Background Minimally invasive surgery(MIS)for spontaneous supratentorial intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH)is controversial but may be beneficial if end-of-treatment(EOT)haematoma volume is reduced to≤15 *** explored whether MRI findings of cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD)modify the effect of MIS on long-term *** Prespecified blinded subgroup analysis of 288 subjects with qualified imaging sequences from the phase 3 Minimally Invasive Surgery Plus Alteplase for Intracerebral Haemorrhage Evacuation(MISTIE)*** tested for heterogeneity in the effects of MIS and MIS+EOT volume≤15 mL on the trial’s primary outcome of good versus poor function at 1 year by the presence of single CSVD features and CSVD scores using multivariable *** Of 499 patients enrolled in MISTIE III,288 patients had MRI,149(51.7%)randomised to MIS and 139(48.3%)to standard medical care(SMC).Median(IQR)ICH volume was 42(30–53)*** the full MRI cohort,there was no statistically significant heterogeneity in the effects of MIS versus SMC on 1-year outcomes by any specific CSVD feature or by CSVD scores(all P_(interaction)>0.05).In 94 MIS patients with EOT ICH volume≤15 mL,significant reduction in odds of poor outcome was found with cerebral amyloid angiopathy score<2(OR,0.14(0.05–0.42);P_(interaction)=0.006),absence of lacunes(OR,0.37(0.18–0.80);P_(interaction)=0.02)and absence of severe white matter hyperintensities(WMHs)(OR,0.22(0.08–0.58);P_(interaction)=0.03).Conclusions Following successful haematoma reduction by MIS,we found significantly lower odds of poor functional outcome with lower total burden of CSVD in addition to absence of lacunes and severe *** features may have utility for prognostication and patient selection in clinical trials of MIS.

Objective:To evaluate the combination therapy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate against Babesia in vitro and in ***:Bioinformatic analysis was performed using atom pair *** in vitro combination test was performed against Babesia bovis and Theileria ***,the in vivo chemotherapeutic efficacy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate in combination with diminazene aceturate was investigated against the growth of Babesia microti in mice using a fluorescence inhibitory ***:Pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate exhibited nearly similar molecular *** in vitro combination of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate was synergistic on Babesia bovis and additive on Theileria *** addition,5 mg/kg pyronaridine tetraphosphate combined with 10 mg/kg diminazene aceturate inhibited Babesia microti growth significantly compared with those observed after treatment with 25 mg/kg diminazene aceturate alone from day 6 post treatment to day 12 post *** combination therapy also normalized the hematological parameters of infected ***:An oral dose of pyronaridine tetraphosphate combined with a subcutaneous dose of diminazene aceturate inhibits Babesia in vitro and in mice,suggesting it might be a new paradigm for the treatment of babesiosis.

Introduction Egypt is a Low-Middle Income Country(LMIC)with a population of 106,472,382 people in August 2022(Worldometers&Department of Economic and Social Affairs,2022).Available evidence suggests that there are misuse/overuse of antibiotic in Egypt[1].On recognizing the global threat of antibiotic resistance(AMR),Egypt launched the National Action Plan(NAP)in *** comprehensive plan,inspired by the Global Action Plan(GAP),united diverse stakeholders like ministries,universities,and international *** NAP tackled AMR through four key strategies:boosting public understanding of antibiotics,optimizing their use across humans and animals,embracing a“One Health”approach,and implementing effective infection prevention practices[2].

以小米椒和玉米粉为原料,植物乳植杆菌XZ3和生香酵母菌Y50为菌种,制作一款混菌发酵鲊辣椒。以鲊辣椒的模糊感官评分为响应值,采用Box-Behnken中心组合设计试验对鲊辣椒混菌发酵工艺进行优化,并测定其产品的功能性成分。结果表明,混菌发酵鲊辣椒的最优发酵条件为:植物乳植杆菌XZ3与生香酵母菌Y50的比例为1∶1、混菌添加量为2.5%、食盐添加量为4%、发酵时间6 d。在此优化条件下,鲊辣椒的感官评分为8.45分。与不接种自然发酵鲊辣椒和利用植物乳植杆菌XZ3纯种发酵的鲊辣椒进行对比,发现优化后的混菌发酵鲊辣椒的香气更突出。进一步测定其功能性成分发现,混菌发酵鲊辣椒中多酚组分含量最高且种类检出最多,其总酸含量、辣椒碱含量和总黄酮含量都显著高于自然发酵鲊辣椒。除此之外,相比于其他两种,混菌发酵鲊辣椒中甜味氨基酸的含量上升,苦味氨基酸的比例降低。该研究为混菌发酵鲊辣椒的生产提供了有益参考。

