Fabrication of single atom catalysts(SACs)by a green and gentle method is important for their practical Fenton-like *** this work,a high effective iron-based catalyst was prepared from the iron-rich Enteromorpha for NPX degradation via peroxymonosulfate(PMS).Both Fe-SACs and iron-clusters was fabricated from the intrinsic iron element in Enteromorpha after the urea *** Fe-SACs/clusters can achieve 100%of NPX oxidation within 20 min with the k_(obs)of 0.282 min^(-1).Quenching tests indicated that the radical pathways were not dominated in the catalytic systems,and strong electron transfer process can be induced in the Fe-SACs/clusters+PMS system by using the NPX as electron donor and FeSACs/clusters/PMS^*complexes as electron *** result was consistent with the phenomenon observed in the galvanic oxidation *** addition,the Fe-SACs/clusters was deposited onto the ceramic membrane(CM)by the spraying-crosslinking process to form a Fe-SACs/clusters@CM,which showed an effective and continuous NPX degradation in a heterogeneous PMS system.

Carbon emissions associated with buildings are a major source of urban emissions. To put forward the methods and strategies to curb carbon emissions from urban building stock, it is not only necessary to establish a carbon emission calculation method for fine statistical analysis, but also to evaluate carbon emissions of urban planning schemes with applicable indexes. Currently,researches mainly focus on carbon emissions of individual buildings. When expanded to urban building stock, the calculation faces the lack of basic data, inadequate spatial analysis and unspecific carbon reduction indexes. Therefore, this study proposes a bottom-up calculation method for urban building stock, conducts spatial analysis based on carbon balance of urban grids, reveals the coupling mechanism between urban carbon reduction indexes and grid carbon emissions, and systematically establishes a carbon-reduction-oriented urban planning method that comprises calculation, analysis and evaluation, which is applied to Xi'an,China. This study provides a theoretical reference for cities to formulate carbon reduction targets and implement planning strategies by evaluating and predicting carbon emissions from urban building stock.

Organic polymer coatings have been commonly used in biomedical field,which play an important role in achieving biological antifouling,drug delivery,and *** the continuous development of polymer science,organic polymer coatings can be designed with complex and advanced functions,which is conducive to the construction of biomedical materials with different *** to different physical and chemical properties of materials,biomedical organic polymer coating materials are classified into zwitterionic polymers,non-ionic polymers,and *** strategies of combining coatings with substrates include physical adsorption,chemical grafting,and *** the coating materials and construction methods are different,many biomedical polymer coatings have been developed to achieve excellent performances,i.e.,enhanced lubrication,anti-inflammation,antifouling,antibacterial,drug release,anti-encrustation,anti-thrombosis,***,a large number of biomedical polymer coatings have been used in artificial lungs,ureteral stent,vascular flow diverter,and artificial *** this review,we summarize different types,properties,construction methods,biological functions,and clinical applications of biomedical organic polymer coatings,and prospect future direction for development of organic polymer coatings in biomedical *** is anticipated that this review can be useful for the design and synthesis of functional organic polymer coatings with various biomedical purposes.

Owing to severe agglomeration of manganese carbonate（MnCO3） during its synthesis,it exhibits rapid decay cycle performance when used as a cathode material in aqueous zinc ion *** overcome this drawback,we synthesized a MnCO3material with carbon nanotubes（CNTs）(i.e.,MnCO3@CNTs) via a one-step solvothermal method using a hybrid modification ***3nanospheres were grown in-situ on a two-dimensional（2D） plane that was orderly interwoven by tubular single fibers of carbon to form a leaf-like nanosheet *** surface area of the MnCO3@CNTs material was enlarged enormously through the special nanosheet structure,and its stability was improved by the supporting structure of the *** a result,the MnCO3@CNTs exhibited a discharge capacity of 247.6 mAh g-1at a current density of 0.1 A *** energy storage mechanism of MnCO3@CNTs was further explored using a series of electrochemical kinetic analyses and ex-situ characterization *** modification method not only broadens the application field of MnCO3,but also provides the possibility of modifying more cathode materials.

Electrochemical converting NO_(2)^(-)into NH_(3)(NO_(2)RR)holds an enormous prospect to attain efficient NH_(3) electrosynthesis and polluted NO_(2)^(-)***,we report single-atom Co alloyed Ru(Co_(1)Ru)as an efficient and durable NO_(2)RR *** experimental and theoretical investigations reveal that single-atom Co alloying of Ru enables the construction of Co_(1)-Ru heteronuclear active sites to synergistically promote NO_(2)^(-)activation/hydrogenation while suppressing the competitive H_(2) evolution,rendering the greatly enhanced activity and selectivity of Co_(1)Ru towards the NO_(2)***,Co_(1)Ru assembled within a flow cell exhibits an impressive NH_(3) yield rate of 2379.2μmol·h^(-1)·cm^(-2) with an NH_(3)-Faradaic efficiency of 92%at a high current density of 415.9 mA·cm^(-2),which is among the highest NO_(2)RR performances reported to date.

