Recently,user recognitionmethods to authenticate personal identity has attracted significant attention especially with increased availability of various internet of things(IoT)services through fifth-generation technology(5G)based mobile *** EMG signals generated inside the body with unique individual characteristics are being studied as a part of nextgeneration user recognition ***,there is a limitation when applying EMG signals to user recognition systems as the same operation needs to be repeated while maintaining a constant strength of muscle over ***,it is necessary to conduct research on multidimensional feature transformation that includes changes in frequency features over *** this paper,we propose a user recognition system that applies EMG signals to the short-time fourier transform(STFT),and converts the signals into EMG spectrogram images while adjusting the time-frequency resolution to extract multidimensional *** proposed system is composed of a data pre-processing and normalization process,spectrogram image conversion process,and final classification *** experimental results revealed that the proposed EMG spectrogram image-based user recognition system has a 95.4%accuracy performance,which is 13%higher than the EMGsignal-based *** a user recognition accuracy improvement was achieved by using multidimensional features,in the time-frequency domain.

Organic electrolyte-gated transistors(OEGTs) have the benefits of low power consumption and large current ***,the electrical performance of n-type OEGTs lags far behind that of p-type *** this study,we design a series of polymers,P(NDITEG-T) and P(NDIMTEG-T),comprising a naphthalene diimide backbone for n-type charge transport and oligo(ethylene glycol)(OEG) side chains for high ionic conductivity and eco-friendly solution *** incorporation of the OEG chain facilitates the electrochemical doping of the semiconductor by ions to realize high-performance,n-type ***,in OEGTs,P(NDITEG-T) achieves a high electron mobility of 1.0 × 10^(-1) cm^(2) V^(-1) s^(-1),which represents the highest value reported for solution-processed,n-type *** is noted that the fabrication of the OEGTs is achieved by solution processing with eco-friendly ethanol/water mixtures in virtue of the hydrophilic OEG *** work demonstrates the molecular design of the P(NDITEG-T) polymer and its significant ability to produce aqueous-processable,high-performance,and n-type OEGTs.

In optics,the refractive index of a material and its spatial distribution determine the characteristics of light ***,exploring both low-and high-index materials/structures is an important consideration in this *** cavities,which are defined as low-index bases,exhibit a variety of unusual or even unexplored optical characteristics and are used in numerous functionalities including diffraction gratings,localised optical antennas and low-loss *** this report,we discuss the fabrication of hollow cavities of various sizes(O.2-5μm in diameter)that are supported by conformal dielectric/metal shells,as well as their specific applications in the ultraviolet(photodetectors),visible(light-emitting diodes,solar cells and metalenses),near-infrared(thermophotovoltaics)and mid-infrared(radiative coolers)*** findings demonstrate that hollow cavities tailored to specific spectra and applications can serve as versatile optical platforms to address the limitations of current optoelectronic ***,hollow cavity embedded structures are highly elastic and can minimise the thermal stress caused by high *** such,future applications will likely include high-temperature devices such as thermophotovoltaics and concentrator photovoltaics.

Advanced heterolytic H_(2) adsorption of K-added Ru/MgO catalysts for accelerating hydrogen storage into aromatic benzyltoluenes

Herein,we report a highly active K-added Ru/MgO catalyst for hydrogen storage into aromatic benzyltoluenes at low temperatures to advance liquid organic hydrogen carrier *** hydrogenation activity of Ru/K/MgO catalysts exhibits a volcano-shaped dependence on the K content at the maximum with 0.02 wt%.This is in good agreement with the strength and capacity of H_(2) adsorption derived from basicity,despite a gradual decrease in the textural property and the corresponding increase in the Ru particle size with increasing the K *** functional theory calculations show that heterolytic hydrogen adsorption properties(strength and polarization)are facilitated up to a specific density of K on the Ru–MgO interface and excessive K suppresses heterolytic H_(2) adsorption by direct interaction between K and hydrogen,assuring the hydrogenation activity and H_(2) adsorption capability of Ru/K/MgO ***,the Ru/K/MgO catalyst,when K is added in an optimal amount,is highly effective to accelerate hydrogen storage kinetics at low temperatures owing to the enhanced heterolytic H_(2) adsorption.

