Mapping the trends and prospects of battery cathode materials based on patent landscape

Advancing portable electronics and electric vehicles is heavily dependent on the cutting-edge lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery technology, which is closely linked to the properties of cathode materials. Identifying trends and prospects of cathode materials based on patent analysis is considered a kernel to optimize and refine battery related markets. In this paper, a patent analysis is performed on 6 popular cathode materials by comprehensively considering performance comparison, development trend, annual installed capacity, technology life cycle, and distribution among regions and patent assignees. In the technology life cycle, the cathode materials majorly used in electric vehicle have entered maturity stage, while the lithium cobalt oxide (LCO) cathode that is widely used in portable electronics is still in the growth stage. In global patent distributions, China holds more than 50% of total patents. In the top 10 patent assignees of 6 cathode materials, 2 institutes are from China with the rest being Japan (6) and Republic of Korea (2), indicating that the technology of cathode materials in China is relatively scattered while cathode research is highly concentrated in Japan and Republic of Korea. Moreover, the patent distribution has to consider practical issues as well as the impacts of core patents. For example, the high cost discourages the intention of applying international patents. This paper is expected to stimulate battery research, understand technical layout of various countries, and probably forecast innovative technology breakthroughs.

基于主成分分析与聚类分析的花生新品种(系)脂肪酸综合评价

【目的】综合评价不同花生品种的脂肪酸成分,为筛选改良高油酸花生优异种质提供理论依据。【方法】对38份花生新品种(系)进行脂肪酸成分测定,比较分析不同类型花生脂肪酸成分含量差异,并对其进行主成分分析及聚类分析。【结果】9个品质性状具有丰富的遗传多样性,变异系数介于6.92%~91.75%,其中山嵛酸的变异系数最小(6.92),亚油酸的变异系数最大(91.75);遗传多样性指数介于0.44~1.28,其中油酸、亚油酸和棕榈酸的多样性指数大于1,棕榈酸的遗传多样性指数最大(1.28),木焦油酸最小(0.44)。通过对主要脂肪酸含量在高油酸和普通油酸品种中的比较分析表明,油亚比、亚油酸、油酸、棕榈酸和花生一烯酸含量在高油酸和普通油酸品种之间存在显著差异;油酸和亚油酸之和在不同油酸含量花生品种中占比具有差异,油酸含量低(80%)亚油酸和油酸含量之和均值分别为82.50%、83.52%;棕榈酸在高油酸花生品种中的含量显著降低。相关性分析表明在9个品质性状中,共检测到13组指标间呈极显著负相关,11组指标间呈极显著正相关。主成分分析将9个脂肪酸成分指标提取为3个主成分,累计贡献率达94.215%,包含大部分脂肪酸品质信息。在主成分及相关性分析中,木焦油酸含量提高有利于油酸含量、油亚比等的提高。聚类分析将38份品种分为7个类群,第Ⅰ类群棕榈酸、木焦油酸和亚油酸含量最高,花生一烯酸、油亚比和油酸含量最低;第Ⅱ类群硬脂酸、花生酸含量最高,第Ⅲ类群棕榈酸、花生酸、亚油酸和硬脂酸含量较高,第Ⅴ类群和第Ⅳ类群油酸含量明显高于其他类群,第Ⅶ类群山嵛酸含量最高。【结论】筛选出得分在0以上的花生有20份材料,占总供试材料的52.63%,其中16份花生评分大于1,可作为特殊性状基因来源为黄淮海花生种质资源研究与创新提供基础材料。

Rate Constants for Reaction Between Hydroxyl Radical and Dimethyl Sulfide Under Real Atmospheric Condition

The rate constants of the reaction between hydroxyl radical （OH-） and dimethyl sulfide （DMS） were investigated by using the relative methods in air, N2, and 02. Strong influences of ground state oxygen O（3p） on DMS consumption were found by the photolysis of HONO and CH3ONO as OH. sources, and the rate constants obtained in these systems varied significantly. The rate constants of the reaction between DMS and OH- （generated by photolysis of H2 O2） at room temperature were 8.56 × 10^-12, 11.31× 10^-12, and 4.50× 10^-12 cm3/（molecule.s）, in air, O2, and N2, respectively. The temperature dependence of the rate constants for OH- with DMS over the temperature range of 287-338 K was also investigated in nitrogen and air, and the Arrhenius expression was obtained as follows： kaire=（7.24±0.28）× 10^-13exp[（770.7±E97.2）/T], kN2 =（3.40±0.15） × 10^-11 exp[-- （590.3±165.9）/T].

