Significant controversies exist with regards to the optimal management of lateral pelvic lymph nodes metastases(mLLN)in patients with low rectal *** differing views held by Japanese and Western clinicians on the management of mLLN have been well ***,the adequacy of pelvic lymph node dissection(PLND)or neoadjuvant chemoradiation(NACRT)alone in addition to total mesorectal excision(TME)have recently come into question,due to the relatively high incidence of lateral local recurrences following PLND and TME,or NACRT and TME ***,a more selective approach to PLND has been suggested,involving a combination of neoadjuvant therapy,followed by PLND only to patients in whom the oncological benefit is likely to outweigh the risk of potential adverse events.A number of studies have attempted to retrospectively identify certain nodal characteristics on preoperative imaging,such as nodal size,appearance,and size reduction following neoadjuvant ***,no consensus has been reached regarding the optimal criteria for a selective approach to PLND,partly due to the heterogeneity and retrospective nature of most of these *** review aims to provide an overview of recent evidence with regards to the diagnostic challenges,considerations for,and outcomes of the current management strategies for mLLN in rectal cancer patients.

Dear Editor, PD-L1, also known as CD274, plays a vital role in tumor cell related immune escape. It can be expressed on the cell surface of many solid tumors （Brahmer et al., 2012） and inhibits T cell proliferation and cytokine production by bind- ing to the Tcell surface receptor programmed death 1 （PD-1） or B7-1 （McClanahan et al., 2015）. In 2013, targeting PD-1/ PD-L1 signaling for cancer immunotherapy was selected as the No.1 scientific breakthrough of the year by the editors of Science. Interferons （IFNs） are a group of pleiotropic cytokines, demonstrated anti-viral, anti-tumor, and immune regulatory functions （York et al., 2015）. Type I interferon binds a heterodimeric receptor composed of IFNAR1 and IFNAR2. This activates a canonical JAK/STAT signaling pathway that ultimately induces a set of interferon-stimulated genes to exert its biological activity （Ejlerskov et al., 2015）. Recently, PD-L1 was reported to be downstream of IFN signaling in human oral squamous carcinoma, melanoma, and human acute myeloid leukemia blast cells （Chen et al., 2012; Furuta et al., 2014; Kronig et al., 2014）.

Based on Lyapunov stability theorem, a method is proposed for feedback synchronization with parameters perturbation and external disturbances. It is proved theoretically that if the perturbation and disturbances are bounded, the synchronization error can be ensured to approach to and stay within the pre-specified bound which can be arbitrarily small. Some typical chaotic systems with different types of nonlinearity, such as Lorenz system and the original chua’s circuit, are used for detailed description. The simulation results show the feasibility of the method.

There has been little study of the biogeography of soil archaeal communities on a regional *** a previous study,we found that variation in bacterial communities on the Tibetan Plateau was strongly determined by soil C:N ***,using an 16 SrRNA archaeal primer,we characterized the archaeal communities of 94 Tibetan soil samples scattered across an area of 1,000,000 *** results showed that Thaumarchaeota(79.27%) and Halobacteria(8.75%) were the dominant phyla across all the soils,together accounting for at least 88%of the archaeal reads in every *** terms of alpha diversity,OTU and phylogenetic diversity(PD) were both negatively correlated with soil moisture(r=-0.47,P < 0.01;r=-0.35,P< 0.01,respectively),and soil moisture also had a significant influence on soil archaeal community *** distance,a potential measure of the legacy effect of evolutionary and dispersal factors,was less important than measured environmental factors in determining the broad scale archaeal community pattern across the Tibetan *** close correlation was encountered between soil bacterial diversity and archaeal *** findings provide new insights into the ecology of soil archaea in semi-arid environments,for example the strong influence of soil moisture on archaeal community composition and *** correlations may allow better prediction of future responses of soil archaea to environmental change.

Apple bot canker [Botryosphaeria dothidea（Moug.） *** de Not.] is distributed worldwide,resulting in a serious crop loss every year in apple（Malus domestica Borkh.） *** resistance of each seedling derived from a hybrid population（jonathan×Golden Delicious） was evaluated by disease index either from natural infection in the field or from inoculation with five isolates of ***,Ls1,Lw023,Lw048,Mx1,and *** inheritance of the resistance to bot canker was analyzed via frequency distribution analysis,and microsatellite and AFLP markers linked to the resistance loci were *** the binary frequency distribution patterns,it was found that the segregation ratio of resistant/susceptible genotypes infected by pathogen isolates Lw023 and Ls1 was 1：15;and that by Zz26 and Mx1 was 15：*** variation of resistance was involved in the segregation of two to four alleles of major genes,the resistance was recessive when infected by Lw023 and Ls1,but was dominant when infected with Mx1 and Zz26.A microsatellite maker,CH02a04-450,and two AFLP markers,E-AG/M-GAC-280 and E-AGG/M-CTT-110,were identified,and their map distances to the resistance loci were 5.1,5.1 and 6.2 cM,*** three markers are located in different linkage groups,while CH02a04-450 is on linkage group 2 or 7.E-AG/M-GAC-280 was successfully converted into ***,CH02a04-450 and SCAR159 were re-examined in inoculated segregation population and presented a good reliability on predicting phenotypes of resistance.

