The garment industry in Vietnam is one of the country’s strongest industries in the world.However,the production process still encounters problems regarding scheduling that does not equate to an optimal process.The paper introduces a production scheduling solution that resolves the potential delays and lateness that hinders the production process using integer programming and order allocation with a make-to-order manufacturing viewpoint.A number of constraints were considered in the model and is applied to a real case study of a factory in order to viewhowthe tardiness and latenesswould be affected which resulted in optimizing the scheduling time better.Specifically,the constraints considered were order assignments,production time,and tardiness with an objective function which is to minimize the total cost of delay.The results of the study precisely the overall cost of delay of the orders given to the plant and successfully propose a suitable production schedule that utilizes the most of the plant given.The study has shown promising results that would assist plant and production managers in determining an algorithm that they can apply for their production process.

Topological study about failure behavior and energy absorption of honeycomb structures under various strain rates

High-speed impact threats and terrorist actions on the battlefield require the development of more effective protective materials and structures,and various protective structure is designed according their energy-absorbing characteristics.In this research,the deformation behavior,microscopic failure modes and energy absorption characteristics of re-entrant hexagonal structure,regular hexagonal structure and regular quadrilateral structure are studied under different strain rates impact.The re-entrant hexagonal structure forms a“X”-shaped deformation zone,the regular quadrilateral and regular hexagonal structure form an“I”-shaped deformation zone.The microscopic appearance of the section is a mixed fracture form.The effects of the topological shape,cell angle,and cell height on the impact behavior of the structure were evaluated.When the cell height is fixed and the cell angle is changed,the energy absorption of the structure increase and then decrease as the relative density increase.The mechanical properties of the structure are optimal when the relative density is about 18.6%and the cell angle is22.5°.When the cell angle is fixed and the cell height is changed,as the relative density increases,the energy absorption of the structure gradually increases.The regular quadrilateral structure and the reentrant hexagonal structure experienced clear strain rate effects under dynamic impact conditions;the regular hexagonal structure did not exhibit obvious strain rate effects.The results presented herein provide a basis for further rational design and selection of shock-resistant protective structures that perform well in high-speed impact environments.

Integrating multiple photosensitive properties into an“all-in-one”photosensitizer(PS)shows great promise for the treatment of cancers owing to synergistic effect among them.However,the development of such PSs,especially those that need a single laser source,remains a challenge.Herein,we report an orchestration of electron donors and acceptors in a propeller-like pentad,PBI-4Cz,where four carbazole(Cz)units are covalently linked to the ortho-positions of the perylene bisimide(PBI)core.Strong intramolecular donor-acceptor interaction significantly quenches the luminescence and largely extends the absorption spectra to near-infrared region.Excited-state dynamics investigated via femto-and nano-second transient absorption spectroscopy revealed exclusive charge separation of the PBI-4Cz within initial 0.5 ps when photoexcited regardless of which intermediate is involved.Energy dissipation of the resulting charge-separated state(PBI^(•−)-4Cz^(•−))is subjected to the toggle between intersystem-crossing toward excited triplet states and charge recombination toward ground states.Relative importance of the two pathways can be tuned by micro-environmental polarity,which endows PBI-4Cz remarkable performances of singlet-oxygen generation(>90.0%)in toluene and photothermal conversion(∼28.6%)in DMSO.Harnessing intrinsic photostability and excited-state processes of heavy-atom-free PBI derivatives not only holds a promise for multifunctional phototheranostics,but also provides a prototype for designing high-performance PSs with tunable photoconversion pathways.

目的:探索3D骨水泥占位器用于人工髋关节翻修术的可行性研究。方法:基于髋关节假体松动模型和WementⅡ骨水泥股骨柄的CT数据,运用Mimics医学图形处理软件对3D股骨柄进行重建,制作两种不同的3D打印的铝合金髋关节占位器模型,分别称为解剖型占位器模具和假体型占位器模具,用骨水泥倒模后,分别制作出解剖型占位器和假体型占位器,分别置入同一股骨模型中,测定小转子到占位器股骨头旋转中心的垂直距离,即假体高度,以评价两种3D打印占位器在髋关节中的匹配程度。结果:假体型占位器的假体高度为(50.15±0.82)mm,解剖型占位器的假体高度为(60.16±0.78)mm,两种占位器在股骨近端模型的假体高度有统计学差异。结论:基于假体大小数据制作占位器模具所制作的占位器与股骨近端髓腔能更好地匹配,且术中更易于操作;总体优于基于髓腔大小数据所制作的占位器模具。使用3D打印金属模具制作的个性化骨水泥占位器,具有制作简单、制作时间短、可行度、准确度、匹配度高、经济性良好等优点。不仅能应用于髋关节,亦有望应用于其他常见的关节置换术后感染翻修手术治疗。

Full laparoscopic liver resection has been performed widely since it was introduced in the early 1990s.It has been expanded from initial for partial resection of the anterolateral segments to non-restriction of area of the liver[1–3].Anatomical liver resec-tion is considered to have potential superiority than non-anatomic resection in terms of tumor prognosis,thus it is more often rec-ommended in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma[4,5].Recently,laparoscopic segmental liver resection according to the Couinaud classification has been widely performed due to its ad-vantages in minimal invasiveness and tumor prognosis.

