Unified description of different soils based on the superloading and subloading concepts

Geotechnical engineering often involves different types of geomaterials,such as sandy soil and clayey *** studies have confirmed that these soils have some common features,*** mechanical behaviors depend not only on the inherent characteristics but also on their initial *** describe the main mechanical behaviors of different soils within a simple and reasonable constitutive framework is of great significance for the numerical analysis on geotechnical *** paper first introduces a model based on the concepts of superloading and subloading,which considers the“state dependence”(effects of overconsolidation and structure)of soil and only adds two material parameters compared with the Cam-Clay ***,conventional triaxial tests are systematically carried out on four types of soils(***,silty clay,clay,and intermediate soil)with different initial void ratios,and the mechanical similarities and differences of these soils are discussed *** that,six material parameters of these soils are uniformly determined based on the concepts of superloading and subloading,and then used in constitutive calculations to verify the *** calculated results show a good agreement with test data,indicating that the model based on the concepts of superloading and subloading has great potential for describing the general mechanical behaviors of different soils within a unified *** work is expected to be applied to constitutive selection and parameter determination in the geotechnical numerical analysis of complex soil profiles.

With the emergence of new therapeutic methods,synergistic therapy has attracted great attention because it can improve the treatment efficacy,and reduce the toxic side ***,we developed a nanocarrier BGT by co-loading glucose oxidase(GOD)and transferrin(TRF)on the porous Bi nanoparticles(NPs)for improving tumor synergistic *** endows BGT with catalytic capacity of decomposing glucose into gluconic acid and a large amount of H2O2 for starving therapy.H2O2 further destroys TRF structure and releases Fe^(3+),which could react with H2O2 to generate highly toxic·OH for chemodynamic therapy(CDT).In addition,GOD-induced glucose depletion and decreased expression of heat shock proteins(HSPs)can also alleviate the thermotolerance of tumor cells to improve the efficiency of mild photothermal therapy(PTT).Mild temperature can in turn promote the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS)for improving the synergistic *** with the excellent targeting ability of TRF,efficient tumor synergistic therapy can be *** work shows that BGT has good photothermal stability and biocompatibility,and can be used as a nanocarrier,providing an effective method for collaborative therapy of tumor.

STGNN-LMR:A Spatial–Temporal Graph Neural Network Approach Based on sEMG Lower Limb Motion Recognition

Lower limb motion recognition techniques commonly employ Surface Electromyographic Signal(sEMG)as input and apply a machine learning classifier or Back Propagation Neural Network(BPNN)for ***,this artificial feature engineering technique is not generalizable to similar tasks and is heavily reliant on the researcher’s subject *** contrast,neural networks such as Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)and Long Short-term Memory Neural Network(LSTM)can automatically extract features,providing a more generalized and adaptable approach to lower limb motion *** this approach overcomes the limitations of human feature engineering,it may ignore the potential correlation among the sEMG *** paper proposes a spatial–temporal graph neural network model,STGNN-LMR,designed to address the problem of recognizing lower limb motion from multi-channel ***-LMR transforms multi-channel sEMG into a graph structure and uses graph learning to model spatial–temporal *** 8-channel sEMG dataset is constructed for the experimental stage,and the results show that the STGNN-LMR model achieves a recognition accuracy of 99.71%.Moreover,this paper simulates two unexpected scenarios,including sEMG sensors affected by sweat noise and sudden failure,and evaluates the testing results using hypothesis *** to the experimental results,the STGNN-LMR model exhibits a significant advantage over the control models in noise scenarios and failure *** experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the STGNN-LMR model for addressing the challenges associated with sEMG-based lower limb motion recognition in practical scenarios.

N,O Co-Doping Enhanced Adsorption of Chloramphenicol for Highly Efficient and Robust Electrocatalytic Hydrodechlorination

Electrocatalysis technology can effectively promote the hydrodechlorination of chloramphenicol(CAP)to reduce the ***,there are still some challenges such as low degradation rate and poor ***,we prepared porous N,O co-doped carbon supported Pd nanoparticles composites(Pd NPs/NO-C)for electrocatalytic degradation of *** doping of N and O not only effectively enhanced the interaction between substrate and CAP,promoting the mass transfer process,but also enhanced the anchoring effect on Pd nanoparticles,avoiding the occurrence of *** prepared composites achieved removal efficiency of CAP over 99%within 1 h,and the rate constant was as high as 6.72 h^(–1),outperforming previous reported ***,Pd NPs/NO-C composites showed a wide range of pH tolerance,excellent ion interference resistance and long-term *** work unravels the importance of mass transfer processes in solution to electrocatalytic hydrodechlorination and provides new research ideas for catalysts design.