Evaluation of the Neurodevelopmental Outcome of Toddlers with Spinal Dysraphism after Surgical Repair Using ASQ-3^™ Scores

Background: Spinal dysraphism represents a wide spectrum of congenital abnormalities of the spine. Myelomeningocele is considered the most common malformation and the most common we saw in our community, with its morbidity problems seen commonly in the postoperative period. ASQ-3TM Scores are the ages and stages questionnaire, third edition, and represent a tool to assess the development progress, especially in toddlers. Objectives: Evaluation of neurodevelopmental outcome among Sudanese toddlers with spinal dysraphism after surgical closure with or without a VP shunt using ASQ-3TM Scores. Methodology: This is a retrospective hospital-based study of 84 patients who underwent myelomeningocele repair at the National Center for Neurological Sciences (NCNS) during the period from 2017 up to 2019. Data were collected through a constructed questionnaire, including ASQ-3TM Scores. Data were processed and analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) computer program. Version 25. Results: 84 patients were included in this study;all patients were diagnosed with spinal dysraphism. Out of them, 51 (60.7%) were 2 years old, 33 (39.3%) were 3 years old, 45 (53.6%) were male, 45 (53.6%) of patients mothers attended ANC irregularly, and 54 (64.3%) their mothers didn’t receive folate supplements. 44 (52.3%) of patients underwent MMC repair only, while 40 (47.7%) underwent MMC repair and VP shunt. The commonest postoperative complication was infection, reported in 12 (14.3%) of patients, followed by VP shunt revision in 9 (10.7%) of patients. Neurological assessment showed that the majority of patients need further assessment with a professional, 57 (67.9%) of children don’t walk, run, or climb like other toddlers as their parent’s state;also, half of patients (42, 50%) had medical problems, and 27 (32.1%) of their parent’s state that they do not talk like other toddlers their age. Roll-pitch-yaw autopilot design for nonlinear time-varying missile using partial state observer based global fast terminal sliding mode control

The acceleration autopilot design for skid-to-turn （STT） missile faces a great challenge owing to coupling effect among planes, variation of missile velocity and its parameters, inexistence of a complete state vector, and nonlinear aerodynamics. Moreover, the autopilot should be designed for the entire flight envelope where fast variations exist. In this paper, a design of integrated roll-pitch-yaw autopilot based on global fast terminal sliding mode control （GFTSMC） with a partial state nonlinear observer （PSNLO） for STT nonlinear time-varying missile model, is employed to address these issues. GFTSMC with a novel sliding surface is proposed to nullify the integral error and the singularity problem without application of the sign function. The proposed autopilot consisting of two-loop structure, controls STT maneuver and stabilizes the rolling with a PSNLO in order to estimate the immeasurable states as an output while its inputs are missile measurable states and control signals. The missile model considers the velocity variation, gravity effect and parameters＇ variation. Furthermore, the environmental conditions＇ dynamics are mod- eled. PSNLO stability and the closed loop system stability are studied. Finally, numerical simulation is established to evaluate the proposed autopilot performance and to compare it with existing approaches in the literature.

Enhancing Network Intrusion Detection Model Using Machine Learning Algorithms

After the digital revolution,large quantities of data have been generated with time through various *** networks have made the process of data analysis very difficult by detecting attacks using suitable *** Intrusion Detection Systems(IDSs)secure resources against threats,they still face challenges in improving detection accuracy,reducing false alarm rates,and detecting the unknown *** paper presents a framework to integrate data mining classification algorithms and association rules to implement network intrusion *** experiments have been performed and evaluated to assess various machine learning classifiers based on the KDD99 intrusion *** study focuses on several data mining algorithms such as;naïve Bayes,decision trees,support vector machines,decision tables,k-nearest neighbor algorithms,and artificial neural ***,this paper is concerned with the association process in creating attack rules to identify those in the network audit data,by utilizing a KDD99 dataset anomaly *** focus is on false negative and false positive performance metrics to enhance the detection rate of the intrusion detection *** implemented experiments compare the results of each algorithm and demonstrate that the decision tree is the most powerful algorithm as it has the highest accuracy(0.992)and the lowest false positive rate(0.009).

Neurogenic bowel dysfunction in patients with spinal cord injury, myelomeningocele, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease
