The development of high-efficiency electrocatalysts for overall water splitting under large current density is significant and ***,a high-performing Fe-doped MoNi alloy catalyst(M-H-MoNiFe-50)abundant with flower-like nanorods assemblies has been prepared by high-pressure microwave reaction and hydrogen ***,Fe doped NiMoO_(4) precursor(M-MoNiFe-50)was synthesized by microwave fast heating,ensuring the robustness of nanorods,which owns larger area and improved catalytic activity than that by conventional hydrothermal ***,M-MoNiFe-50 was reduced in H_(2)/Ar to fabricate Fe-incorporated MoNi_(4) alloys(M-H-MoNiFe-50),greatly enhancing the conductivity and facilitating hydrogen/oxygen *** final M-H-MoNiFe-50 exhibits remarkable activity for alkaline/acidic hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction with low overpotential of 208(alkaline),254(acid)and 3.7 mV at 1,000 mA·cm^(−2).Moreover,an alkaline water electrolyzer is established using M-H-MoNiFe-50 as anode and cathode,generating a current density of 100 mA·cm^(−2) at 1.58 V with encouraging durability of 50 h at 1,000 mA·cm^(−2).The extraordinary water splitting performance can be chalked up to the large surface area,favorable charge transfer,modified electron distribution,intrinsic robustness as well as an efficient gas spillover of *** final electrocatalyst has great prospects for practical application and confirms the significance of Fe doping,microwave method and spillover effect for catalytic performance improvement.

Natural Homologous Triploidization and DNA Methylation in SARII-628,a Twin-seedling Line of Rice (Oryza sativa)

A total of five pairs of diploid-triploid twin-seedlings (a diploid seedling and a triploid seedling emerged from a grain) were selected out from 4500 pairs of seedlings from SARII-628, a twin-seedling rice line. SSR analysis indicated that no difference between the diploid seedling and corresponding triploid seedling in a twin-seedling was found at the 3.0 loci, indicating that there was no obvious change in DNA primary structure. A modified AFLP technique ‘MSAP (methylation-sensitive AFLP)’ was used to analyze methylation mutation. Although no methylation mutation was noted among the five diploids, 29 methylation mutation loci were found from the corresponding triploids. This suggested that methylation mutation happened rapidly on M0 generation after natural homologous triploidization. The mutations were classified into 10 types, including 3.increased types, 3.decreased types and 4 undecided types of methylation-degrees. The bands of 22 loci were sequenced and then those sequences were searched through website. The result showed that the methylation mutation involved into the whole rice genome and the 12 pairs of chromosomes. The mutation trend was site-related and there were different mutation loci for different triploids, which foretold that SARII-628 would have different evolution fates after natural homologous triploidization.

Inappropriate tillage practices and nitrogen(N) management have become seriously limitations for maize(Zea mays L.) yield and N use efficiency(NUE) in the North China Plain(NCP). In the current study, we examined the effects of strip deep rotary tillage(ST) combined with controlled-release(CR) urea on maize yield and NUE, and determined the physiological factors involved in yield formation and N accumulation during a 2-year field experiment. Compared with conventional rotary tillage(RT) and no-tillage(NT), ST increased the soil water content and soil mineral N content(Nmin) in the 20–40 cm soil layer due to reduction by 10.5 and 13.7% in the soil bulk density in the 0–40 cm soil layer, respectively. Compared with the values obtained by common urea(CU) fertilization, CR increased the Nmin in the 0–40 cm soil layers by 12.4 and 10.3. at the silking and maturity stages, respectively. As a result, root length and total N accumulation were enhanced under ST and CR urea, which promoted greater leaf area and dry matter(particularly at post-silking), eventually increasing the1 000-kernel weight of maize. Thus, ST increased the maize yield by 8.3.and 11.0% compared with RT and NT, respectively, whereas CR urea increased maize yield by 8.9% above the values obtained under CU. Because of greater grain yield and N accumulation, ST combined with CR urea improved the NUE substantially. These results show that ST coupled with CR urea is an effective practice to further increase maize yield and NUE by improving soil properties and N supply, so it should be considered for sustainable maize production in the NCP(and other similar areas worldwide).