Background:China's coastal wetlands belong to some of the most threatened ecosystems *** loss and degradation of these wetlands seriously threaten waterbirds that depend on ***:The China Coastal Waterbird Census was organized by volunteer birdwatchers in China's coastal *** were surveyed synchronously once every month at 14 sites,as well as irregularly at a further 18 sites,between September 2005 and December ***:A total of 75 species of waterbirds met the 1 % population level Ramsar listing criterion at least once at one *** number of birds of the following species accounted for over 20 % of the total flyway populations at a single site:Mute Swan(Cygnus olor),Siberia Crane(Grus leucogeranus),Far Eastern Oystercatcher(Haematopus osculans),Bar-tailed Godwit(Limosa lapponica),Spotted Greenshank(Tringa guttifer),Great Knot(Calidris tenuirostris),Spoon-billed Sandpiper(Calidris pygmeus),Saunders' s Gull(Larus saundersi),Relict Gull(Larus relictus),Great Cormorant(Phalacrocorax carbo),Eurasian Spoonbill(Platalea leucorodia),Black-faced Spoonbill(Platalea minor) and Dalmatian Pelican(Pelecanus crispus).A total of 26 sites supported at least one species of which their number met the1 % ***-two species met the 1 % criterion in the Yellow River Delta,Shandong;29 at the Cangzhou coast,Hebei and 26 species at the Lianyungang coast,***:The results highlight the international importance of China's coastal wetlands for *** study also demonstrates that participation of local birdwatchers in waterbird surveys results in data that are invaluable not only for understanding the current status of waterbirds in China's coastal regions but also for waterbird conservation and management.

Synthesis and biological evaluation of new peroxo-bridged diosgenin derivatives

Objective： In order to find lead compound with anti-HBV activity from peroxo-bridged diosgenin deriva- tives obtained with Eosin Y as the photosensitizer. Method： Eosin Y was used as the photosensitizer to activate the oxygen in the air to synthesize novel diosgenin derivatives with peroxo-bridge. The structures of synthesized compounds were identified by NMR and HR-MS. Their cytotoxicity and antihepatitis B activity were evaluated via MTS assay and ELISA method, respectively. Results： Six diosgenin derivatives were synthesized, three of which contained peroxo-bridge, and their structures were confirmed by spectroscopy. It showed that 5a,8a-peroxo-6-alkenyl-diosgenin （7） could suppress the production of HBsAg on transfected HepG2.2.15 cells at low-toxic concentration and the in- hibition rate on HepG2.2.15 cells was 18.28% at 12.50 μg/mL, better than that of 3TC （7.30% at 12.50 μg/mL） and others. Conclusion： Due to its lower cytotoxicity and potential anti-hepatitis B activity, compound 7 could be developed as the promising candidate of anti-hepatitis B drug. It also indicated that the peroxo-bridged derivatives had potential biological values for developing clinical agents.

针对含有故障的混沌系统,利用非线性系统Euler近似离散化方法,将采样控制系统转换为离散时间系统,并针对控制器容易出现的一类故障建立数学模型,设计故障观测器,进而给出了容错同步控制器的设计方法以及误差系统渐近稳定的充分条件,有效地实现两个混沌系统的同步.所设计的控制器增益可以通过Matlab提供的线性矩阵不等式(LMI)工具箱来求解.数值仿真实现了两个蔡氏电路的同步,并通过与文献算法的对比,验证了所设计采样同步控制器的有效性和容错能力.

针对复杂网络包含节点较多,且其节点状态测量成本过高的问题,提出复杂网络输出反馈量化同步控制方法。为了减轻信号传输对网络带宽的压力,采用对数量化器对控制输入信号进行量化,并利用范数有界不确定性的方法处理控制量化问题。通过设计状态观测器获得网络节点的状态估计值,以此为基础给出了复杂网络的输出反馈量化同步控制器的设计方法。通过求解线性矩阵不等式,可同时获得观测器增益矩阵和控制器增益矩阵。根据Lyapunov稳定性理论,证明了观测误差动态系统以及同步误差动态系统的渐近稳定性。最后,利用蔡氏电路网络的仿真验证了所提方法的可行性和有效性。
