Dichloromethane(DCM)has been listed as a toxic and harmful water pollutant,and its re moval needs *** electroly.is cells(MECs)are viewed as a promising alterna tive for pollutant removal,which can be strengthened from two aspects:microbial inocula tion and *** this study.the MEC for DCM degradation was inoculated with the ac tive sludge enhanced by.Methy.obacterium rhodesianum H13(strain H13)and then acclimated in the form of a microbial fuel cell(MFC).Both the introduction of strain H13 and the initi ation in MFC form significantly.promoted DCM *** degradation kinetics were fitted by.the Haldane model,with V_(max),K_(h),K_(i)and v_(max)values of 103.2 mg/L/hr,97.8 mg/L268.3 mg/L and 44.7 mg/L/hr/cm^(2),*** cy.lic voltammogram implies that DCM redox reactions became easier with the setup of MEC,and the electrochemical impedance spectrogram shows that the acclimated and enriched microbes reduced the charge transfe resistance from the electrode to the *** the biofilm,the dominant genera shifted from Geobacter to Hy.homicrobium in acclimation ***,Methy.obacterium play.d an increasingly.important *** metabolism mainly.occurred through the hy.roly.ic glutathione S-transferase pathway.given that the gene dcmA was identified rather than the dhlA and P450/*** exogenous electrons facilitated the reduction of GSSG,directly.o indirectly.accelerating the GSH-cataly.ed *** study.provides support fo the construction of an efficient and stable MEC for DCM removal in water environment.

An integrative mathematical model of microwave ion thruster for mHz-frequency.thrust noise analy.is

Many.high-precision space missions need thrusters to produce thrust with low noise to compensate for disturbances and ensure satellite platform stability. Microwave ion thruster is characterized with a wide thrust range and potential for these missions. A cost-effective and accurate mathematical model is crucial for mHz-frequency.thrust noise analy.is and feedback controller design. The Particle-In-Cell(PIC) and global models are two common simulation tools. The PIC model is characterized with high accuracy.but huge computation cost, which is difficult to analy.e long-time performance characteristics. Now, the global model is only.used for the discharge chamber with low accuracy.and cannot reflect ion extraction properties. In this paper, an integrative mathematical model is built for a 1-cm microwave ion thruster and can reflect ion beamlet divergence and impingement on the Accelerator Grid(AG). Simulation results show good agreement with experiments at 0.06 sccm. However, the model demonstrates worse consistency.with experiments when the flux increases to 0.1 sccm, which may.be because the influence of neutral gas on the Electron Cy.lotron Resonance(ECR) is not considered in the model. A long-time(1000 s) simulation is conducted with this model under 35 μN. It takes 3 hrs, and the thrust noise reaches 1 μN/Hz^(0.5) at 1 mHz.

Prediction play. an important role in data *** averaging method generally.provides better prediction than using any.of its *** though model averaging has been extensively.investigated under independent errors,few authors have considered model averaging for semiparametric models with correlated *** this paper,the authors offer an optimal model averaging method to improve the prediction in partially.linear model for longitudinal *** model averaging weights are obtained by.minimizing criterion,which is an unbiased estimator of the expected in-sample squared error loss plus a *** properties,including asy.ptotic optimality.and consistency.of averaging weights,are established under two scenarios:(i)All candidate models are misspecified;(ii)Correct models are available in the candidate *** studies and an empirical example show that the promise of the proposed procedure over other competitive methods.

A Comparison of Four Neural Networks Algorithms on Locomotion Intention Recognition of Lower Limb Exoskeleton Based on Multi-source Information

Lower Limb Exoskeletons(LLEs)are receiving increasing attention for supporting activities of daily.*** such active sy.tems,an intelligent controller may.be *** this paper,we proposed a locomotion intention recognition sy.tem based on time series data sets derived from human motion *** of input data and Deep Learning(DL)algorithms,this framework enables the detection and prediction of users’movement *** makes it possible to predict the detection of locomotion modes,allowing the LLEs to provide smooth and seamless *** pre-processed eight subjects were used as input to classify.four scenes:Standing/Walking on Level Ground(S/WOLG),Up the Stairs(US),Down the Stairs(DS),and Walking on Grass(WOG).The result showed that the ResNet performed optimally.compared to four algorithms(CNN,CNN-LSTM,ResNet,and ResNet-Att)with an approximate evaluation indicator of 100%.It is expected that the proposed locomotion intention sy.tem will significantly.improve the safety.and the effectiveness of LLE due to its high accuracy.and predictive performance.

