Triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)converts mechanical energy into valuable electrical energy,offering a solution for future energy *** an indispensable part of TENG,textile TENG(T-TENG)has incredible advantages in harvesting biomechanical energy and physiological signal ***,the application of T-TENG is restricted,partly because the fabric structure parameter and structure on T-TENG performance have not been fully *** study comprehensively investigates the effect of weaving structure on fabric TENGs(F-TENGs)for direct-weaving yarn TENGs and post-coating fabric *** direct-weaving F-TENGs,a single-yarn TENG(Y-TENG)with a core-sheath structure is fabricated using conductive yarn as the core layer yarn and polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)filaments as the sheath *** fabrics with five different sets of parameters were designed and *** post-coating F-TENGs,fabrics with weaving structures of plain,twill,satin,and reinforced twill were fabricated and coated with conductive silver ***,the twill F-TENGs have the best electrical outputs,followed by the satin F-TENGs and plain weave ***,the increase of the Y-TENG gap spacing was demonstrated to improve the electrical output ***,T-TENGs are demonstrated for human-computer interaction and self-powered real-time *** systematic work provides guidance for the future T-TENG’s design.

Background Understanding of the ratio of photosynthetic photon flux density（Qp） to global solar radiation（Rs）(Qp/Rs) is crucial for applying Rsto ecology-related *** studies reported Qp/Rsand its variations based on measurements from a single observatory tower,instead of multi-site-based measurements over complex *** may neglect spatial heterogeneity in the terrain,creating a gap in an understanding of how terrain affects Qp/Rsand how this effect interacts with meteorological *** here the Qingyuan Ker Towers（three towers in a valley with different terrains:T1,T2,and T3） were utilized to measure Qpand Rsover mountainous forests of Northeast *** airborne LiDAR system was used to generate a digital elevation model,and sky view factor of sectors（SVFs） divided from the field of view of tower's pyranometer was calculated as a topographic factor to explain the variations of Qp/*** The results identified significant differences in Qp/Rsof the three towers at both daily and half-hour scales,with larger differences on clear days than on overcast ***/Rswas positively correlated with SVFsof T1 and T3,while this correlation was negative with that of *** effect of SVFson Qp/Rsinteracted with clearness index,water vapor pressure and solar zenith *** forest-based importance assessment demonstrated that explanation（R2） on Qp/Rswas improved when SVFswas included in the predictor variable set,indicating that incorporating terrain effects enhances the prediction accuracy of Qp/*** improvement in the R2values was more pronounced on clear days than on overcast days,suggesting that the effect of terrain on Qp/Rsdepended on sky *** All findings suggested that Qp/Rsis affected by terrain,and integrating terrain information into existing Qp/Rsmodels is a feasible solution to improve Qp/Rsestimates in mountainous areas.

Seawater electrolysis is an effective way to obtain hydrogen(H_(2))in a sustainable ***,the lack of electrocatalysts with high activity,stability,and selectivity for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)severely hinders the development of seawater electrolysis ***,sulfur-doped nickel-iron selenide nanosheets(S-NiFeSe_(2))were prepared by an ion-exchange strategy and served as highly active OER electrocatalyst for alkaline seawater *** overpotential is 367 m V,and it can run stably for over 50 h at 100 m A cm^(-2).Excitingly,the S-NiFeSe_(2)||Pt/C pair exhibits cell voltage of 1.54 V at 10 m A cm^(-2)under alkaline seawater conditions,which can run smoothly for 100 h without decay,and the efficiency of electricity-tohydrogen(ETH)energy conversion reaches more than 80%.Such electrode,with abundant accessible reactive sites and good corrosion resistance,is a good candidate for seawater ***,density functional theory calculations reveal that the surface sulfur atoms can activate the adjacent Ni sites and decrease the free energy changes of the associated intermediates at the adjacent Ni sites for OER,and the step of~*OH→~*O is the potential rate-limiting *** this work,the true reactive site in nickel-iron selenides is the Ni sites,but not the Fe sites as commonly believed.

Electronic structures and Mott state of epitaxial TaS_(2) monolayers

Layered material TaS2hosts multiple structural phases and exotic correlated quantum states,including charge density wave(CDW),superconductivity,quantum spin liquid,and Mott insulating ***,we synthesized TaS_(2)monolayers in H and T phases using the molecular beam epitaxial(MBE)method and studied their electronic structures via angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES).We found that the H phase TaS_(2)(H-TaS_(2))monolayer is metallic,with an energy band crossing the Fermi *** contrast,the T phase TaS_(2)(T-TaS_(2))monolayer shows an insulated energy gap at the Fermi level,while the normal calculated band structure implies it should be metallic without any band ***,by considering Hubbard interaction potential U,further density functional theory(DFT)calculation suggests that monolayer T-TaS_(2)could be a CDW Mott insulator,and the DFT+U calculation matches well with the ARPES *** significantly,the temperature-dependent ARPES result indicates that the CDW Mott state in the T-TaS_(2)monolayer is more robust than its bulk counterpart and can persist at room *** results reveal that the dimensional effect can enhance the CDW Mott state and provide valuable insights for further exploring the exotic properties of monolayer TaS2.

An early scoring system to predict mechanical ventilation for botulism: a single-center-based study

BACKGROUND:Early identifi cation of patients requiring ventilator support will be benefi cial for the outcomes of *** present study aimed to establish a new scoring system to predict mechanical ventilation(MV)for botulism ***:A single-center retrospective study was conducted to identify risk factors associated with MV in botulism patients from 2007 to *** analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to screen out risk factors for constructing a prognostic scoring *** area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was ***:A total of 153 patients with botulism(66 males and 87 females,with an average age of 43 years)were *** these,49 patients(32.0%)required MV,including 21(13.7%)with invasive ventilation and 28(18.3%)with non-invasive *** analysis revealed that botulinum toxin type,pneumonia,incubation period,degree of hypoxia,and severity of muscle involvement were independent risk factors for *** risk factors were incorporated into a multivariate logistic regression analysis to establish a prognostic scoring *** risk factor was scored by allocating a weight based on its regression coeffi cient and rounded to whole numbers for practical utilization([botulinum toxin type A:1],[pneumonia:2],[incubation period≤1 day:2],[hypoxiahe scoring system achieved an area under the ROC curve of 0.82(95%CI 0.75-0.89,Phe optimal threshold of 9,the scoring system achieved a sensitivity of 83.7%and a specifi city of 70.2%.CONCLUSION:Our study identified botulinum toxin type,pneumonia,incubation period,degree of hypoxia,and severity of muscle involvement as independent risk factors for MV in botulism patients.A score≥9 in our scoring system is associated with a higher likelihood of requiring MV in botulism *** scoring system needs to be validated externally bef

Peritoneal fluid indocyanine green test for diagnosis of gut leakage in anastomotic leakage rats and colorectal surgery patients
