A guidance and control design with reduced information for a dual-spin stabilized projectile

In this paper,an integrated guidance and control method based on an adaptive path-following controller is proposed to control a spin-stabilized projectile with only translational motion information under the constraint of an actuator,uncertainties in aerodynamic parameters and measurements,and control system complexity.Owing to the fairly high rotation speed,the dynamic model of this missile is strongly nonlinear,uncertain and coupled in pitch,yaw and roll channels.A theoretical equivalent resultant force and uncertainty compensation method are comprehensively used to realize decoupling of pitch and yaw.In response to the strong nonlinear and time-varying characteristics of the dynamic system,the quasi-linear model whose parameters are obtained by interpolation of points selected as the segmentation points in the trajectory envelope,is used for calculation in each step.To cope with the system uncertainty caused by model approximation,parameter uncertainty and ballistic interference,an extended state estimator is used to compensate the output feedback according to the test ballistic angle.In order to improve the tracking efficiency and ensure the tracking error convergence with only translational motion information,the virtual guide point,whose derivative is deduced according to the Lyapunov principle,is calculated in real time according to the projection relationship between the real-time position and the reference trajectory,and a virtual line-of-sight angle and the backstepping method are used for the design of the guidance and control system.In order to avoid the influence of control input saturation on the guidance and control performance due to the actuator limitation and improve the robustness of the system,an anti-saturation compensator is designed according to the two-step method.The feasibility and effectiveness of the path-following controller is verified through closed-loop flight simulations with measurement,control,and condition uncertainties.The results indicate that the designed controller can conv

Artificial Intelligence and Network Pharmacology Reveal the Medication Rules of Professor wang yu-Ying in the Treatment of Climacteric Syndrome

Objective: The objective of this study was to explore the medication rules and academic ideas of Professor wang yu-Ying in the treatment of climacteric syndrome(CLS) and to predict new prescriptions. Materials and Methods: The characteristics of frequency, clustering, four properties, and five flavors were analyzed, and new prescriptions were predicted through an artificial intelligence(AI)-based method. The potential pathways of new prescriptions were explored through network pharmacology-based analysis. Results: The top 16 medicinals used by Professor wang yu-Ying in the treatment of CLS included Danggui, Longgu, Muli, Fuling, Chuanxiong, Gancao, Xiangfu, and Tusizi. The AI method was applied to predict the basic prescription for treating CLS: Danggui 15 g, Duanlonggu 30 g, Duanmuli 30 g, Fuling 28 g, Chuanxiong 10 g, Gancao 6 g, Xiangfu 12 g, Tusizi 14 g, etc., Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analyses showed that the pathogenesis of CLS might be related to the estrogen pathway, involving typical steroid responses. Conclusions: This study summarized Professor wang's medication experience in the treatment of CLS based on the data mining of clinical diagnoses and treatment cases. The AI method was used to predict the new prescription of CLS treatment, which was found to be reasonable by network pharmacology studies on its multi-target and multi-pathway mechanisms.

Quantum Spin Exchange Interactions to Accelerate the Redox Kinetics in Li–S Batteries

Spin-engineering with electrocatalysts have been exploited to suppress the“shuttle effect”in Li–S batteries.Spin selec-tion,spin-dependent electron mobility and spin potentials in activation barriers can be optimized as quantum spin exchange interactions lead-ing to a significant reduction of the electronic repulsions in the orbitals of catalysts.Herein,we anchor the MgPc molecules on fluorinated carbon nanotubes(MgPc@FCNT),which exhibits the single active Mg sites with axial displacement.According to the density functional theory calculations,the electronic spin polarization in MgPc@FCNT not only increases the adsorption energy toward LiPSs intermediates but also facilitates the tunneling process of electron in Li–S batter-ies.As a result,the MgPc@FCNT provides an initial capacity of 6.1 mAh cm^(-2) even when the high sulfur loading is 4.5 mg cm^(-2),and still maintains 5.1 mAh cm^(-2) after 100 cycles.This work provides a new perspective to extend the main group single-atom catalysts enabling high-performance Li–S batteries.