On Modules with d-Koszul-type Submodules

The so-called weakly d-Koszul-type module is introduced and it turns out that each weakly d-Koszul-type module contains a d-Koszul-type submodule. It is proved that, M ∈ W H J^d（A） if and only if M admits a filtration of submodules： 0 belong to U0 belong to U1 belong to ... belong to Up = M such that all Ui/Ui-1 are d-Koszul-type modules, from which we obtain that the finitistic dimension conjecture holds in W H J^d（A） in a special case. Let M ∈ W H J^d（A）. It is proved that the Koszul dual E（M） is Noetherian, Hopfian, of finite dimension in special cases, and E（M） ∈ gr0（E（A））. In particular, we show that M ∈ W H J^d（A） if and only if E（G（M）） ∈ gr0（E（A））, where G is the associated graded functor.

Convergence analysis of the corrected Uzawa algorithm for symmetric saddle point problems

For the large sparse saddle point problems, Pan and Li recently proposed in [H. K. Pan, W. Li, Math. Numer. Sinica, 2009, 31（3）： 231-242] a corrected Uzawa algorithm based on a nonlinear Uzawa algorithm with two nonlinear approximate inverses, and gave the detailed convergence analysis. In this paper, we focus on the convergence analysis of this corrected Uzawa algorithm, some inaccuracies in [H. K. Pan, W. Li, Math. Numer. Sinica, 2009, 31（3）： 231-242] are pointed out, and a corrected convergence theorem is presented. A special case of this modified Uzawa algorithm is also discussed.

Spinal cord injuries lead to significant loss of motor, sensory, and autonomic functions, presenting major challenges in neural regeneration. Achieving effective therapeutic concentrations at injury sites has been a slow process, partly due to the difficulty of delivering drugs effectively. Nanoparticles, with their targeted delivery capabilities, biocompatibility, and enhanced bioavailability over conventional drugs, are garnering attention for spinal cord injury treatment. This review explores the current mechanisms and shortcomings of existing treatments, highlighting the benefits and progress of nanoparticle-based approaches. We detail nanoparticle delivery methods for spinal cord injury, including local and intravenous injections, oral delivery, and biomaterial-assisted implantation, alongside strategies such as drug loading and surface modification. The discussion extends to how nanoparticles aid in reducing oxidative stress, dampening inflammation, fostering neural regeneration, and promoting angiogenesis. We summarize the use of various types of nanoparticles for treating spinal cord injuries, including metallic, polymeric, protein-based, inorganic non-metallic, and lipid nanoparticles. We also discuss the challenges faced, such as biosafety, effectiveness in humans, precise dosage control, standardization of production and characterization, immune responses, and targeted delivery in vivo. Additionally, we explore future directions, such as improving biosafety, standardizing manufacturing and characterization processes, and advancing human trials. Nanoparticles have shown considerable progress in targeted delivery and enhancing treatment efficacy for spinal cord injuries, presenting significant potential for clinical use and drug development.

Fluorine Substitution Effect on the Material Properties in Transparent Aromatic Polyimides

The recent development of flexible display technology raised additional requirements for optical and electric properties of polyimides,accelerating the structure and property tunning of transparent *** unique electronic effect and steric hindrance effect of fluorine substitutions make fluorine-containing polyimides occupy an important position in the transparent polyimide *** this work,a series of transparent aromatic polyimides were prepared from a fixed 4,4’-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride(6FDA)and biphenyl diamines with different substitute groups at the 2,2’,6,6’-*** systematically studied the effects of pendant groups on the thermal,mechanical,optical and dielectric properties of these 6FDA-based polyimides with the aid of density function theory(DFT)*** particular,we paid special attention to the simple but compact fluoro group *** simple fluoro substitution brought the advantages of maintaining the linearity of the backbone and dense polymer chain packing,which would minimize the weakening of polyimides’inherent thermal,dimensional and mechanical *** with trifluoromethyl substituted polyimides with the best optical transparency,polyimides containing fluoro substitutes exhibited slightly decreased optical transparency,but increased thermal and dimensional stability and higher mechanical *** results could shed light on the ultimate transparent polyimide film development toward the application in extreme working condition,e.g.,the colorless polyimide substrate film for the flexible display technology.

Mechanisms for the evolution of cell-to-cell variations and their impacts on fast-charging performance within a lithium-ion battery pack

Cell-to-cell variations(CtCV) compromise the electrochemical performance of battery packs, yet the evolutional mechanism and quantitative impacts of CtCV on the pack's fast-charging performance remain unexplored. This knowledge gap is vital for the proliferation of electric vehicles. This study underlies the relationship between CtCV and charging performance by assessing the pack's charge speed, final electric quantity, and temperature consistency. Cell variations and pack status are depicted using 2D parameter diagrams, and an m PnS configured pack model is built upon a decomposed electrode cell *** in three single electric parameters, i.e., capacity(Q), electric quantity(E), and internal resistance(R), and their dual interactions, i.e., E-Q and R-Q, are analyzed carefully. The results indicate that Q variations predominantly affect the final electric quantity of the pack, while R variations impact the charge speed most. With incremental variances in cell parameters, the pack's fast-charging capability first declines linearly and then deteriorates sharply as variations intensify. This research elucidates the correlations between pack charging capabilities and cell variations, providing essential insights for optimizing cell sorting and assembly, battery management design, and charging protocol development for battery packs.