Neurotoxicity of tetramethylammonium ion on larval and juvenile zebrafish:Effects on neurobehaviors and multiple biomarkers

Tetramethylammonium hydroxide(TMAH)is an important compound that utilized and released by the rapidly expanding semiconductor industry,which could hardly be removed by the conventional wastewater treatment *** a cholinergic agonist,the tetramethylammonium ion(TMA^(+))has been reported to induce toxicity to muscular and respiratory systems of mammals and human,however the toxicity on aquatic biota remains poorly *** investigated the neurotoxic effects of TMA^(+)exposure on zebrafish,based on neurobehavior tests and a series of *** inhibitions on the swimming distance of zebrafish larvae were observed when the exposure level exceeded 50 mg/L,and significant alterations on swimming path angles(straight and deflective movements)occurred even at 10 mg/*** tested neurobehavioral endpoints of zebrafish larvae were significantly positively correlated with reactive oxygen species(ROS)and malondialdehyde(MDA),significantly negatively related with the activities of antioxidant enzymes,but not significantly correlated with the level of acetylcholinesterase(AChE).Such relationship indicates that the observed neurotoxic effects on swimming behavior of zebrafish larvae is mainly driven by oxidative stress,rather than the alterations of *** the highest exposure concentration(200 mg/L),TMA^(+)evoked more severe toxicity on zebrafish juveniles,showing significantly stronger elevation on the MDA activity,and greater inhibitions on the activities of antioxidant enzymes and ACh E,suggesting juveniles were more susceptible to TMA^(+)exposure than larval zebrafish.

Antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)might have great effect on ecological security and human *** are important reservoirs that receive tremendous amounts of pollutants ***,information on the proliferation of ARGs in seawater is still *** study performed field sampling to investigate the occurrence and distribution of ARGs in seawater of the South China Sea,which is the deepest and largest sea in *** results showed that the total absolute abundances of ARGs in seawater samples ranged from 2.1×10^(3)to 2.3×10^(4)copies/mL,with an of 5.0×10^(3)copies/mL and a range of 2.2×10^(3)–1.8×10^(4)copies/mL for those with mobile genetic elements(MGEs).Genes resistant to multidrug,aminoglycoside,tetracycline,and fluoroquinolone antibiotics accounted for 77.3%–88.6%of total ARGs in *** and Cyanobacteria represented 32.1%–56.2%and 30.4%–49.5%of microbial community,***_MIT9313 and Clade_la were the prevalent genera in seawater of the South China *** co-occurrence relationship existed among ARGs,MGEs,and *** activities had critical influence on ARGs and *** wastewater,wastewater treatment plant effluent,sewage,aquaculture tailwater,and runoff were determined as the important sources of ARGs in seawater of the South China Sea based on positive matrix factorization analysis.

C_(6)F_(12)O is proposed to be one potential eco-friendly insulation gas to replace ***,the assessment of its decomposition properties and the compatibility with metal electrodes in discharge faults is still challenging,which greatly hinders the development of its insulation and arc-extinction ***,a theoretical method is proposed to reasonably address the discharge effects on C_(6)F_(12)O decomposition over typical Cu and Al electrodes at atomic *** results show that both the external electric field and the excess electrons could affect the activation of C_(6)F_(12)O by changing the electron acceptance of C_(6)F_(12)O and the orbital hybridisation during the surface *** metal surfaces,the C-F single bond in adsorbed C_(6)F_(12)O is the weakest position to decompose,and its cleavage could be promoted by the discharge *** the C-F breaking,the C-C cleavage remains unfavourable on Cu(111),but it is significantly promoted on Al(111),indicating a higher corrosion risk on the Al surface via continuous C_(6)F_(12)O *** proposed method as a valid supplement to the experiment reveals the discharge effects and the decomposition tendency of C_(6)F_(12)O on metal electrodes in discharge faults,which broadens the means for insulation gas evaluation.

The Chaobai River Basin,which is a crucial ecological barrier and primary water source area within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,possesses substantial ecological *** gross ecosystem product(GEP)in the Chaobai River Basin is a reflection of ecosystem conditions and quantifies nature’s contributions to humanity,which provides a basis for basin ecosystem service management and *** study investigated the spatiotemporal evolution of GEP in the upper Chaobai River Basin and explored the driving factors influencing GEP spatial *** patterns from 2005 to 2020 were analyzed,and GEP was calculated for 2005,2010,2015,and *** driving factors influencing GEP spatial differentiation were identified using the optimal parameter-based geographical detector(OPGD)*** key findings are as follows:(1)From 2005 to 2020,the main ecosystem types were forest,grassland,and *** areas experienced significant changes,and conversions mainly occurred among urban,water,grassland and agricultural ecosystems.(2)Temporally,the GEP in the basin increased from 2005 to 2020,with regulation services *** the county(district)scale,GEP exhibited a north-west-high and south-east-low pattern,showing spatial differences between per-unit-area GEP and county(district)GEP,while the spatial variations in per capita GEP and county(district)GEP were similar.(3)Differences in the spatial distribution of GEP were influenced by regional natural geographical and socioeconomic *** these factors,gross domestic product,population density,and land-use degree density contributed *** among different driving forces noticeably impacted GEP spatial *** findings underscore the necessity of incorporating factors such as population density and the intensity of land-use development into ecosystem management decision-making processes in the upper reaches of the Chaobai River *** policies
