NaTaONcatalysts were synthesized by a hydrothermal（H） and a solid-state（S） methods in this *** H-and S-NaTaONsamples were characterized by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, UV–visible（UV–vis） diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, and photoluminescence（PL） spectroscopy. The XRD patterns of the H-and S-samples showed peaks indexed to the pure phase of perovskite NaTaOand minor peaks assignable to TaNat various synthesis temperatures. Substitution of oxygen by nitrogen ions causes the light absorption of the H-and S-NaTaONsamples to be extended to the 600–650 nm region, thus making the samples visible-light active. The NaTaONsamples exhibited photocatalytic activity for Hand Oevolution from aqueous methanol and silver nitrate solutions under visible-light irradiation. The UV–vis and PL spectra of the Hand S-catalysts revealed the presence of cationic vacancies and reduced metallic species, which acted as recombination centers. These results demonstrated that the preparation method plays a critical role in the formation of defect states, thereby governing the photocatalytic activity of the NaTaONcatalysts.

Population aging has developed into a significant area of concern in developed countries, especially in relation to thepreservation of functional independence and the quality of life (QoL). However, information on the contribution ofsex differences in quality of life and cognitive function is scarce. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate potentialdifferences in cognitive function and QoL between males and females. For this study, we recruited 382 healthy subjectsaged 19–79 years from communities in Southern Taiwan region,china. Cognitive function and QoL were assessed using the UCSD Performance-based Skills Assessment, Brief Version (UPSA-B) and World Health Organization Quality ofLife Instruments (WHOQOL-BREF), respectively. The effects of sex, age groups, and interaction of sex and ageon the UPSA-B and WHOQOL-BREF scores were examined. We found that the financial and communicationdomains of the UPSA-B showed declining trends with age in both sexes, although these trends were more obviousin females than in males. In the domain of Physical Capacity, QoL showed an age-increased trend in males, whileQoL in the Environment domain showed an age-increased trend in females. Regarding the relationships betweencognitive function and QoL, we found that the financial skill and communication skill of UPSA-B was positivelycorrelated to the psychological well-being domain of WHOQOL-BREF, in males of age <40 years. In conclusion,our findings demonstrate differential relationships between cognitive function and QoL between males and females,which could serve as a basis for further study between cognitive function and quality of life in communities.

Structured-light(SL)based 3D sensors have been widely used in many *** SL is the most widely deployed among all SL sensors due to its light weight,compact size,fast video rate,and low *** transmitter(known as the dot projector)consists of a randomly patterned vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser(VCSEL)array multiplicated by a diffractive optical element(DOE)with a fixed repeated *** that the separation of any two speckles is only one known and fixed number(albeit random),there are no other known scales to cal-ibrate or ***,typical SL sensors require extensive in-factory calibrations,and the depth resolution is limited to 1 mm at-60 cm *** this paper,to the best of our knowledge,we propose a novel dot projector and a new addressable SL(ASL)3D sensor by using a regularly spaced,individually addressable VCSEL array,multiplicated by a metasurface-DOE(MDOE)into a random pattern of the *** turning on or off the VCSELs in the array provides multiple known distances between neighboring speckles,which is used as a“built-in caliper”to achieve higher accuracy of *** as a precise“vernier caliper,”the addressable VCSEL array enables fine control over speckle positions and high detection *** experimentally dem-onstrated that the proposed method can result in sub-hundred-micron level *** new concept opens new possibilities for applications such as 3D computation,facial recognition,and wearable devices.

Earth’s magnetopause is a thin boundary separating the shocked solar wind plasma from the magnetospheric plasmas,and it is also the boundary of the solar wind energy transport to the *** X-ray imaging allows investigation of the large-scale magnetopause by providing a two-dimensional(2-D)global view from a *** performing 3-D global hybrid-particle-in-cell(hybrid-PIC)simulations,we obtain soft X-ray images of Earth’s magnetopause under different solar wind conditions,such as different plasma densities and directions of the southward interplanetary magnetic *** all cases,magnetic reconnection occurs at low latitude *** soft X-ray images observed by a hypothetical satellite are shown,with all of the following identified:the boundary of the magnetopause,the cusps,and the *** X-ray emissivity in the magnetosheath is characterized by large amplitude fluctuations(up to 160%);however,the maximum line-of-sight-integrated X-ray intensity matches the tangent directions of the magnetopause well,indicating that these fluctuations have limited impact on identifying the magnetopause boundary in the X-ray ***,the magnetopause boundary can be identified using multiple viewing *** also find that solar wind conditions have little effect on the magnetopause *** Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE)mission will provide X-ray images of the magnetopause for the first time,and our global hybrid-PIC simulation results can help better understand the 2-D X-ray images of the magnetopause from a 3-D perspective,with particle kinetic effects considered.

