The ex-situ incorporation of the secondary SiC reinforcement,along with the in-situ incorporation of the tertiary and quaternary Mg_(3)N_(2) and Si_(3)N_(4) phases,in the primary matrix of Mg_(2)Si is employed in order to provide ultimate wear resistance based on the laser-irradiation-induced inclusion of N_(2) gas during laser powder bed *** is substantialized based on both the thermal diffusion-and chemical reactionbased metallurgy of the Mg_(2)Si–SiC/nitride hybrid *** study also proposes a functional platform for systematically modulating a functionally graded structure and modeling build-direction-dependent architectonics during additive *** strategy enables the development of a compositional gradient from the center to the edge of each melt pool of the Mg_(2)Si–SiC/nitride hybrid ***,the coefficient of friction of the hybrid composite exhibits a 309.3%decrease to–1.67 compared to–0.54 for the conventional nonreinforced Mg_(2)Si structure,while the tensile strength exhibits a 171.3%increase to 831.5 MPa compared to 485.3 MPa for the conventional *** outstanding mechanical behavior is due to the(1)the complementary and synergistic reinforcement effects of the SiC and nitride compounds,each of which possesses an intrinsically high hardness,and(2)the strong adhesion of these compounds to the Mg_(2)Si matrix despite their small sizes and low concentrations.

BACKGROUND Benign rectal strictures can be categorized as primary(disease-related)and secondary(surgical anastomosis-related).Secondary strictures arise from surgical complications,whereas primary strictures have diverse etiologies,including various inflammatory *** strictures are usually managed by surgery and *** present an unusual etiology of benign rectal stricture caused by the repeated insertion of foreign objects into the rectum for sexual purposes,resulting in rectal injury and subsequent chronic *** SUMMARY A 53-year-old man presented to the outpatient clinic of the Colorectal Surgery Department with symptoms of chronic constipation and bloody *** patient previously experienced rectal injury due to foreign object insertion for sexual *** revealed benign circumferential narrowing of the *** underwent treatment by endoscopic argon plasma coagulation and balloon dilation and follow-up as an outpatient for 4 months.A colonoscopy at the end of the follow-up period revealed no evidence of rectal stricture *** A history of rectal injury,followed by chronic inflammation,should be considered in patients with benign rectal *** with endoscopic argon plasma coagulation and balloon dilation can prevent the need for surgical resection of benign rectal strictures.

随着化石燃料燃烧导致的二氧化碳排放不断加剧气候变化,且化石燃料储量日益减少,寻求可再生能源已成为一项紧迫的任务.其中,藻类衍生可持续燃料因具有成本优势和可运输性,在解决全球能源危机方面展现出广阔前景,备受关注.利用化学转化技术从微藻中提取脂质,并通过酯交换反应可以将其转化为脂肪酸甲酯,是生产绿色生物燃料的有效途径.这一过程涉及游离脂肪酸、磷脂和甘油三酯的提取,并且生产过程能耗低,成为满足日益增长的能源需求的一种理想解决方案.本文综述了微藻脂质提取和酯交换制备生物燃料的相关研究进展.首先,介绍了微藻脂质的提取方法,包括溶剂提取法、索氏提取法、布利格和戴耶法、超临界二氧化碳提取以及离子液体溶剂法等,并分析了各方法的优缺点.随后,重点阐述了酯交换技术在微藻脂质转化中的应用,包括酸碱催化、酶催化以及原位酯交换反应等,并探讨了这些技术的反应机理、催化剂选择、反应器设计以及生物油生产工艺等方面的研究进展.通过综述上述研究进展,为微藻脂质的生产和应用提供了理论指导.研究表明,通过优化催化剂种类、反应条件以及提取方法,可以有效提高微藻脂质的转化效率和生物油品质.同时,本文也指出了当前微藻脂质生产中面临的挑战,如微藻栽培和生长条件优化、高效转化技术的开发等.随着可持续能源日益受到重视,微藻脂质作为一种可再生能源具有巨大的发展潜力.未来研究应进一步关注微藻的规模化栽培、生长条件优化以及高效转化技术的研发,以提高微藻脂质的产量和品质.同时,应进一步推动和实现微藻生物燃料的实际应用,从而为应对气候变化和能源危机提供有效的解决方案.

