Low Temperature DC Sputtering Deposition on Indium-Tin Oxide Film and Its Application to Inverted Top-emitting Organic Light-emitting Diodes

Indium tin oxide （ITO） ultrathin films were prepared on glass substrate by DC （direct current） magnetron sputtering technique with the assistance of H2O vapor to avoid potential surface damage. The film properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD） technique, four-point probe method and spectrophotometer. The results show that the deposited ITO film with introduced H2O during sputtering process was almost amorphous. The average visible light transmission of 100 nm ITO film was around 85% and square resistivity was below 80 Ω/square. The film was used as the transparent anode to fabricate an inverted top-emitting organic light-emitting diodes （IT-OLEDs） with the structure of glass substrate/Alq3 （40 nm）/NPB （15 nm）/CuPc （x nm）/ITO anode （100 nm）, where the film thickness of CuPc was optimized. It was found that the luminance of this IT-OLEDs was improved from 25 cd/m^2 to more than 527 cd/m^2 by increasing the thickness of CuPc, and luminance efficiency of 0.24 lm/W at 100 cd/m^2 was obtained, which indicated that the optimized thickness of CuPc layer was around 15 nm.

Objective:To observe the protective effect of breviscapineon mice with cisplatin-induced ***:Mice were given a single injection of cisplalin(8 mg/kg,up.);then,breviscapine was given to mice at 25 mg/kg and 50 mg/kg doses,respectively,once a day for seven *** tissue structure was observed after animals were *** urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(Scr),lipid peroxide(MDA) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) serum levels were detected;and MDA,glutathione peroxidase,and SOD levels in the renal cortex were ***:Compared with the blank control group(BCG),the kidney pathological damage of mice in the model control group(MCG) was more *** applying different doses of breviscapine,different degrees of renal injury improvement *** with the BCG,the serum levels of Scr and BUN in the MCG increased to(89.92±6.78) μmoL/L and(15.32±4.53) mmoL/*** differences were statistical significant(P<0.01).Compared with the MCG,the serum levels of Scr and BUN in the Bre low-dose groups and Bre high-dose groups decreased significantly(P<0.05).Compared with the BCG,the MDA levels in serum and in the renal cortex in the MCG significantly increased,while the SOD levels significantly *** the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).In the Bre low-dose groups and Bre high-dose groups,MDA levels in serum and in the renal cortex significantly decreased,while SOD and glutathione peroxidase levels in the renal cortex significantly increased,compared with the MCG;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Breviscapine can reduce cisplatin induced renal toxicity in mice and it's possible through inhibition of renal tubule cell lipid peroxidation and reduces the nephrotoxicity of cisplatin.

BACKGROUND Diabetic nephropathy(DN)is the most frequent chronic microvascular consequence of diabetes,and podocyte injury and malfunction are closely related to the development of *** have shown that corilagin(Cor)has hepatoprotective,anti-inflammatory,antibacterial,antioxidant,anti-hypertensive,antidiabetic,and anti-tumor *** To explore the protective effect of Cor against podocyte injury in DN mice and the underlying *** Streptozotocin and a high-fat diet were combined to generate DN mice models,which were then divided into either a Cor group or a DN group(n=8 in each group).Mice in the Cor group were intraperitoneally injected with Cor(30 mg/kg/d)for 12 wk,and mice in the DN group were treated with *** analysis was used to measure the blood lipid *** and eosin staining was used to detect pathological changes in kidney *** and Western blotting were used to assess the protein expression of nephrin and *** podocyte cells(MPC5)were cultured and treated with glucose(5 mmol/L),Cor(50μM),high glucose(HG)(30 mmol/L),and HG(30 mmol/L)plus Cor(50μM).Real-time quantitative PCR and Western blotting RESULTS Compared with the control group,the DN mice models had increased fasting blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,triglycerides,and total cholesterol,decreased nephrin and podocin expression,increased apoptosis rate,elevated inflammatory cytokines,and enhanced oxidative *** of the conditions mentioned above were alleviated after intervention with *** addition,Cor therapy improved SIRT1 and AMPK expression(P<0.001),inhibited reactive oxygen species and oxidative stress,and elevated autophagy in HG-induced podocytes(P<0.01).CONCLUSION Cor alleviates podocyte injury by regulating autophagy via the SIRT1-AMPK pathway,thereby exerting its protective impact on renal function in DN mice.

Considering the intrinsic advantages of natural copiousness and cost-effectiveness of potassium resource,potassium-ion batteries(KIBs) are booming as prospective alternatives to lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) in large-scale energy storage scenarios. Nevertheless, lacking desirable electrodes for reversibly hosting the bulky K+hinders the widespread application of KIBs, and it needs to be urgently solved. Hereon, the porous S-doped Sb_(2)O_(3)-graphene-carbon(SAGC) nanofibers are manufactured through an adjustable and facile approach, which involves electrospinning, in situ etching and sulfuration. The synthesized SAGC is featured by the ultra-small amorphous Sb_(2)O_(3) homogeneously wrapped inside the carbon matrix, as well as the co-incorporation of graphene and sulfur. Tentatively,the SAGC nanofiber sheets are applied as binder-free anodes for KIBs, exhibiting a prominent cycling life(256.72 m Ah·g^(-1) over 150 cycles at 100 m A·g^(-1)) and rate·g^(-1) over 100 cycles at 1 A·g^(-1)). The positive synergy among all the active components accounts for the distinguished performances of the SAGC. By reinforcing the tolerability to the swelling stress, producing the valid electrochemical active sites, and promoting the charge transferring for reversible K+uptake, the SAGC finally renders the excellent cyclability, capacity, and rate capability. Moreover, the extrinsic electrochemical pseudocapacitance characteristics induced by the porous carbon substrate elevate the K-storage capacity of the SAGC as well. It is hoped that the conclusions drawn may offer new insights into a direction for the high-performance binderfree KIB anodes.

The initiation and progression of liver cancer, including hepatocellular carcinoma and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, are dependent on its tumor microenvironment. Immune cells are key players in the liver cancer microenvironment and show complicated crosstalk with cancer cells. Emerging evidence has shown that the functions of immune cells are closely related to cell metabolism. However, the effects of metabolic changes of immune cells on liver cancer progression are largely undefined. In this review, we summarize the recent findings of immunometabolism and relate these findings to liver cancer progression. We also explore the translation of the understanding of immunometabolism for clinical use.

The cellular fatty acids from a total of 62 strains of Torulopsis glabrata (T. glabrata), Saccharomyces cerevisiae (S. cerevisiae), Rhodotorula rubra (R. rubra), Candida krusei (C. krusei), Candida albicans (C. albicans) and Candida tropicalis (C. tropicalis) were examined by capillary gas chromatography. On the basis of fatty acid composition, all strains could be differentiated as to species. These results indicate that capillary gas chromatographic analysis of cellular fatty acids is likely to be useful for rapid identification or grouping of newer isolates of yeast species.

We study the magnetization of gapped spin 1/2 XXZ Heisenberg Ising chains and calculate the scattering length among massive spinons. We obtain the magnetization close to the critical external magnetic field. The leading correction term determined by the scattering length among massive spinons is given. Our results are in agreement with exact results and with experimental results. We show that the deviation from the massive free hard core boson picture can be accounted very well by the leading correction term due to the spinon-spinon interaction. We show that the deviation increases along with the increasing of the Ising term.
