Dual-phase and three-phase grating x-ray interference is a promising new technique for grating-based x-ray differential phase contrast ***-phase grating interferometers have been relatively completely studied and *** this paper,the corresponding imaging fringe formula of the three-phase grating interferometer is *** the same time,the similarities and differences between the three-phase grating interferometer and the dual-phase grating interferometer are investigated and verified,and that the three-phase grating interferometer can produce large-period moiréfringes without using the analyzing grating is demonstrated ***,a simple method of designing three-phase grating and multi-grating imaging systems from geometric optics based on the thin-lens theory of gratings is *** theoretical formulas and experimental results provide optimization tools for designing three-phase grating interferometer systems.

Background:Treatment of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MrSA)biofilm infections in implant placement surgery is limited by the lack of antimicrobial activity of titanium(Ti)*** is a need to explore more effective approaches for the treatment of MrSA biofilm ***:Herein,an interfacial functionalization strategy is proposed by the integration of mesoporous polydopamine nanoparticles(pDA),nitric oxide(NO)release donor sodium nitroprusside(SNp)and osteogenic growth peptide(OGp)onto Ti implants,denoted as Ti-pDA@*** physical and chemical properties of Ti-pDA@SNp-OGp were assessed by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscope,water contact angle,photothermal property and NO release *** synergistic antibacterial effect and elimination of the MrSA biofilms were evaluated by 2′,7′-dichlorofluorescein diacetate probe,1-N-phenylnaphthylamine assay,adenosine triphosphate intensity,O-nitrophenyl-β-D-galactopyranoside hydrolysis activity,bicinchoninic acid *** staining,assays for alkaline phosphatase activity,collagen secretion and extracellular matrix mineralization,quantitative real‑time reverse transcription‑polymerase chain reaction,and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)were used to evaluate the inflammatory response and osteogenic ability in bone marrow stromal cells(MSCs),rAW264.7 cells and their co-culture *** staining,ELISA,micro-CT,hematoxylin and eosin,Masson's trichrome and immunohistochemistry staining were used to evaluate the eradication of MrSA biofilms,inhibition of inflammatory response,and promotion of osseointegration of Ti-pDA@SNp-OGp in ***:Ti-pDA@SNp-OGp displayed a synergistic photothermal and NO-dependent antibacterial effect against MrSA following near-infrared light(NIr)irradiation,and effectively eliminated the formed MrSA biofilms by inducing reactive oxygen species(rOS)-mediated oxidative stress,destroying bacterial membrane integrity and

Vegetation canopies intercept and redistribute rainfall into throughfall and stemflow,which transfer substantial amounts of elements into the soil,influencing soil microbial community,plant survival,and plant community *** advancements in ecohydrological research,the implication of nutrient enrichment resulting from this redistribution of rainfall by canopies remains largely *** address this gap,we conducted a systematic review of 1020 papers published between 2000 and 2022,gathering data on nutrient concentration and enrichment for critical ions(including K^(+),Na^(+),Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+),NH_(4)^(+),Cl^(-),NO_(3)^(-)and SO_(4)^(2-))from the Web of Science and Chinese Knowledge Infrastructure *** aimed to synthesize the mechanisms,quantify the enrichments,and identify global patterns of nutrient enrichment in stemflow and throughfall across climate zones,and vegetation types and *** results of this study indicate that stemflow exhibits,on average,2.1times greater ion concentration(6.13 mg L^(-1))compared to *** particular,among the investigated ions,SO_(4)^(2-)(12.45and 6.32 mg L^(-1))for stemflow and throughfall,respectively,and Cl^(-)(9.21 and 4.81 mg L^(-1))exhibit the highest concentrations in both rainfall redistribution components,while K^(+)(13.7 and 5.8)and Mg^(2+)(5.6 and 2.8)have the highest enrichment *** climate zones,throughfall and stemflow show the lowest ion concentrations but the highest enrichment factors in extremely humid *** the temperature gradient,ion concentrations are the highest in cold climates with no clear patterns observed for enrichment factors with increasing *** addition,shrubs,conifers,mixed forests,and artificial ecosystems demonstrate enrichment factors 1.1 to 3.0 times greater than those of trees,broad-leaved plants,pure forests,and natural *** findings emphasize the need for increased attentions to artificial ecosystems,such as urban

