BACKGROUND Portal shunt and immune status related to the spleen are related to the occurrence of hepatic encephalopathy(HE).It is unknown whether spleen volume before transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS)is related to postoperative *** To investigate the relationship between spleen volume and the occurrence of *** This study included 135 patients with liver cirrhosis who underwent TIPS,and liver and spleen volumes were elevated upon computed tomography *** Kaplan-Meier curve was used to compare the difference in the incidence rate of HE among patients with different spleen *** and multivariate Cox regression analyses were performed to identify the factors affecting overt HE(OHE).Restricted cubic spline was used to examine the shapes of the dose-response association between spleen volumes and OHE *** The results showed that 37(27.2%)of 135 patients experienced OHE during a 1-year follow-up *** with preoperative spleen volume(901.30±471.90 cm3),there was a significant decrease in spleen volume after TIPS(697.60±281.0 cm^(3))in OHE *** the severity of OHE increased,the spleen volume significantly decreased(Pline model showed that with an increasing spleen volume,OHE risk showed an initial increase and then decrease(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Spleen volume is related to the occurrence of OHE after *** spleen volume is an independent risk factor for post-TIPS OHE.

近年来鄱阳湖的微塑料环境污染日益受到关注.选取鄱阳湖白沙湖为研究区,采集白沙湖水体和沉积物以及其中的微塑料样品,通过傅里叶红外光谱确定微塑料的聚合物类型为聚乙烯(PE)、聚酯纤维(PET)、聚丙烯(PP)和聚苯乙烯(PS).并利用16S高通量测序技术分析水体、沉积物中和微塑料表面细菌群落结构组成.微塑料表面细菌的物种丰富度与多样性均低于周围水体和沉积物.NMDS分析结果表明,微塑料表面与周围沉积物、水体中的细菌群落结构差异较大.水体和沉积物中的细菌群落组成与微塑料表面存在差异,门水平上沉积物与沉积物中微塑料表面优势菌门为变形菌门(Proteobacteria)和拟杆菌门(Bacteroidota),其在微塑料表面相对丰度高于沉积物;水体中微塑料表面变形菌门相对丰度高于水体,而拟杆菌门、放线菌门(Actinobacteriota)的相对丰度明显低于水体.属水平上马赛菌属(Massilia)和假单胞菌属(Pseudomonas)是微塑料表面的优势菌属,相对丰度明显高于周围水体和沉积物.通过BugBase表型预测发现微塑料细菌群落可移动基因元件含量、生物膜形成、潜在致病性及胁迫耐受等表型相对丰度明显高于周围水体和沉积物.结果发现微塑料可能会促使致病菌在内的有害菌的传播,提高细菌群落的潜在致病性,且微塑料表面细菌群落具有更高的可移动基因元件含量表型.通过揭示微塑料污染对微观层面湿地生态的潜在危害,可为维护湿地生态稳定性提供科学参考.

目的探究瑞格列奈联合格列本脲治疗妊娠期糖尿病(GDM)的效果及对血清空腹血糖(FBG)、餐后2 h血糖(2 hPG)和中性粒细胞明胶酶相关脂质运载蛋白(NGAL)的影响。方法选取2020年1月—2023年1月海南现代妇女儿童医院收治的GDM患者112例,以随机数字表法分为对照组(格列本脲治疗)和观察组(瑞格列奈联合格列本脲治疗),每组56例。比较两组治疗前后糖代谢指标[FBG、2 hPG、糖化血红蛋白(HbA1c)]和NGAL、同型半胱氨酸(Hcy)、胱抑素C(CysC)、Irisin、人源甘丙肽(GAL)水平,统计两组母婴结局。结果观察组治疗前后FBG、2 hPG和HbA1c的差值均高于对照组(P0.05);观察组早产儿、新生儿低血糖症的发生率均低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论瑞格列奈联合格列本脲治疗可有效控制GDM患者血糖水平,下调血清NGAL、Hcy、CysC和GAL水平,上调血清Irisin水平,改善胰岛素抵抗,且安全性高,值得临床推荐。

Modeling of air quality with a modified two-dimensional Eulerian model: A case study in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region of China

A modified two-dimensional Eulerian air quality model was used to simulate both the gaseous and particulate pollutant concentrations during October 21-24, 2004 in the Pearl River Delta （PRD） region, China. The most significant improvement to the model is the added capability to predict the secondary organic aerosols （SOA） concentrations because of the inclusion of the SOA formation chemistry. The meteorological input data were prepared using the CALMET meteorological model. The concentrations of aerosol-bound species such as NO3^-, NH4^＋, SO4^2-, and SOA were calculated in the fine particle size range （〈2.5 μm）. The results of the two-dimensional model were compared to the measurements at the ground level during the PRD Intensive Monitoring Campaign （IMC）. Overall, there were good agreements between the measured and modeled concentrations of inorganic aerosol components and O3. Both the measured and the modeled results indicated that the maximum hourly O3 concentrations exceeded the China National Air Quality Standard. The predicted 24-h average SOA concentrations were in reasonable agreement with those predicted by the method of minimum OC/EC ratio.