Spatial tumor biopsy with fluorescence PCR microneedle array

Biopsy is the gold standard for tumor diagnosis,as this technology provides highly detailed and reliable information on tumorigenesis and progression.Resembling the discrete wettability of desert beetles,in this study,a fluorescence polymerase chain reaction(F-PCR)microneedle array(MNA)platform is developed for efficient spatial tumor biopsy.This MNA is fabricated by the coupled strategies of bottom-up self-assembly and top-down photolithography;it comprises a hydrophobic silica nanoparticle-assembled substrate and graphene aerogel-hydrogel hybrid microneedle peaks.Benefitting from the hydrophilicity and absorption capacity of its graphene hybrid microneedle peaks,MNA can easily penetrate tissue specimens and collect tumor nucleic acid biomarkers stereoscopically.In addition,because of the discrete wettability of the platform,both tissue fluids and PCR liquids can be easily removed from the substrate,and each microneedle peak is similar to an independent island for directly conducting F-PCR reactions for tumor marker discovery.Based on these advantages,the F-PCR-MNA platform is demonstrated to be ideal for detecting DNA biomarkers of lung carcinoma in standard solutions,mouse tissue samples,and clinical specimens,thus indicating its practical potential as an innovative tumor biopsy system.

TBBPA rather than its main derivatives enhanced growth of endometrial cancer via p53 ubiquitination

Tetrabromobisphenol A(TBBPA)and its derivatives widely exist in various environments and biota.Although the available data indicate that TBBPA exposure is highly associated with the increased incidence of endometrial cancer(EC),the effects of TBBPA and its main derivatives on EC proliferation and the involved crucial mechanism remain unclear.The present study aimed to investigate the effects of TBBPA and its derivatives under environmental concentrations on the proliferation of EC,and the crucial mechanism on the progression of EC caused by bromine fame retardants exposure.In this research,TBBPA and two of the most common TBBPA derivatives including TBBPA bis(2-hydroxyethyl ether)(TBBPABHEE)and TBBPA bis(dibromopropyl ether)(TBBPA-BDBPE)were screened for their capacities in induced EC proliferation and explored the related mechanism by in vitro cell culture model and in vivo mice model.Under environmental concentrations,TBBPA promoted the proliferation of EC,the main derivatives of TBBPA(TBBPA-BHEE and TBBPA-BDBPE)did not present the similar facilitation effects.The ubiquitination degradation of p53 was crucial in TBBPA induced EC proliferation,which resulted in the increase of downstream cell cycle and decrease of apoptosis.The further molecular docking result suggested the high affinity between TBBPA and ubiquitinated proteasome.This finding revealed the effects of TBBPA and its derivatives on EC proliferation,thus providing novel insights into the underlying mechanisms of TBBPA-caused EC.

To overcome the pain and risk of hypoglycemia in insulin administration,glucose-responsive microneedles have been developed by researchers,which could release insulin according to the blood glucose level.We designed a kind of particles by a reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT)method containing a phenylboronic acid group as the sensor of glucose and carrier of insulin.poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG)-2-(dodecylthio(thiocarbonyl)thio)-2-methylpropionic acid(DDMAT)was synthesized as a macromolecular RAFT agent,which was then reacted with 3-acrylamidophenylboronic acid(AAPBA)to synthesize the block copolymer PEG-b-PAAPBA.Glucose-responsive particles loaded with insulin were prepared by self-assembly based on hydrophilic-hydrophobic interactions.Microneedle patches loaded with glucose-responsive particles were prepared using hyaluronic acid as the substrate.The insulin release behavior of the particles in glucose solutions of 0,100,and 400 mg/dL showed significant glucose responsiveness and good biosafety.The results of blood glucose control experiments in rats indicate that a single microneedle patch can effectively maintain normal blood glucose for over 7 h.

