The space-time monopole equation is the reduction of anti-self-dual Yang-Mills equations in R2,2 to R2,1. This equation is a non-linear wave equation, and can be encoded in a Lax pair. An equivalent Lax pair is used by Dai and Terng to construct monopoles with continuous scattering data, and then the equation can be linearized by the scattering data, allowing one to use the inverse scattering method to solve the Cauchy problem with rapidly decaying small initial data. In this paper, we use the terminology of holomorphic bundle and transversality of certain maps, parametrized by initial data, to give more initial data, with which we can use scattering method to solve the Cauchy problem of the monopole equation up to gauge transformation.

AIM：To assess the outcomes of various interventions for malignant glaucoma（MG）.·M ETHODS：A retrospective,comparative analysis of case series were performed on 38 eyes of 35 MG patients treated in Aier Eye Hospital of Wuhan between Jan.2009and *** treatments were administered including medical therapy,neodymium：yttriumaluminium-garnet（Nd：YAG）laser posterior capsulotomy and hyaloidotomy as well as 3 surgical *** characteristic,treatment option and outcome of MG in every individual patient were reviewed and analyzed among all patients who were followed up for an average of 27.1±9.1mo.·RESULTS：Four eyes of 3 patients achieved complete resolution with medical ***：YAG laser posterior capsulotomy and hyaloidotomy were performed on 2 eyes,both of which achieved resolution after initial ***-two eyes were given surgical treatments with anterior vitrectomy-reformation of anterior chamber in13 eyes,phacoemulsification-intraocular lens implantation in 10 eyes and phacoemulsification-intraocular lens implantation-anterior vitrectomy in 9 *** of MG was seen in almost all *** mean intraocular pressure decreased from 41.87±9.44 mm Hg at presentation to 15.84±3.73 mm Hg at the last *** mean anterior chamber depth improved from 0.28±0.27 mm to 2.28±0.19 *** eyes with preoperative visual acuity better than counting figure/50 cm had various visual *** occurred in 3 eyes of 3 patients including bleeding at the entry site of vitrectomy into vitreous cavity,corneal endothelial decompensation and allergic to atropine respectively.·CONCLUSION：MG occurs as a result of multiple mechanisms involved simultaneously or *** therapy is advocated as the initial treatment,laser therapy is beneficial in pseudophakic eyes,and different surgical regimen is recommended based on different pathogenesis of MG when non-response occurs to nonsurgical *** can be managed successfully by

Aiming at recovering iron from high-iron-content copper slag, this article introduced a combination technol- ogy of deep reduction and magnetic beneficiation, investigated the iron recovery efficiency and optimized the technical conditions. When coke powder with 86wt% fixed carbon was used as a reductant, iron was successfully extracted from the copper slag. Under the optimized condition of the coke powder content of 14wt%, the calcium-to-silicon mass ratio （Ca/Si） of 0.2, the roasting temperature of 1300℃, the roasting time of 3 h, the grinding time of 20 min, and the magnetic field intensity of 61 kA-m-1, the iron recovery rate of the copper slag can reach 91.82%, and the extracted iron powder has an iron grade of 96.21%. With the characteristics of high iron grade and low impurity content, the extracted iron powder can be used as high-quality raw materials of weathering steel.

CdTe/CdS quantum dots（QDs） are fabricated on Si nanowires（NWs） substrates with and without Au nanoparticles（NPs）. The formation of Au NPs on Si NWs can be certified as shown in scanning electron microscopy images. The optical properties of samples are also investigated. It is interesting to find that the photoluminescence（PL） intensity of Cd Te/Cd S QD films on Si nanowire substrates with Au NPs is significantly increased,which can reach 8-fold higher than that of samples on planar Si without Au NPs. The results of finite-difference time-domain simulation indicate that Au NPs induce stronger localization of electric field and then boost the PL intensity of QDs nearby. Furthermore, the time-resolved luminescence decay curve shows the PL lifetime, which is about 5.5 ns at the emission peaks of QD films on planar, increasing from 1.8 ns of QD films on Si NWs to4.7 ns after introducing Au NPs into Si NWs.

A systematic experimental study was conducted on the similarities and differences in the reactions between commonly used rare earth elements(REEs)and frequently used refractories in the steelmaking *** results indicate that the reaction behaviors of La,Ce,and Y with MgO,Al_(2)O_(3),and MgO·Al_(2)O_(3) crucibles differed *** consumption rates of La,Ce,and Y in the molten steel were in descending order of La>Ce>Y for smelting with all three kinds of *** the REEs reacted with the crucible,the contents of Mg and Al showed a trend of first increasing and then *** laboratory-scale smelting conditions,the reactions related to REEs were dominated by steel-crucible reactions,and the contact area between the unit mass of molten steel and refractory materials mainly determined the consumption rates of ***-and Ce-crucible reactions generated loose and porous reaction interfaces;however,Y-crucible reactions generated a dense Y_(2)O_(3) layer,dramatically suppressing the consumption rate of *** calculation indicated that the reactions between rare earth and different refractory materials were first-order *** crucible materials significantly affected the product type and morphology of the steel-crucible reaction interfaces,thereby influencing the consumption rate of *** reactions between REEs and refractories must be seriously considered,especially for small-scale smelting.

Mechanism of brittle-ductile transition of a glass-ceramic rigid substrate

The hardness, elastic modulus, and scratch resistance of a glass-ceramic rigid substrate were measured by nanoindentation and nanoscratch, and the fracture toughness was measured by indentation using a Vickers indenter. The results show that the hardness and elastic modulus at a peak indentation depth of 200 nm are 9.04 and 94.70 GPa, respectively. These values reflect the properties of the glass-ceramic rigid substrate. The fracture toughness value of the glass-ceramic rigid substrate is 2.63 MPa？m1/2. The material removal mechanisms are seen to be directly related to normal force on the tip. The critical load and scratch depth estimated from the scratch depth profile after scratching and the friction profile are 268.60 mN and 335.10 nm, respectively. If the load and scratch depth are under the critical values, the glass-ceramic rigid substrate will undergo plastic flow rather than fracture.
