Genetic Diversity among Some Sheep Breeds in Sulaimani Governorate Using RAPD-PCR Technique

RAPD （Random amplified polymorphic DNA） markers were used to study genetic diversity among three Kurdish sheep breeds （the Karadi, Hamdani and Jaff） with the Awassi sheep breed. A total of 40 samples were typed using twenty RAPD primers. Ten out of the twenty primers had clear bands, which used to investigate the genetic variations among breeds. One of the ten primers is monomorphism. A total of 109 bands were scored, of which 46 bands （46.56%） were polymorphic and 18 of polymorphic band were unique bands. For all breeds, Nei＇s gene diversity, Shannon index, percentage of polymorphic loci and unique bands are respectively in the range of 0.32 to 0.50, 0.44 to 0.69, 31.81 to 100, and 2 to 8. Using UPGMA （unweighted pair-group method with arithmetic average） dendrogram, the three clusters, the 1st cluster branch consisted of the Karadi sheep breed, the 2nd cluster was include both of the Jaff and Hamdani sheep breeds and the 3rd one included Awassi sheep breed. These results indicated that the Karadi sheep is most genetically distant from the Awassi sheep （0.916）. The Jaff and Hamdani sheep in the 2nd cluster indicate a close relationship between them and the results indicated that the Jaff and Hamdani sheep breeds were closer to Awassi sheep breed than to the Karadi sheep breed. The dendrograms show that there are high genetic distances among sheep breeds, and were ranged from 0.223 between Hamdani and Jaff sheep breeds to 0.916 between Karadi and Awassi sheep breeds. Based on the high degree of genetic distance among the four sheep breeds it is concluded that the four sheep breeds arc independent and isolated breeds.

Comparative analysis of jet and underlying event properties across various models as a function of charged particle multiplicity at 7 TeV

In this study,a comprehensive analysis of jets and underlying events as a function of charged particle multiplicity in proton-proton(pp)collisions at a center-of-mass energy of √s=7 TeV is *** Monte Carlo(MC)event generators,including Pythia8.308,EPOS 1.99,EPOSLHC,EPOS4_(Hydro),and EPOS4_(noHydro),are employed to predict particle *** predictions from these models are compared with experimental data from the CMS *** charged particles are categorized into those associated with underlying events and those linked to jets,and the analysis is restricted to charged particles with|η|0.25 GeV/*** comparing the MC predictions with CMS data,we find that EPOS4_(Hydro),EPOSLHC,and Pythia8 consistently reproduce the experimental results for all charged particles,underlying events,intrajets,and leading charged *** charged jet rates with p_T^(***)>5 GeV/c,EPOS4_(Hydro)and Pythia8 perform exceptionally *** the case of charged jet rates with p_T^(***)→30 GeV/c,EPOSLHC reproduces satisfactorily good results,whereas EPOS4 Hydro exhibits good agreement with the data at higher charged particle multiplicities compared to the other *** can be attributed to the conversion of energy into flow when"Hydro=on"leading to an increase in *** EPOSLHC model describes the data better owing to the new collective flow effects,correlated flow treatment,and parameterization compared to EPOS ***,the examination of the jet p_T spectrum and normalized charged p_T density reveals that EPOS4_(Hydro),EPOS4_(noHydro),and EPOSLHC exhibit good agreement with the experimental results,whereas Pythia8 and EPOS 1.99 do not perform as well owing to the lack of correlated flow treatment.

Estimation of crowd count is becoming crucial nowadays,as it can help in security surveillance,crowd monitoring,and management for different *** is challenging to determine the approximate crowd size from an image of the crowd’s *** in this research study,we proposed a multi-headed convolutional neural network architecture-based model for crowd counting,where we divided our proposed model into two main components:(i)the convolutional neural network,which extracts the feature across the whole image that is given to it as an input,and(ii)the multi-headed layers,which make it easier to evaluate density maps to estimate the number of people in the input image and determine their number in the *** employed the available public benchmark crowd-counting datasets UCF CC 50 and ShanghaiTech parts A and B for model training and testing to validate the model’s *** analyze the results,we used two metrics Mean Absolute Error(MAE)and Mean Square Error(MSE),and compared the results of the proposed systems with the state-of-art models of crowd *** results show the superiority of the proposed system.

Thyroid disorders represent a significant global health challenge with hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism as two common conditions arising from dysfunction in the thyroid *** and timely diagnosis of these disorders is crucial for effective treatment and patient *** research introduces a comprehensive approach to improve the accuracy of thyroid disorder diagnosis through the integration of ensemble stacking and advanced feature selection *** forward feature selection,sequential backward feature elimination,and bidirectional feature elimination are investigated in this *** ensemble learning,random forest,adaptive boosting,and bagging classifiers are *** effectiveness of these techniques is evaluated using two different datasets obtained from the University of California Irvine-Machine Learning Repository,both of which undergo preprocessing steps,including outlier removal,addressing missing data,data cleansing,and feature *** experimentation demonstrates the remarkable success of proposed ensemble stacking and bidirectional feature elimination achieving 100%and 99.86%accuracy in identifying hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism,*** enhancing detection accuracy,the ensemble stacking model also demonstrated a streamlined computational complexity which is pivotal for practical medical *** significantly outperformed existing studies with similar objectives underscoring the viability and effectiveness of the proposed *** research offers an innovative perspective and sets the platform for improved thyroid disorder diagnosis with broader implications for healthcare and patient well-being.
