment surrounding single-atom sites in TMDs are elaborated, including substitution engineering,surface adsorption, vacancies, spatial confinement and dual-atom site strategies. For each modulation strategy, the effects of diverse local environments on various electrocatalytic applications are presented, such as the oxygen evolution reaction, oxygen reduction reaction, nitrogen reduction reaction, CO2reduction reaction and CO oxidation. Ultimately, this study presents a comprehensive overview of the challenges encountered and the potential directions for the advancement of single-atom catalysts based on TMDs in the realm of electrocatalysis.

In this study, we investigate the pseudospectrum and spectrum(in)stability of quantum corrected Schwarzschild black ***, we use the hyperboloidal framework to cast the quasinormal mode(QNM) problem into an eigenvalue problem associated with a non-selfadjoint operator, and then the spectrum and pseudospectrum are depicted. Besides, the invariant subspace method is exploited to improve the computational efficiency for pseudospectrum. The investigation into the spectrum(in)stability entails two main aspects. On the one hand, we calculate the spectra of the quantum corrected black hole, then by the means of the migration ratio, the impact of the quantum correction effect on the Schwarzschild black hole has been *** results indicate that the so-called “migration ratio instability” will occur for small black holes with small angular momentum number l. In the eikonal limit, the migration ratios remain the same for each overtone. On the other hand, we study the spectrum(in)stability of the quantum corrected black hole by directly adding some particular perturbations into the effective potential,where perturbations are located at the event horizon and null infinity, respectively. There are two interesting observations under the same perturbation energy norm. First, perturbations at infinity are more capable of generating spectrum instability than those at the event horizon. Second, we find that the peak distribution can lead to the instability of QNM spectrum more efficiently than the average distribution.

Background The critical roles of polyamines in cell growth and differentiation have made polyamJne metabolic pathway a promising target for antitumor therapy. Recent studies have demonstrated in vitro that some antitumor polyamine analogues could be used as substrates and oxidized by purified recombinant human N^1-acetylpolyamine oxidase （APAO, an enzyme that catabolizes natural poiyamines）, indicating a potential role of APAO in determining the sensitivity of cancer cells to specific antitumor analogues. This study evaluated, in vivo, the effect of APAO on cytotoxicity of antitumor polyamine analogue, N^1-cyclopropylmethyl-N^11-ethylnorspermine （CPENS） and its mechanism when highly expressed in human lung cancer line A549. Methods A clone with high expression of APAO was obtained by transfecting A549 lung cancer ceil line with pcDNA3.1/APAO plasmid and selecting with quantitative realtime PCR and APAO activity assay. Cell proliferation was determined by MTT method and apoptosis related events were evaluated by DNA fragmentation, sub-G1/flow cytometric assay, western blotting （for cytochrome C and Bax） and colorimetric assay （for casapse-3 activity）. Results A clone highly expressing APAO was obtained. High expression of APAO in A549 cells inhibited accumulation of CPENS, decreased their sensitivity to the toxicity of CPENS and prevented CPENS induced apoptosis. Conclusion These results indicate a new drug resisting, mechanism in the tumor cells. High expression of APAO can greatly decrease the sensitivity of tumor cells to the specific polyamine analogues by detoxifying those analogues and prevent analogue induced apoptosis.

Developing functional additive resistant to space atomic oxygen(AO)irradiation through simple molecular design and chemical synthesis to enhance the lubricating performance of multialkylated cyclopentanes(MACs)oil is a significant ***,sulfur-containing polyhedral oligomere silsesquioxane(POSS)were synthesize via a click-chemistry reaction of octavinyl polyhedral oligomeric with alkyl *** reduce-friction(RF),anti-wear(AW)properties and anti-AO irradiation of POSS-S-R as MACs base oil additives in atmospheric and simulated space environments were systematically investigated for the first *** demonstrate that POSS-S-R not only possesses outstanding anti-AO irradiation capacity but also effectively improves the RF and AW of MACs in atmospheric or simulated space *** improvement is due to the excellent anti-AO irradiation properties of the POSS structure itself and the high load-carrying ability of silicon-containing and sulfur-containing compounds generated by tribo-chemical reactions,which effectively separates the direct contact of the friction *** believe that this synthesized POSS-S-R is a promising additive for space lubricants.