Sutured scleral fixation of existing subluxated/dislocated acrylic one-piece intraocular lenses

AIM:To evaluate the visual and refractive outcomes in cases after sutured scleral fixation of existing subluxated or dislocated acrylic one-piece intraocular lenses(IOLs).METHODS:This study retrospectively enrolled a consecutive series of patients who underwent a surgery of sutured existing subluxated or dislocated IOLs from October 2018 to June 2020.All patients underwent comprehensive preoperative and postoperative ophthalmologic examination,and data were collected including age,sex,surgical indications,best-corrected visual acuity,refractive error,intraocular pressure.Presence of intraoperative and postoperative surgical complications was documented.RESULTS:A total of 20 consecutive cases were enrolled for analysis with mean final follow-up period 9.8±5.3mo.Visual acuity improved from a mean of 0.35(0.46±0.32 logMAR)preoperatively to 0.61(0.21±0.18 logMAR)at the 3-month follow-up(P=0.002).The mean amount of preoperative keratometric astigmatism and total postoperative refractive astigmatism was-1.24±0.80 diopters(D)and-1.42±0.97 D,respectively.There was no statistically significant difference between preoperative and postoperative astigmatism(P=0.156).The mean IOL-induced astigmatism was-0.23±0.53 D.The mean spherical equivalent at the 3-month follow-up was-0.1±0.94 D.No major complications were noted during the follow-up period.CONCLUSION:Surgical techniques using sutured scleral fixation of existing subluxated or dislocated acrylic one-piece IOLs result in favorable visual and refractive outcomes without major complications.

Progress on Bionic Textured Cutting Tools:A Review and Prospects

Cutting tools are known as the“productivity”of the manufacturing industry,which affects the production efficiency and quality of the workpiece,and has become the focus of research and attention in academia and industry.However,traditional cutting tools often suffer from adhesion or wear during the cutting process,which considerably reduces the cutting efficiency and service life of the tools,and makes it difficult to meet current production requirements.To solve the above problems,scholars have introduced bionics into the tool’s design,applying the microscopic structure of the biological surface to the tool surface to alleviate the tool’s failure.This paper mainly summarizes the research progress of bionic textured cutting tools.Firstly,categorize whether the bionic texture design is inspired by a single organism or multiple organisms.Secondly,it is discussed that the non-smooth surface of the biological surface has five characteristics:hydrophilic lubricity,wear resistance,drag reduction and hydrophobicity,anti-adhesion,and arrangement,and the non-smooth structure of these different characteristics are applied to the surface of the tool is designed with bionic texture.Furtherly,the cutting performance of bionic textured cutting tools is discussed.The anti-friction and wear-resisting mechanism of bionic textured cutting tools is analyzed.Finally,some pending problems and perspectives have been proposed to provide new inspirations for the design of bionic textured cutting tools.

Cavity-enhanced single quantum dots(QDs)are the main approach towards ultra-high-performance solid-state quantum light sources for scalable photonic quantum technologies.Nevertheless,harnessing the Purcell effect requires precise spectral and spatial alignment of the QDs’emission with the cavity mode,which is challenging for most cavities.Here we have successfully integrated miniaturized Fabry-Perot microcavities with a piezoelectric actuator,and demonstrated a bright single-photon source derived from a deterministically coupled QD within this microcavity.Leveraging the cavity-membrane structures,we have achieved large spectral tunability via strain tuning.On resonance,a high Purcell factor of~9 is attained.The source delivers single photons with simultaneous high extraction efficiency of 0.58,high purity of 0.956(2)and high indistinguishability of 0.922(4).Together with its compact footprint,our scheme facilitates the scalable integration of indistinguishable quantum light sources on-chip,therefore removing a major barrier to the development of solid-state quantum information platforms based on QDs.

Single-Ni-atoms on nitrogenated humic acid based porous carbon for CO_(2)electroreduction

tWe proposed a facile synthesis of single-Ni-atom catalysts on low-cost porous carbon using a calcina-tion method at the temperatures of 850-1000°C,which were used for CO_(2)electrochemical reduction to CO.The porous carbon was prepared by carbonizing cheap and abundant humic acid.The structural characterizations of the as-synthesized catalysts and their electrocatalytic performances were analyzed.The results showed that the single-Ni-atom catalyst activated at 950°C showed an optimum catalytic performance,and it reached a CO Faradaic efficiency of 91.9%with a CO partial current density of 6.9 mAcm^(-2)at-0.9 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE).Additionally,the CO Faradaic efficiency and current density of the optimum catalyst changed slightly after 8 h of continuous operation,suggesting that it possessed an excellent stability.The structure-activity relations indicate that the variation in the CO_(2)electroche-mical reduction performance for the as-synthesized cataly-sts is ascribed to the combined effects of the increase in the content of pyrrolic N,the evaporation of Ni and N,the decrease in pore volume,and the change in graphitization degree.