In the existing landslide susceptibility prediction(LSP)models,the influences of random errors in landslide conditioning factors on LSP are not considered,instead the original conditioning factors are directly taken as the model inputs,which brings uncertainties to LSP *** study aims to reveal the influence rules of the different proportional random errors in conditioning factors on the LSP un-certainties,and further explore a method which can effectively reduce the random errors in conditioning *** original conditioning factors are firstly used to construct original factors-based LSP models,and then different random errors of 5%,10%,15% and 20%are added to these original factors for con-structing relevant errors-based LSP ***,low-pass filter-based LSP models are constructed by eliminating the random errors using low-pass filter ***,the Ruijin County of china with 370 landslides and 16 conditioning factors are used as study *** typical machine learning models,*** perceptron(MLP),support vector machine(SVM)and random forest(RF),are selected as LSP ***,the LSP uncertainties are discussed and results show that:(1)The low-pass filter can effectively reduce the random errors in conditioning factors to decrease the LSP uncertainties.(2)With the proportions of random errors increasing from 5%to 20%,the LSP uncertainty increases continuously.(3)The original factors-based models are feasible for LSP in the absence of more accurate conditioning factors.(4)The influence degrees of two uncertainty issues,machine learning models and different proportions of random errors,on the LSP modeling are large and basically the same.(5)The Shapley values effectively explain the internal mechanism of machine learning model predicting landslide *** conclusion,greater proportion of random errors in conditioning factors results in higher LSP uncertainty,and low-pass filter can effectively reduce these random e

Bisphenol F epoxy resin(EP)is often used in terminal current lead insulation of superconducting equipment because of its good insulation performance,high mechanical strength,good toughness at cryogenic temperatures,and resistance to cold shock and heat ***,due to the wide temperature range of 80–300 K and the strong electric field,the EP-N_(2)interface is prone to surface flashover,resulting in terminal insulation *** improve the reliability of the current lead insulation,non-linear conductive EP/strontium titanate(SrTiO_(3))composites were prepared by modification with nano *** changes of dielectric,surface discharge,flashover,and trap distribution characteristics of composite materials were studied,and the mechanism of SrTiO_(3)on the surface flashover of composite materials was *** results show that the conductivity of the composite increases with the rise of SrTiO_(3)filling content,and the amplitude of improvement is greater under the strong electric field,showing a more significant *** composite has a lower trap energy level and a greater number of shallow traps compared to pure EP,which accelerates surface charge detrapping and reduces charge accumulation,effectively enhancing the discharge and surface flashover voltage of the composite.

This study aims to investigate the effects of different mapping unit scales and study area scales on the uncertainty rules of landslide susceptibility prediction(LSP).To illustrate various study area scales,Ganzhou City in china,its eastern region(Ganzhou East),and Ruijin County in Ganzhou East were *** mapping unit scales are represented by grid units with spatial resolution of 30 and 60 m,as well as slope units that were extracted by multi-scale segmentation *** 3855 landslide locations and 21 typical environmental factors in Ganzhou City are first determined to create spatial datasets with ***,landslide susceptibility maps(LSMs)of Ganzhou City,Ganzhou East and Ruijin County are pro-duced using a support vector machine(SVM)and random forest(RF),*** LSMs of the above three regions are then extracted by mask from the LSM of Ganzhou City,along with the LSMs of Ruijin County from Ganzhou ***,LSMs of Ruijin at various mapping unit scales are generated in *** and landslide suscepti-bility indexes(LSIs)distribution are used to express LSP *** LSP uncertainties under grid units significantly decrease as study area scales decrease from Ganzhou City,Ganzhou East to Ruijin County,whereas those under slope units are less affected by study area *** course,attentions should also be paid to the broader representativeness of large study *** LSP accuracy of slope units increases by about 6%–10%compared with those under grid units with 30 m and 60 m resolution in the same study area's *** significance of environmental factors exhibits an averaging trend as study area scale increases from small to *** importance of environmental factors varies greatly with the 60 m grid unit,but it tends to be consistent to some extent in the 30 m grid unit and the slope unit.