Temperature dependence of the absolute rate constant for the reaction of ozone with dimethyl sulfide

Absolute rate constants for the reaction of ozone with dimethyl sulfide （DMS） were measured in a 200-L Teflon chamber over the temperature range of 283-353 K. Measurements were carried out using DMS in large excess over ozone of 10 to 1 or greater. Over the indicated temperature range, the data could be fit to the simple Arrhenius expression as kDMS = （9.96 ± 3.61） × 10^-11 exp （-（7309.7 ± 1098.2）/T） cm^3/（molecule.s）. A compared investigation of the reaction between ozone and ethene had a kC2H4 value of （1.35 ± 0.11） × 10^-18 cm^3/（molecule.s） at room temperature.

KFDA and clustering based multiclass SVM for intrusion detection

To improve the classification accuracy and reduce the training time, an intrusion detection technology is proposed, which combines feature extraction technology and multiclass support vector machine （SVM） classification algorithm. The intrusion detection model setup has two phases. The first phase is to project the original training data into kernel fisher discriminant analysis （KFDA） space. The second phase is to use fuzzy clustering technology to cluster the projected data and construct the decision tree, based on the clustering results. The overall detection model is set up based on the decision tree. Results of the experiment using knowledge discovery and data mining （KDD） from 99 datasets demonstrate that the proposed technology can be an an effective way for intrusion detection.

Surface-exchange of NOx and NH_3 above a winter wheat field in the Yangtze Delta, China

A four-dynamic-chamber system was constructed to measure NOx and NH3 surface-exchange between a typical wheat field and the atmosphere in the Yangtze Delta, China. The average fluxes of NO, NO2 and NH3 were 79, -5.6 and -5.1 ngN/（m^2·s）, and 91, -1.8 and 23 ngN/（m^2·s）, respectively for the wheat field and the bare soil. The NO flux was positively correlated with soil temperature and the fluxes of NO2 and NH3 were negatively correlated with their ambient concentrations during the investigated period. The compensation point of NO2 between the wheat field and the atmosphere was 11.9 μg/m3. The emissions of NO-N and NH3-N from the urea applied to the wheat field were 2.3% and 0.2%, respectively, which indicated that the main pathway of N loss from the investigated winter wheat field was NO. Application of a mixture of urea and lignin increased the emissions of NO, but also greatly increased the yield of the winter wheat.

Modified Tire-Slip-Angle Model for Chaotic Vehicle Steering Motion

The 5-DOF vehicle model employs the classical tire-slip-angle model to elicit the stability characteristics in vehicle handling during chaotic ***,the energy is not conserved,and the simulation results do not match actual behavior in that the vehicle should stop having lost *** have analyzed the limitations of the classical tire-slip-angle equation,and developed another model,which can be applied to all *** ensure the correct use of the Pacejka’s magic formula for vehicle dynamics,we discuss the differences in tire axis systems between the ISO and adapted SAE(Pacejka),and propose a transformation method relating the two different tire axis ***,simulations are described that are performed in accordance with the established 5-DOF vehicle system dynamics *** simulation results show that all states returned to the stable region after the vehicle had lost *** process involved energy dissipation,and approaches the response actually *** limitations of the classical tire-slip-angle model are fully displayed and the effectiveness of the proposed slip angle model is demonstrated in unsteady vehicle states.

A novel adaptive modulation and coding strategy based on partial feedback for enhanced MBMS network

The difference in link condition of broadcast/ multicast users and the limitation of uplink resource, make it difficult to utilize adaptive modulation and coding （AMC） in the enhanced multimedia broadcast and multicast service （E-MBMS） network. To obtain the improvement of system throughput, this study proposes an adaptive modulation and coding scheme based on partial feedback, by which only partial users whose channel qualities are lower than the system threshold need to make a response to the modulation coding scheme （MCS） adaptation procedure. By this investigation, an adaptive scheme can be introduced in the E-MBMS network. Both the theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed strategy, in which the performance is close to the ideal one and has a significant throughput improvement when compared with that of the fixed MCS transmission scheme.

The advancement of information technology has improved the delivery of nancial services by the introduction of Financial Technology(FinTech).To enhance their customer satisfaction,Fintech companies leverage articial intelligence(AI)to collect ne-grained data about individuals,which enables them to provide more intelligent and customized ***,although visions thereof promise to make customers’lives easier,they also raise major security and privacy concerns for their *** privacy(DP)is a common privacy-preserving data publishing technique that is proved to ensure a high level of privacy ***,an important concern arises from the trade-off between the data utility the risk of data disclosure(RoD),which has not been well *** this paper,to address this challenge,we propose data-dependent approaches for evaluating whether the sufcient privacy is guaranteed in differentially private data *** the same time,by taking into account the utility of the differentially private synthetic dataset,we present a data-dependent algorithm that,through a curve tting technique,measures the error of the statistical result imposed to the original dataset due to the injection of random ***,we also propose a method that ensures a proper privacy budget,i.e.,will be chosen so as to maintain the trade-off between the privacy and *** comprehensive experimental analysis proves both the efciency and estimation accuracy of the proposed algorithms.