Chemical additives affect sulfate reducing bacteria biofilm properties adsorbed on stainless steel 316L surface in circulating cooling water system

This paper studied the biofilm properties and corrosion behavior of sulfate reducing bacteria （SRB） on stainless steel 316L （SS316L） surface in circulating cooling water system with and without additives including hydroxy ethyl fork phosphonic acid （HEDP）, dodecyl dimethyl benzyl anunonium chlotide （1227） and NaClO. Biochemical technique, electrochemical technology, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） and scanning electron microscope （SEM） were used. The results show that the extracellular polymeric substance （EPS） in biofilm attached on the SS316L surface mainly contain proteins and polysaccharides, the contents are 98 ***-2 and ***-2, respectively. The polysaccharides were cut by 1227 about 80%, while 55% by NaCIO. The proteins were reduced by NaCIO about 53%, while only 30% by 1227. The potentiodynamic polarization shows that the corrosion potential of SS316L was enhanced from -0.495 V to -0.390 V by the chemical additive delaying the occurrence of the corrosion. And the corrosion rate was also reduced from 5.19 × 10^-3 mm·a^-1 to 2.42 × 10^-3 mm＇a . But NaCIO stdl caused pitting corrosion after stenhzmg the bacteria, while 1227 can form a protective film on the surface of SS316L. Though HEDP contribute to the bacteria activity, it can enhance the breakdown potential. XPS results confirmed that 1227 can change the value of C：O in the biofilm attached on metal surface, and NaCIO can eliminate the existence of amidogen. This study would provide some recommendations for the selection of chemical additives in the thermal power plant.

Empirical likelihood for AR-ARCH Models Based on LAD Estimation

By employing the empirical likelihood method, confidence regions for the stationary AR（p）-ARCH（q） models are constructed. A self-weighted LAD estimator is proposed under weak moment conditions. An empirical log-likelihood ratio statistic is derived and its asymptotic distribution is obtained. Simulation studies show that the performance of empirical likelihood method is better than that of normal approximation of the LAD estimator in terms of the coverage accuracy, especially for relative small size of observation.

Synthesis and Photo-acid Generation of a Novel Bis(trichloromethyl)-1,3,5-triazine

A new environmentally friendly photo-acid generator（PAG）, 1-{4＇-[4,6-bis（trichloromethyl）-1,3,5-triazin- 2-yl] [ 1, 1＇-biphenyl]-4-yl}-O-acetyloxime ethanone（TZ4） consisting of both an oxime ester group and a triazine group was designed and synthesized. From the measurements of absorption, fluorescence and the photo-acid generation, it was found that the novel PAG has an excellent radical-generating efficiency. And the other three bis-（trichloromethyl） triazine derivatives 2-[2-（4-methoxyphenyl）ethenyl]-4,6-bis（trichloromethyl）-l,3,5-triazine（TZ1）, 2-[2-（3,4-dimethoxyphenyl）ethenyl]-4,6-bis（trichloromethyl）-1,3,5-triazine（TZ2） and 2-（1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl）-4,6-bis（trichloromethyl）-1,3,5-triazine（TZ3） were synthesized and studied in this work. In the acid measurement, the acid-forming performance of S-triazinyl derivatives was evaluated by the method ascertained in our laboratory. The results indicate that the novel triazine has the better acid-forming performance that subsequently catalyzes the deblocking of a protecting group in copolymers.

Spermatozoal protein profiles in male infertility with asthenozoospermia

Background Infertility is a major medical and social problem, and elementary research on the spermatozoal proteins and their functions are relatively scarce and there are very few confirmed and effective options for the treatment of male infertility. Thus, it is essential to find candidate proteins that affect male infertility. This study was designed to detect the proteins with differential expression in sperm from infertile patients and normal *** Semen samples from patients with idiopathic asthenozoospermia （n=114） and from fertile men with normal spermiograms （n=37） were collected. Semen sample analysis, sperm protein extraction, SDS-PAGE electrophoresis and Western blotting analysis were performed. Results were analyzed by SPSS 16.0 statistical *** Western blotting analysis of spermatic proteins displayed a major differentially expressed protein in spermatozoa from fertile and idiopathic asthenozoospermia patients. Densities and volumes of the identified protein in the patients were significantly decreased compared to normal donors （P=0.034 and P=0.036, respectively）. The protein was identified as DEAD-box protein 4 （DDX4, VASA）. The expression and correction value （CV） of DDX4/VASA in the patients was reduced significantly compared to normal donors （P=0.037 and P=0.031, respectively）.Conclusions The expression of spermatic protein DDX4/VASA associates with spermatic motility, implying that DDX4NASA may be a candidate marker for evaluation of spermatic motility.

Effect of Azoxystrobin on Oxygen Consumption and cyt b Gene Expression of Colletotrichum capsici from Chilli Fruits

Azoxystrobin acts as an inhibitor of electron transport by binding to the Qo center of cytochrome b （cyt b）. Resistance to azoxystrobin was usually caused by the point mutation of cyt b gene or by the induction of alternative respiration. Oxygen consumption test for mycelia of Colletotrichum capsici showed that azoxystrobin inhibited mycelial respiration within 12 h; however, as time went on, the respiration of the mycelia recovered when the mycelia were treated with azoxystrobin and salicylhydroxamic acid （SHAM, a known inhibitor of alternative respiration）, and the oxygen consumption of the mycelia could not be inhibited. Meanwhile, cytochrome b （cyt b） gene expression increased with the recovery of mycelial respiration. The increased cyt b gene expression might play a role in the development of resistance to azoxystrobin in C. capsici.
