A 499.8 MHz SOLEIL-ty.e superconducting cavity.was simulated and designed for the first time in this paper. The higher-order mode (HOM) properties of the cavity.were investigated. Two kinds of coaxial HOM couplers were designed. Using 4 L-ty.e and 4 T-ty.e HOM couplers, the longitudinal impedance was suppressed to 3 kΩ, and the transverse impedance below 30 kΩ/m. The HOM damping requirements of Hefei Advanced Light Facility.(HALF) were satisfied. This paper conducts an in-depth study.on the radio frequency.(RF) design, multipacting optimization, and thermal analy.is of these coaxial couplers. Simulation results indicated that under operating acceleration voltage, the optimized couplers does not exhibit multiplicating or thermal breakdown phenomena. The cavity.has the potential to reach a higher acceleration gradient.

Background: With public health emergencies (PHE) worldwide increasing, the perceived risk of PHE has been one of the critical factors influencing college students’ psy.hological distress. However, the mechanisms by.which the perceived risk of PHE affects college students’ psy.hological distress are not clear. The study.s purpose was to investigate the mediation roles of deviation from a balanced time perspective (DBTP) and negative coping sty.es between the perceived risk of PHE and psy.hological distress. Methods: A convenience sampling method was used to survey.1054 Chinese college students with self-reporting. Data was collected using the Public Risk Perception Scale (PRPS), the Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory.(ZTPI), the Simplified Coping Sty.e Questionnaire (SCSQ), the PHE Anxiety.Scale, and the Chinese version of the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ). The associations between the perceived risk of PHE, DBTP, negative coping sty.es, and psy.hological distress were clarified using the correlation analy.is. Additionally. the mediating roles of DBTP and negative coping sty.es between the perceived risk of PHE and psy.hological distress were investigated using a structural equation model. Results: The findings revealed low to moderate correlations between the variables studied. Students’ perceived risk of PHE was a positive predictor of their psy.hological distress (b = 0.219, p y.es play.d chain mediation roles between them with the effect being 0.009 and a 95% Boot CI of [0.003, 0.023]. This chain mediation model had an excellent fit index (χ2/df = 4.732, CFI = 0.973, TLI = 0.930, RMSEA = 0.048, SRMR = 0.047). Conclusion: These findings showed how the perceived risk of PHE affected college students’ psy.hological distress. Centric relation (CR) was used in the complete dentures for edentulous jaws firstly. Then, CR was gradually.applied in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of dentate jaws. Regarding the application of CR in dentate jaws, there are many.doubts about its rationality. For instance, should CR be the core of diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular disorders? Should CR be used as the jaw position of establishing occlusion in occlusal reconstruction? Should CR serve as the target jaw position in orthodontic treatment? Meanwhile, varieties of CR clinical applications are objective. According to the existing evidence, this paper summarizes the applicable conditions of several main clinical situations with little controversy. We preliminarily.put forward the decision tree for the clinical application of CR, which can be used as a reference in clinical practice. © 2024 Editorial Department of West China Journal of Stomatology. The Effect of Procrastination on Phy.ical Exercise among College Students—The Chain Effect of Exercise Commitment and Action Control

Background: Exercise procrastination is prevalent among college students, causing decline in phy.ical fitness. It is imperative to investigate the mechanism affecting college students’ phy.ical activity.behaviors. This study.was aimed at investigating the effect of procrastination on college students’ phy.ical exercise behavior, and the chain mediation effects of exercise commitment and action control (AC), to provide a theoretical basis for interventions targeting phy.ical exercise behavior among college students. Methods: A questionnaire survey.was conducted using convenience sampling. The General Procrastination Scale, Exercise Commitment Scale, Action Control Scale, and Phy.ical Activity.Rating Scale-3 questionnaires were used. Participants were 581 college students (age 19.27 ± 0.94 y.ars; 243 males and 338 females). Statistical methods of regression analy.is and structural equation modeling (SEM) were applied. Results: Procrastination, exercise commitment, and action control were found to be significant predictors of phy.ical exercise behavior. Among these predictors, exercise commitment and action control showed full mediation effects in the relationship between procrastination and phy.ical exercise behavior, and explained 25.48% and 30.77% of the total variance, respectively. The chain mediation effect of exercise commitment-action control was significant, accounting for 22.60% of the total variance, and the total indirect effect was 79.33%. Conclusion: Therefore, higher procrastination was associated with less participation in phy.ical exercise behavior among college students. Improvements in exercise commitment and volitional decision-making ability.for phy.ical exercise behavior promoted phy.ical exercise behavior, and increased exercise commitment promoted volitional decision-making ability.among the students. Background: Adolescent anxiety.has a significant impact on phy.ical and mental health, and overparenting is recognized as one of the major factors affecting adolescent anxiety. The objective of this study.was to investigate the relationship between overparenting and adolescent anxiety. while also examining the mediating role of cognitive avoidance. Methods: Data were collected through a cross-sectional survey.with 1931 valid responses using the Overparenting Scale, the Cognitive Avoidance Scale, and the Anxiety.Self-Rating Scale. A structural equation modelling approach was used to test the mediating role of cognitive avoidance between overparenting and adolescent anxiety.and to reveal the underly.ng mechanisms. The significance of the mediating effect was assessed based on maximum likelihood estimation. Differences in the mediating role of cognitive avoidance in the male and female samples were comparatively.analy.ed in the mediation effect analy.is. Results: The study.s findings reveal a significant positive correlation between overparenting and adolescent anxiety.(p y.(p y. Overparenting can not only.directly.predict adolescent anxiety.but also indirectly.predict it through the mediating role of cognitive avoidance. Conclusion: This study.validates the direct effect of overparenting on adolescent anxiety.and reveals the mechanism of cognitive avoidance as a mediator. © 2024 The Authors.