Distinctive clinical features of spontaneous pneumoperitoneum in neonates: A retrospective analysis

BACKGROUND Spontaneous pneumoperitoneum(SP) without gastrointestinal perforation rarely occurs in neonates, with most SP cases being idiopathic. Although SP usually follows a benign clinical course with favorable prognosis, it can become lifethreatening in certain situations. In these cases, urgent surgical intervention may be required. Therefore, it may be difficult to decide when or how to perform prompt *** To demonstrate the distinct clinical features of SP to guide appropriate management by comparing characteristics between SP and typical pneumoperitoneum secondary to gastrointestinal *** We retrospectively reviewed electronic medical records and identified 37 neonates with radiological evidence of pneumoperitoneum who were treated at our institution. Clinical variables were compared between neonates with SP without gastrointestinal perforation(Group A) and those with pneumoperitoneum secondary to gastrointestinal perforation(Group B). Clinical variables between groups were compared using Student’s t-test and the chi-square test. The risk factors related to mortality were examined using multi-logistic regression *** Group A comprised 35.1%(13/37) of the patients. The frequency of persistent pulmonary hypertension(53.8%) and pneumothorax(46.2%) before the development of pneumoperitoneum was significantly higher in group A than in group B(P =0.004). Platelet count and partial pressure of arterial oxygen(PaO) were significantly lower in group A(P = 0.015 and 0.025, respectively). Overall mortality was significantly higher in group A than in group B(76.9% vs 16.7%, P = 0.001). Only preterm infants were significantly associated with high mortality(P = 0.041;odds ratio = 18.0). Recently,to build a smart factory,research has been conducted to perform fault diagnosis and defect detection based on vibration and noise signals generated when a mechanical system is driven using deep-learning technology,a field of artificial *** of the related studies apply various audio-feature extraction techniques to one-dimensional raw data to extract sound-specific features and then classify the sound by using the derived spectral image as a training ***,compared to numerical raw data,learning based on image data has the disadvantage that creating a training dataset is very ***,we devised a two-step data preprocessing method that efficiently detects machine anomalies in numerical raw *** the first preprocessing process,sound signal information is analyzed to extract features,and in the second preprocessing process,data filtering is performed by applying the proposed *** efficient dataset was built formodel learning through a total of two steps of data *** addition,both showed excellent performance in the training accuracy of the model that entered each dataset,but it can be seen that the time required to build the dataset was 203 s compared to 39 s,which is about 5.2 times than when building the image dataset.

Digital signature schemes are often built based on the difficulty of the discrete logarithm problems,of the problem of factor analysis,of the problem of finding the roots modulo of large primes or a combination of the difficult problems mentioned *** this paper,we use the new difficult problem,which is to find the wth root in the finite ground field GF(p)to build representative collective signature schemes,but the chosen modulo p has a special structure distinct p=Nt_(0)t_(1)t_(2)+1,where N is an even number and t_(0),t_(1),t_(2) are prime numbers of equal magnitude,about 80 *** characteristics of the proposed scheme are:i)The private key of each signer consists of 2 components(K_(1),K_(2)),randomly selected,but the public key has only one component(Y)calculated by the formula Y=K_(w)^(1)_(1) K^(w)_(2)^(2);w_(1)=t_(0)t_(1) and w_(2)=t_(0)t_(2);and ii)The generated signature consists of a set of 3 components(e,S_(1),S_(2)).We use the technique of hiding the signer’s public key Y,which is the coefficientλgenerated by the group nanager,in the process of forming the group signature and representative collective signature to enhance the privacy of all members of the signing collective.