BACKGROUND Effective bowel cleansing is essential for a successful ***,such as polyethylene glycol,are commonly used for bowel *** is a frequent complication during bowel preparation,and forceful vomiting can potentially lead to esophageal perforation,as reported in several previous ***,pharyngeal perforation during bowel preparation has not been previously ***,we present a case of pharyngeal perforation induced by forceful vomiting during bowel *** SUMMARY A 38-year-old man with a history of hypertension,dyslipidemia,diabetes mellitus,and end-stage renal disease on hemodialysis was admitted for evaluation of recurrent abdominal *** patient complained of sudden pain in the neck,throat,and anterior chest following forceful vomiting during bowel *** examination revealed crepitus under the skin of the neck and anterior chest on palpation,and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy revealed pharyngeal *** perforation site was located above the upper esophageal sphincter,which distinguished it from Boerhaave’s *** medical management was chosen after consultation with a thoracic surgeon and an otolaryngologist,considering the patient's mild symptoms,stable vital signs,and the small size of the lesion;the perforation resolved without endoscopic or surgical *** patient was discharged from hospital two weeks after the *** Despite its rarity,pharyngeal perforation should be considered a potential complication of bowel preparation for colonoscopy.

On-demand modification of the electronic band structures of high-mobility two-dimensional(2D)materials is of great interest for various applications that require rapid tuning of electrical and optical responses of solid-state *** electrically tunable superlattice(SL)potentials have been proposed for band structure engineering of the Dirac electrons in graphene,the ultimate goal of engineering emergent quasiparticle excitations that can hybridize with light has not been *** show that an extreme modulation of one-dimensional(1D)SL potentials in monolayer graphene produces ladder-like electronic energy levels near the Fermi surface,resulting in optical conductivity dominated by intersubband transitions(ISBTs).A specific and experimentally realizable platform comprising hBN-encapsulated graphene on top of a 1D periodic metagate and a second unpatterned gate is shown to produce strongly modulated electrostatic *** find that Dirac electrons with large momenta perpendicular to the modulation direction are waveguided via total internal reflections off the electrostatic potential,resulting in flat subbands with nearly equispaced energy *** predicted ultrastrong coupling of surface plasmons to electrically controlled ISBTs is responsible for emergent polaritonic quasiparticles that can be optically *** study opens an avenue for exploring emergent polaritons in 2D materials with gate-tunable electronic band structures.

Plant–pollinator metanetworks in fragmented landscapes: a simulation study

Background The topology of the plant–pollinator network can be explained by the species' abundance and their random interactions. Plant–pollinator networks can be studied in the context of a landscape, because each patch can accommodate a certain local network. Local populations of pollinators in the landscape can be connected through migration and then constitute a metanetwork that is known as a combination of spatial and ecological networks. In this regard, habitat fragmentation can affect the topology of plant–pollinator metanetworks through changes in the species abundance and limiting their interactions. However, it is not clear what pattern(fragmented or aggregated) of the landscape structure can accommodate networks with a higher degree of *** we created simulated landscapes with different forest proportions scenarios(from 5% to 50% of the total landscape) and degrees of fragmentation. Then, for each landscape, we limited the proportion of pollinators to the forest patch. We assumed that plants and pollinators are randomly distributed around the landscape and interact randomly. We used landscape metrics to measure different aspects of landscape structure and bipartite metrics for calculating the degree of specialization in plant–pollinator *** The statistical relationship between bipartite and landscape metrics showed that the relationship between the topology of plant–pollinator networks and the landscape structure is affected by the forest amount in the landscape and the degree of forest fragmentation. We also found that according to the nestedness and H2(a measure of specialization) metrics, fragmented landscapes contain more general plant–pollinator *** Our findings suggest that fragmented landscapes, characterized by scattered forest patches, can promote higher levels of interaction between limited pollinators and diverse flowers, leading to more general plant–pollinator networks.

American Sign Language(ASL)images can be used as a communication tool by determining numbers and letters using the shape of the ***,ASL can have an key role in communication for hearing-impaired persons and conveying information to other persons,because sign language is their only channel of *** ASL recognition methods primarily adopt images,sensors,and pose-based recognition techniques,and employ various gestures together with *** study briefly reviews these attempts at ASL recognition and provides an improved ASL classification model that attempts to develop a deep learning method with *** the proposed model,the collected ASL images were clustered based on similarities in shape,and clustered group classification was first performed,followed by reclassification within the *** experiments were conducted with various groups using different learning layers to improve the accuracy of individual image *** selecting the optimized group,we proposed a meta-layered learning model with the highest recognition rate using a deep learning method of image *** proposed model exhibited an improved performance compared with the general classification model.
