Studies from the Far East have demonstrated that D2-dissection is superior to D0/1-dissection. The effect of postoperative chemoradiotherapy(CRT) after D2-dissection has not been accepted due to the lack of D2-dissection in Western countries, as well as the potential harmful effect of radiotherapy. In the current NCCN guideline, adjuvant chemotherapy alone is recommended in D2-dissected patients. However, three recent prospective randomized controlled trials in South Korea and China(ARTIST, NCC and Multicenter IMRT Trials) demonstrated that adjuvant CRT can be safely administered to D2-dissected patients with notable benefits. To identify the role of radiotherapy(RT) in the D2-dissected postoperative setting, clinical research attempts should include(1) identification of high-risk patients for loco-regional recurrence who might benefit from CRT;(2) modification of RT target volume based on the findings that failure patterns should be different after D1- and D2-dissection; and(3) integration of new RT techniques to decrease treatment-related toxicity. The present paper is a review of recent studies addressing these fields. Well-designed prospective randomized studies are needed to clearly define the role of adjuvant CRT in D2-dissected gastric cancer, however, future clinical studies should also focus on answering these questions.

To the Editor:Although regional anesthesia provides prolonged post-operative analgesia,there is no suitable method that can facilitate an early reversal of the blockade until the duration of action of the local anesthetic has elapsed.A large quantity of saline is used to reverse the central neuraxial block.[1,2]However,to our knowledge,no study has reported a method for reversing nerve blockade in peripheral nerve blocks,especially costoclavicular ***,we report a case of dramatic recovery of both motor and sensory functions after saline injection through the catheter in a patient who was administered a continuous costoclavicular block for analgesia after shoulder surgery.

To the Editor:Transmuscular quadratus lumborum block(TQLB)is known to provide visceral analgesia by blocking sympathetic fibers by spreading into the thoracic paravertebral spaces.[1]It is relatively safer than other conventional methods of ***,to our knowledge,there have been no reports of hoarseness associated with ***,we report two cases of hoarseness and discomfort to the throat after TQLB.

本文采用铜导电油墨在聚酰亚胺(PI)薄膜上进行喷墨印刷形成铜导电层,并研究基于铜络合物的铜导电油墨与柔性基材的相关性。本研究首先采用氧等离子体对PI薄膜表面进行改性,以测试接触角来表征改性前后薄膜表面性能的变化。通过优化等离子体反应参数使接触角降低。再利用喷墨印刷在改性前后PI薄膜上沉积铜导线,在200℃氢气环境下进行热处理,印制铜线发生烧结而收缩。采用光学显微镜(OM)、场发射扫描电子显微镜(FESEM)、X射线衍射(XRD)、非接触式三维轮廓仪和四点探针分析铜导线形状、微观结构、晶体结构及电导率。结果表明,经氧等离子体改性的PI基材上可成功沉积具有纯铜相的连续铜导线且具有良好的烧结微观结构,同时确定了铜导电油墨与基材表面性能的相关性。

In this paper, we demonstrate the low-power functionality of silicon nanowire （SiNW）-assembled inverters on bendable plastics. Our bendable inverters are capable of operating at supply voltages as low as 0.8 V with a switching （or standby） power consumption of -0.2 nW （or -6.6 pW）. The low-power inverting operation with a voltage gain of -18 is attributable to the near-ideal characteristics of the component transistors that have selectively thinned SiNW channels and exhibit low, symmetrical threshold voltages of 0.40 and -0.39 V and low subthreshold swing values of 81 and 65 mV/dec. Moreover, mechanical bendability reveals that the inverting operation has good, stable fatigue properties.

In this paper, we propose a novel construction of silicon nanowire （SiNW） negative-AND （NAND） logic gates on bendable plastic substrates and describe their electrical characteristics. The NAND logic gates with SiNW channels are capable of operating with a supply voltage as low as 0.8 V, with switching and standby power consumption of approximately 1.1 and 0.068 nW, respectively. Superior electrical characteristics of each SiNW transistor, including steep subthreshold slopes, high Ion/off ratio, and symmetrical threshold voltages, are the major factors that enable nanowatt-range power operation of the logic gates. Moreover, the mechanical bendability of the logic gates indicates that they have good and stable fatigue properties.

Objective:To investigate the antioxidant activity of soil-borne ***:The total phenolic contents,the level of antioxidant potential by DPPH radical scavenging activity,MO scavenging activity,and ABTS radical scavenging activity in ethyl acelale extract were ***:The 16 S rDNA sequencing analysis revealed that Streptomyces *** MJM *** was isolated from Hambak ***,has 99.9% similarity to Streptomyces misionensis(***) NBRC *** physiological and the morphological test revealed that the strain MJM 10778 has different characteristics from the strain *** entire antioxidant assay with the ethyl acelale extract displayed good radical scavenging *** IC_(50) values of the strain MJM 10778 extract on DPPH,.*** ABTS radicals were identified to he 92.8 μg/mL,0.02 μg/ml,and 134.9 μg/mL,*** ethyl acetate extract of the strain MJM 10778 showed an 81.500% of cell viability at 100 μg/mL in Raw264.7cell viability ***:The results obtained suggesl that the ethyl acetate extract of Streptomyces *** MJM 10778 could be considered as a potential source of drug for the diseases that is caused by free radicals with its anti-oxidant activities and low cytotoxicity.

Herein, we report a simple and effective preparation of ultrafine CNFs （u-CNFs） with high surface area via electrospinning of two immiscible polymers [polyacrylonitrile （PAN） and poly（methyl methacry- late）（PMMA）] followed by calcination at high temperature in an inert atmosphere. Various electrospinning conditions were optimized in detail. Four different kinds of PAN/PMMA ratios （10/0, 7：3, 5：5 and 3：7） were chosen and found that the PAN/PMMA ratio of 3：7 （PAN/PMMA-3：7） is the optimum one. BET anal- ysis showed the specific surface area of the u-CNFs-3：7 was 46Z57 m2/g with an excellent pore volume （1.15 cms g-l） and an average pore size （9.48 nm）： it is about 25 times higher than the conventional CNFs （c-CNFs）. TEM and FE-SEM images confirmed the ultrafine structure of the CNFs with a thinner fiber di- ameter of-50 nm. The graphitic nature and atomic arrangement of the u-CNFs were investigated by Raman and XPS analyses. For the supercapacitor application, unlike the common electrode preparation methods, the u-CNFs-3：7 was used without any activation, chemical or mechanical modifications. The u-CNFs- 3：7 showed a better specific capacitance of 86 Fig in 1 mol/L 1-12S04 when compared to pure CNFs. The excellent physicochemical properties make the u-CNFs-3：7 an alternative choice to the existing CNFs for the supercapacitors.