phase manipulation of MoS_(2) from thermodynamically stable 2H phase to the unstable but more reactive 1T phase represents a crucial strategy for improving the reactivity in many *** widely adopted wet chemistry approach uses intercalating entities especially alkali metal ions to achieve the phase transition;however,these entities are normally inert for the target ***,we describe the first use of iron atoms for the intercalation of 2H-MoS_(2) layers,driving the partial transition from 2H to 1T ***,in the peroxymonosulfate(pMS)-based Fenton-like reactions,the interlayered confinement of Fe atoms not only activates the inert basal plane,but also adds more reactive Fe sites for the formation of metal-pMS complex as primary reactive species for pollutant *** the degradation of a model pollutant carbamazepine(CBZ),the Fe-intercalated MoS_(2) exhibits a first order rate constant 13.3 times higher than 2H-MoS_(2).This strategy is a new direction for manipulating the phase composition and boosting the catalytic reactivity of MoS_(2)-based catalysts in various scenarios,including environmental remediation and energy applications.

The use of oseltamivir,widely stockpiled as one of the drugs for use in a possible avian influenza pandemic,has beenreported to be associated with neuropsychiatric disorders and severe skin reactions,primarily in *** we identi-fied a nonsynonymous SNp(single nucleotide polymorphism)in dbSNp database,r41 Q,near the enzymatic active siteof human cytosolic sialidase,a homologue of virus neuraminidase that is the target of *** SNp occurredin 9.29% of Asian population and none of European and African American *** structural analyses and Kimeasurements using in vitro sialidase assays indicated that this SNp could increase the unintended binding affinity ofhuman sialidase to oseltamivir carboxylate,the active form of oseltamivir,thus reducing sialidase *** addition,this SNp itself results in an enzyme with an intrinsically lower sialidase activity,as shown by its increased Km anddecreased Vmax *** administration of oseltamivir to people with this SNp might further reduce theirsialidase *** note the similarity between the reported neuropsychiatric side effects of oseltamivir and the knownsymptoms of human sialidase-related *** propose that this Asian-enriched sialidase variation caused by theSNp,likely in homozygous form,may be associated with certain severe adverse reactions to oseltamivir.

The global trend towards new energy storage systems has stimulated the development of electrochemical energy storage *** these technologies,rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have attracted considerable interest as a potential alternative to lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to their affordable cost,environmental compatibility and high safety *** this study,a high-quality electrode for AZIBs has been successfully developed using a dehydrated mixed-valence polyoxometalate-based three-dimensional(3D)inorganic framework material known as[H_6Mn_(3)V^Ⅳ_(15)V-^Ⅴ_(4O)_(46)(H_2O)_(12)](3D-MnVO).This innovative 3D-MnVO material is built from the alternate connections of{V_(19)O_(46)}"sphere-shaped"clusters andμ_(2)-{Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)}bridges,where each{V_(19)O_(46)}cluster is surrounded by three pairs of vertically distributed{Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)}units,thus resulting in the 3D interpenetrating grid-like network from the infinite[-{V_(19)O_(46)}-μ_(2)-Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)-{V_(19)O_(46)}]_∞chains in three mutually perpendicular *** 3D framework structure of 3D-MnVO possesses abundant oxygen vacancies,spacious and multi-level interconnected channels for ion transport,which facilitates the efficient intercalation/deintercalation of hydrated Zn^(2+)into the pores of the primary structure via the intercalation capacitance *** a result,the 3D-MnVO electrode exhibits excellent diffusion rates and minimal interfacial *** a current density of 0.1 A·g^(-1),the 3D-MnVO cathode delivers a commendable discharge capacity of170.5 mAh·g^(-1)with 81.6%capacity retention after100 charge/discharge ***,even at a high current density of 1.0 A·g^(-1),the 3D-MnVO electrode delivers a remarkable reversible capacity of198.9 mAh·g^(-1).Our research results provide valuable insights into the development of advanced polyoxometalate-based 3D inorganic framework electrode materials for high-performance rechargeable AZIBs.