Glanzmann’s thrombasthenia(GT)is an inherited autosomal recessive bleeding disorder,resulting from mutations in the ITGA2B and ITGB3 genes,that lead to a defect in the platelet membrane integrinαIIbβ3.[1]As integrinαIIbβ3 plays an important role in thrombus formation,the clinical manifestation of GT includes bleeding(mostly mucocutaneous)and purpura.For this reason,patients with GT are typically thought to be unlikely to suffer from thromboembolic incidents.Antithrombin is an anticoagulant that inhibits thrombin and is activated factor X and other serine proteases in the coagulation cascade.[2]Antithrombin deficiency is an autosomal dominant hereditary disease with an approximate prevalence of 1/500 in the overall population.[3]In contrast to the hemorrhagic tendency of GT,patients with antithrombin deficiency are at increased risk of thromboembolism,especially in the venous system.Herein,we describe a rare case of GT and antithrombin deficiency coexisting in a single patient.Rivaroxaban was used for the treatment of pulmonary embolism(PE)and deep vein thrombosis(DVT).

Data-driven modeling on anisotropic mechanical behavior of brain tissue with internal pressure

Brain tissue is one of the softest parts of the human body,composed of white matter and grey matter.The mechanical behavior of the brain tissue plays an essential role in regulating brain morphology and brain function.Besides,traumatic brain injury(TBI)and various brain diseases are also greatly influenced by the brain's mechanical properties.Whether white matter or grey matter,brain tissue contains multiscale structures composed of neurons,glial cells,fibers,blood vessels,etc.,each with different mechanical properties.As such,brain tissue exhibits complex mechanical behavior,usually with strong nonlinearity,heterogeneity,and directional dependence.Building a constitutive law for multiscale brain tissue using traditional function-based approaches can be very challenging.Instead,this paper proposes a data-driven approach to establish the desired mechanical model of brain tissue.We focus on blood vessels with internal pressure embedded in a white or grey matter matrix material to demonstrate our approach.The matrix is described by an isotropic or anisotropic nonlinear elastic model.A representative unit cell(RUC)with blood vessels is built,which is used to generate the stress-strain data under different internal blood pressure and various proportional displacement loading paths.The generated stress-strain data is then used to train a mechanical law using artificial neural networks to predict the macroscopic mechanical response of brain tissue under different internal pressures.Finally,the trained material model is implemented into finite element software to predict the mechanical behavior of a whole brain under intracranial pressure and distributed body forces.Compared with a direct numerical simulation that employs a reference material model,our proposed approach greatly reduces the computational cost and improves modeling efficiency.The predictions made by our trained model demonstrate sufficient accuracy.Specifically,we find that the level of internal blood pressure can greatly influence stress distribution and

Effect of electrical parameters and slag system on macrostructure of electroslag ingot

To investigate the influence of electric parameters and slag system on the solidification quality of electroslag ingot during electroslag remelting,different power supply modes,current strengths and remelting slag systems were used to conduct electroslag remelting experiments on 304L austenitic stainless steel,and the macrostructure of electroslag ingots was analyzed.The results indicate that the depth of the metal pool decreases with the reduction of remelting frequency in the low frequency power supply mode.The effects of different power supply modes,such as low-frequency,direct current straight polarity(DCSP),and direct current reverse polarity(DCRP),on reducing the depth of the metal pool increase in that order.By reducing the remelting current strength in the same power supply mode,the depth of metal pool is reduced.When compared to the binary slag system of 70%CaF2+30%Al2O3,the ternary slag system of 60%CaF2+20%Al2O3+20%CaO is more effective in reducing the depth of the metal pool during remelting.Utilizing the 60%CaF2+20%Al2O3+20%CaO ternary slag system results in a shallower and flatter metal pool,with columnar crystal growth occurring closer to the axial crystal.This effect is observed for both low frequency and direct current(DC)power supply modes.