Coal-fired power plants are a major carbon source in China. In order to assess the evaluation of China’s carbon reduction progress with the promise made on the Paris Agreement, it is crucial to monitor the carbon flux intensity.from coal-fired power plants. Previous studies have calculated CO2 emissions from point sources based on Orbiting Carbon Observatory.2 and -3 (OCO-2 and OCO-3) satellite measurements, but the factors affecting CO2 flux estimations are uncertain. In this study. we employ.a Gaussian Plume Model to estimate CO2 emissions from three power plants in China based on OCO-3 XCO2 measurements. Moreover, flux uncertainties resulting from wind information, background values, satellite CO2 measurements, and atmospheric stability.are discussed. This study.highlights the CO2 flux uncertainty.derived from the satellite measurements. Finally. satellite-based CO2 emission estimates are compared to bottom-up inventories. The satellite-based CO2 emission estimates at the Tuoketuo and Nongliushi power plants are ∼30 and ∼10 kt d−1 smaller than the Open-Data Inventory.for Anthropogenic Carbon dioxide (ODIAC) respectively. but ∼10 kt d−1 larger than the ODIAC at Baotou. © Institute of Atmospheric Phy.ics/Chinese Academy.of Sciences, and Science Press 2024.

Towards Improving the Quality.of Requirement and Testing Process in Agile Software Development: An Empirical Study

Software testing is a critical phase due to misconceptions about ambiguities in the requirements during specification, which affect the testing process. Therefore, it is difficult to identify.all faults in software. As requirement changes continuously. it increases the irrelevancy.and redundancy.during testing. Due to these challenges; fault detection capability.decreases and there arises a need to improve the testing process, which is based on changes in requirements specification. In this research, we have developed a model to resolve testing challenges through requirement prioritization and prediction in an agile-based environment. The research objective is to identify.the most relevant and meaningful requirements through semantic analy.is for correct change analy.is. Then compute the similarity.of requirements through case-based reasoning, which predicted the requirements for reuse and restricted to error-based requirements. Afterward, the apriori algorithm mapped out requirement frequency.to select relevant test cases based on frequently.reused or not reused test cases to increase the fault detection rate. Furthermore, the proposed model was evaluated by.conducting experiments. The results showed that requirement redundancy.and irrelevancy.improved due to semantic analy.is, which correctly.predicted the requirements, increasing the fault detection rate and resulting in high user satisfaction. The predicted requirements are mapped into test cases, increasing the fault detection rate after changes to achieve higher user satisfaction. Therefore, the model improves the redundancy.and irrelevancy.of requirements by.more than 90% compared to other clustering methods and the analy.ical hierarchical process, achieving an 80% fault detection rate at an earlier stage. Hence, it provides guidelines for practitioners and researchers in the modern era. In the future, we will provide the working prototy.e of this model for proof of concept. Soil salinization is a globally.prevalent abiotic environmental stress. The imbalance of ions caused by.high concentrations of sodium chloride results in a 40% reduction in soy.ean y.eld. Soy.ean, as an important crop for soil quality.improvement, necessitates the identification of salt-tolerant varieties and germplasms to effectively.utilize and enhance saline-alkali land. In this study. we assessed the salt tolerance of 435 soy.ean varieties and germplasms during the seedling stage. Among them, Qihuang34, y.u2104, Hongzhudou, Pamanheidou, and Osage exhibited grade 1 salt tolerance rates surpassing other tested materials. Furthermore, Hongzhudou and Qihuang34 demonstrated higher salt tolerance during germination and emergence stages based on their elevated rates of emergence, salt tolerance index, chlorophy.l content, and shoot fresh weights. Overall findings provide valuable resources for molecular breeding efforts aimed at developing salt-tolerant soy.ean varieties suitable for cultivation in saline-alkali soils. © 2024 the Oil Crop Research Institute, Chinese Academy.of Agriculture Sciences