The Global Influenza Surveillance Network is crucial for monitoring epidemic risk in participating countries. However, at present, the network has notable gaps in the developing world, principally in Africa and Asia where laboratory capabilities are limited. Moreover, for the last few years, various influenza viruses have been continuously emerging in the resource-limited countries, making these surveillance gaps a more imminent *** present a spatial-transmission model to estimate epidemic risks in the countries where only partial or even no surveillance data are available. Motivated by the observation that countries in the same influenza transmission zone divided by the World Health Organization had similar transmission patterns, we propose to estimate the influenza epidemic risk of an unmonitored country by incorporating the surveillance data reported by countries of the same transmission zone. Experiments show that the risk estimates are highly correlated with the actual influenza morbidity trends for African and Asian countries. The proposed method may provide the much-needed capability to detect, assess, and notify potential influenza epidemics to the developing world.

新闻视频的主体内容是一系列的新闻单元,准确地对新闻单元进行分割是新闻视频自动索引的重要依据,同时也是对新闻视频进行基于内容的视频分析的过程中所要解决的一个基本问题。由于新闻主持人口播镜头的开始通常是一个新闻单元的开始,所以检测新闻主持人口播帧是定位和分割新闻单元的有效途径。论文提出的基于规则分析的口播帧检测方法(DBRA,DetectionBasedonruleAnalysis)是一种全新的口播帧检测方法,该方法通过分析新闻视频口播帧具有的一些规则(亦可称其为特点),由计算机系统完全独立地对新闻视频进行分析、并自动检测出口播帧。该检测方法与现有的检测方法相比,不仅使用较为方便,而且具有一定的智能性。

The bulk synchronous parallel （BSP） model is very user friendly for coding and debugging parallel graph algorithms. However, existing BSP-based distributed graphprocessing frameworks, such as Pregel, GPS and Giraph, routinely suffer from high communication costs. These high communication costs mainly stem from the fine-grained message-passing communication model. In order to address this problem, we propose a new computation model with low communication costs, called LCC-BSE We use this model to design and implement a high-performance distributed graphprocessing framework called LCC-Graph. This framework eliminates high communication costs in existing distributed graph-processing frameworks. Moreover, LCC-Graph also balances the computation workloads among all compute nodes by optimizing graph partitioning, significantly reducing the computation time for each superstep. Evaluation of LCC-Graph on a 3.-node cluster, driven by real-world graph datasets, shows that it significantly outperforms existing distributed graph-processing frameworks in terms of runtime, particularly when the system is supported by a highbandwidth network. For example, LCC-Graph achieves an order of magnitude performance improvement over GPS and GraphLab.

Frequent itemset mining serves as the main method of association rule *** the limitations in computing space and performance,the association of frequent items in large data mining requires both extensive time and effort,particularly when the datasets become increasingly *** the process of associated data mining in a big data environment,the MapReduce programming model is typically used to perform task partitioning and parallel processing,which could improve the execution effciency of the ***,to ensure that the associated rule is not destroyed during task partitioning and parallel processing,the inner-relationship data must be stored in the {3. *** inner-relationship data are redundant,storage of these data will significantly increase the space usage in comparison with the original *** this study,we find that the formation of the frequent pattern(FP)mining algorithm depends mainly on the conditional pattern *** on the parallel frequent pattern(PFP)algorithm theory,the grouping model divides frequent items into several groups according to their *** propose a non-group PFP(NG-PFP)mining algorithm that cancels the grouping model and reduces the data redundancy between ***,we present the NG-PFP algorithm for task partition and parallel processing,and its performance in the Hadoop cluster environment is analyzed and *** results indicate that the non-group model shows obvious improvement in terms of computational effciency and the space utilization rate.