The optical potential ambiguity.is a long-standing problem in the analy.is of elastic scattering *** a specific collid-ing sy.tem,ambiguous potential families can lead to different behaviors in the nearside and farside scattering *** contrast,the envelope method can decompose the experimental data into two components with negative and positive deflection angles,***,a question arises as to whether the comparison between the calculated nearside(or farside)component and the derived positive-deflection-angle(or negative-deflection-angle)component can help analy.e the potential ambiguity.*** this study.we conducted a trial application of the envelope method to the potential ambiguity.*** envelope method was improved by.including uncertainties in the experimental *** colliding sy.tems of 16O+28Si at 215.2 MeV and 12C+12C at 1016 MeV were considered in the *** each colliding sy.tem,the angular distribution experimental data were described nearly.equally.well by.two potential sets,one of which is“surface transpar-ent”and the other is *** calculated angular distributions were decomposed into nearside and farside scattering *** the improved envelope method,the experimental data were decomposed into the positive-deflection-angle and negative-deflection-angle components,which were then compared with the calculated nearside and farside *** capability.of the envelope method to analy.e the potential ambiguities was also discussed.

Design and Gait Planning of a Worm-inspired Metameric Robot for Pipe Crawling

The earthworm has been attracted much attention in the research and development of biomimetic robots due to their unique locomotion mechanism,compact structure,and small motion *** paper presents a new design and prototy.e of a worm-inspired metameric robot with a movement pattern similar to that of *** robot consists of multiple telescopic modules connected in series through joint *** telescopic module mimics the contraction and elongation motion modes of the earthworm segments.A kinematic and dy.amic analy.is is conducted on the telescopic module,and an input torque calculation method is provided to ensure sufficient friction between the robot and the pipe *** gait modes of the prototy.e robot for straight and turning locomotion are introduced,and these modes are extended to robots constructed by.different numbers of telescopic *** addition,a method is proposed to increase the friction between the robot and the pipe wall in the aforementioned gait modes without changing the robot structure,thereby.improving the robot’s motion ability.in *** theoretical model of gait modes has also been validated through gait *** findings of this paper would provide a useful basis for the design,modeling,and control of future worm inspired robots.

The rapid development of the anti-missile weapon technology.brings new challenges to the cooperative penetration strategy.solution and the guidance law design for Hy.ersonic Vehicles(HVs).This paper studies the coordinated game penetration guidance problem for multiple hy.ersonic vehicles faced with space threat areas.A scheme for seeking cooperative game penetration guidance strategy.under safety.critical control framework is *** this scheme,a multiHV cooperative game model is proposed in a minimum optimization form which can simplify.the solving process and accelerate the computing ***,a second-order control barrier function is developed to transform the implicit nonlinear constraints of the proposed model into linear *** order to obtain better performance of guidance strategy.a composite guidance law under the safety.critical control framework is presented to allocate guidance strategies appropriately.in the whole *** is shown that the proposed scheme can guarantee successful penetration while avoiding threat ***,a comparative simulation with a two-on-three game is conducted to verify.the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Numerical simulation study.on the hy.rothermal performance of building exterior walls under dy.amic wind-driven rain condition

Wind-driven rain(WDR)has a significant influence on the hy.rothermal performance,durability.and energy.consumption of building *** calculation of WDR loads using semi-empirical models has been incorporated into the boundary.conditions of coupled heat and moisture transfer ***,prior research often relied on fixed WDR absorption ratio,which fail to accurately.capture the water absorption characteristics of porous building materials under rainfall ***,this study.aims to investigate the coupled heat and moisture transfer of exterior walls under dy.amic WDR boundary.conditions,utilizing an empirically.obtained WDR absorption ratio model based on field *** developed coupled heat and moisture transfer model is validated against the HAMSTAD *** findings reveal that the total WDR flux calculated with the dy.amic WDR boundary.is lower than that obtained with the fixed WDR boundary.with greater disparities observed in orientations experiencing higher WDR *** variations in moisture flow significantly.impact the surface temperature and relative humidity.of the walls,influencing the calculation of cooling and heating loads by.different *** to the transient heat transfer model,the coupled heat and moisture transfer model incorporating dy.amic WDR boundary.exhibits maximum increases of 17.6%and 16.2%in cooling and heating loads,*** dy.amic WDR boundary.conditions provide more precise numerical values for surface moisture flux,offering valuable insights for the thermal design of building enclosures and load calculations for HVAC sy.tems.
