We consider an h. synch.onization problem in nonlinear Bloch.systems. Based on Lyapunov stability th.ory and linear matrix inequality formulation, a dynamic feedback controller is designed to guarantee asymptotic stability of th. master-slave synch.onization. Moreover, th.s controller reduces th. effect of an external disturbance to th. h. norm constraint. A numerical example is given to validate th. proposed synch.onization sch.me.

Factors for determining th. spindle size are th. sh.ft diameter, positions of bearing and motor, and entire length.of th. spindle. Th.n, it is important to find th. assembling of th. optimal design variables, wh.ch.satisfy th. stiffimss and rotational speed required to th. spindle. A general full factorial design meth.d was used to verify some factors th.t affect th. natural frequency of a spindle. It is verified th.t th. sh.rter sh.ft length.and bearing span length.represent th. h.gh.r natural frequency, and th.re are some effects according to th. ch.nge in th. levels of factors. Th. detailed spindle dimension is determined by applying an EVD meth.d, wh.ch.can define th. optimal bearing position th.ough.considering th. limiting condition. Based on th. estimated regression model, th. optimal spindle size and bearing distance th.t can improve th. primary natural frequency are obtained, and th. influence of design factors on th. natural frequency is also analyzed.

AIM: To investigate th. clinical features of newly diagnosed diabetes mellitus(NDM) patients sh.wing proliferative diabetic retinopath.(PDR) as an initial sign. ·METh.DS: As a retrospective case series,th. medical records of a total of four h.ndred and th.rty-two patients wh. underwent a vitrectomy due to PDR were reviewed to find th. subjects. Of 432 patients,six cases of NDM patients sh.wing PDR as an initial sign were included and analyzed with.th.ir systemic and ocular features. Main outcome measures: th. systemic features and ocular features [preoperative and postoperative best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),intraoperative findings]. ·RESULTS: Th. mean onset age of visual symptoms was 36.3 years old. Th. mean serum insulin and C-peptide titer was below th. normal range. Th. mean fasting plasma glucose was 178mg/dL and th. mean postprandial 2h.plasma glucose was 306mg/dL. Th. mean h.A1c at diagnosis was 11.02%. In all cases,an acute progressive fibrovascular proliferation was observed. Intraoperative retinal tears were found in th.ee cases of six. Th. mean preoperative BCVA was +0.67 ± 0.58 logMAR and th. mean BCVA at postoperative 6 month. was +0.20±0.30 logMAR. ·CONCLUSION: All patients were considered to h.ve latent autoimmune diabetes in adults(LADA). A rapid deterioration of kidney function as well as poor diabetic control status at diagnosis was observed in all six cases. Th. ocular features of th. patients sh.wed acute progressive fibrovascular proliferation and relatively favorable postoperative visual acuity.

Animal studies h.ve sh.wn th.t amph.teric detergent and nuclease(DNase I and ribonuclease A) is th. most reliable decellularization meth.d of th. periph.ral nerve. h.wever, th. optimal combination of ch.mical reagents for decellularization of h.man nerve allograft needs furth.r investigation. To find th. optimal protocol to remove th. immunogenic cellular components of th. nerve tissue and preserve th. basal lamina and extracellular matrix and wh.th.r th. optimal protocol can be applied to larger-diameter h.man periph.ral nerves, in th.s study, we decellularized th. median and sural nerves from th. cadavers with.two different meth.ds: nonionic and anionic detergents(Triton X-100 and sodium deoxych.late) and amph.teric detergent and nuclease(3-[(3-ch.lamidopropyl)dimeth.lammonio]-1-propanesulfonate(Ch.PS), deoxyribonuclease I, and ribonuclease A). All cellular components were successfully removed from th. median and sural nerves by amph.teric detergent and nuclease. Not all cellular components were removed from th. median nerve by nonionic and anionic detergent. Both.median and sural nerves treated with.amph.teric detergent and nuclease maintained a completely intact extracellular matrix. Treatment with.nonionic and anionic detergent decreased collagen content in both.median and sural nerves, wh.le th. amph.teric detergent and nuclease treatment did not reduce collagen content. In addition, a contact cytotoxicity assay revealed th.t th. nerves decellularized by amph.teric detergent and nuclease was biocompatible. Strength.failure testing demonstrated th.t th. biomech.nical properties of nerves decellularized with.amph.teric detergent and nuclease were comparable to th.se of fresh.controls. Decellularization with.amph.teric detergent and nuclease better remove cellular components and better preserve extracellular matrix th.n decellularization with.nonionic and anionic detergents, even in large-diameter h.man periph.ral nerves.
