1 Introduction Completely decomposed granite(CDG)is widely distributed in South China(Xu et al.,2022;Wang et al.,2023).The parent granite rock mass gradually loses features during the weathering process,and thus needs to be reinforced when used(Lan et al.,2003;Dassekpo et al.,2017;Alamanis et al.,2021).On the other hand,considering the huge demand for construction materials and limited natural resources,it is increasingly important to fully utilize solid waste(Gruhler et al.,2019;Anagnostopoulos et al.,2020;Jiang et al.,2022,2023a,2023b).With high strength and environment-friendly characteristics,incineration bottom ash(IBA)seems to be a suitable reinforcement material for CDG(Ahmed and Khalid,2011;Alhassan and Tankó,2012;Toraldo et al.,2013;Lynn et al.,2017;Xuan et al.,2018;tang et al.,2020).

Recently,the application of Bayesian updating to predict excavation-induced deformation has proven successful and improved prediction accuracy ***,updating the ground settlement profile,which is crucial for determining potential damage to nearby infrastructures,has received limited *** address this,this paper proposes a physics-guided simplified model combined with a Bayesian updating framework to accurately predict the ground settlement *** advantage of this model is that it eliminates the need for complex finite element modeling and makes the updating framework ***,the model is physically interpretable,which can provide valuable references for construction *** effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through two field case studies,showing that it can yield satisfactory predictions for the settlement profile.

Glutamatergic projection neurons generate sophisticated excitatory circuits to integrate and transmit information among different cortical areas,and between the neocortex and other regions of the brain and spinal *** development of cortical projection neurons is regulated by certain essential events such as neural fate determination,proliferation,specification,differentiation,migration,survival,axonogenesis,and *** processes are precisely regulated in a tempo-spatial manner by intrinsic factors,extrinsic signals,and neural *** generation of correct subtypes and precise connections of projection neurons is imperative not only to support the basic cortical functions(such as sensory information integration,motor coordination,and cognition)but also to prevent the onset and progression of neurodevelopmental disorders(such as intellectual disability,autism spectrum disorders,anxiety,and depression).This review mainly focuses on the recent progress of transcriptional regulations on the development and diversity of neocortical projection neurons and the clinical relevance of the failure of transcriptional modulations.

Haemaphysalis longicornis ticks,commonly found in East Asia,can transmit various pathogenic viruses,includingthe severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus(SFTSV)that has caused febrile diseases among humansin Hubei ***,understanding of the viromes of *** was limited,and the prevalence ofviruses among *** ticks in Hubei was not well *** study investigates the viromes of bothengorged(fed)and free(unfed)*** ticks across three mountainous regions in Hubei Province from 2019to ***-sequencing analysis identified viral sequences that were related to 39 reference viruses belonging tounclassified viruses and seven RNA viral families,namely Chuviridae,Nairoviridae,Orthomyxoviridae,Parvoviridae,Phenuiviridae,Rhabdoviridae,and *** abundance and diversity in these ticks were analysed,andphylogenetic characteristics of the Henan tick virus(HNTV),Dabieshan tick virus(DBSTV),Okutama tick virus(OKTV),and Jingmen tick virus(JMTV)were elucidated based on their full genomic *** demonstrated that DBSTV was the most common virus found in individual *** ticks(12.59%),followed by HNTV(0.35%),whereas JMTV and OKTV were not *** results improve our understanding of *** tick viromes in central China and highlight the role of tick feeding status and geographyin shaping the viral *** findings of new viral strains and their potential impact on public health raisethe need to strengthen surveillance efforts for comprehensively assessing their spillover potentials.

The SSRF phase-Ⅱ beamline project was launched in 2016. Its major goal was to establish a systematic state-of-the-art experimental facility for third-generation synchrotron radiation to solve problems in cutting-edge science and ***, the construction is fully completed. All 16 newly built beamlines with nearly 60 experimental methods passed acceptance testing by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and are in operation.

The rapid development of emerging technologies,such as edge intelligence and digital twins,have added momentum towards the development of the Industrial Internet of Things(IIo T).However,the massive amount of data generated by the IIo T,coupled with heterogeneous computation capacity across IIo T devices,and users’data privacy concerns,have posed challenges towards achieving industrial edge intelligence(IEI).To achieve IEI,in this paper,we propose a semi-federated learning framework where a portion of the data with higher privacy is kept locally and a portion of the less private data can be potentially uploaded to the edge *** addition,we leverage digital twins to overcome the problem of computation capacity heterogeneity of IIo T devices through the mapping of physical *** formulate a synchronization latency minimization problem which jointly optimizes edge association and the proportion of uploaded nonprivate *** the joint problem is NP-hard and combinatorial and taking into account the reality of largescale device training,we develop a multi-agent hybrid action deep reinforcement learning(DRL)algorithm to find the optimal *** results show that our proposed DRL algorithm can reduce latency and have a better convergence performance for semi-federated learning compared to benchmark algorithms.

Experimental study on reactions between alkaline basaltic melt and orthopyroxenes: constraints on the evolution of lithospheric mantle in the North China Craton

The experimental results of the reactions between an alkaline basaltic melt and mantle orthopyroxenes under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions of 1300–1400℃ and 2.0–3.0 GPa using a six-anvil apparatus are reported in this *** reactions are proposed to simulate the interactions between melts from the asthenospheric mantle and the lithospheric *** starting melt in the experiments was made from the alkaline basalt occurring in Fuxin,Liaoning Province,and the orthopyroxenes were separated from the mantle xenoliths in Damaping,Hebei *** results show that clinopyroxenes were formed in all the reactions between the alkaline basaltic melt and orthopyroxenes under the studied P–T *** formation of clinopyroxene in the reaction zone is mainly controlled by dissolution–crystallization,and the chemical compositions of the reacted melt are primarily infl uenced by the diff usion eff *** is the most important parameter controlling the reactions between the melt and orthopyroxenes,which has a direct impact on the melting of orthopyroxenes and the diff usion of chemical components in the *** also directly controls the chemical compositions of the newly formed clinopyroxenes in the reaction zone and the reacted *** formation of clinopyroxenes from the reactions between the alkaline basaltic melt and orthopyroxenes can result in an increase of CaO and Al_(2)O_(3) contents in the rocks containing this ***,the reactions between the alkaline basaltic melt from the asthenospheric mantle and orthopyroxenes from the lithospheric mantle can lead to the evolution of lithospheric mantle in the North China Craton from refractory to fertile with relatively high CaO and Al 2 O 3 *** addition,the reacted melts in some runs were transformed from the starting alkaline basaltic into tholeiitic after reactions,indicating that tholeiitic magma could be generated from alkaline basaltic one via reactions betwe

Described here is a divergent,biosynthetically inspired synthesis of cochlearol B and ganocin *** steps of the synthesis include the chromene unit construction through a biomimetic acid-catalyzed[4+2]ring cyclization.A photochemical[2+2]cycloaddition was featured to construct the cyclobutane core of cochlearol *** skeletal rearrangements of cochlearol B afforded ganocin A,that one of them was Lewis acid mediated epoxide rearrangement and another was DDQ induced cyclobutane formed tetrahydrofuran *** described syntheses not only achieved these natural products in an efficient manner,but also provided insight into the biosynthetic relationship between the two different skeletons.

Based on the Crank-Nicolson and the weighted and shifted Grunwald operators,we present an implicit difference scheme for the Riesz space fractional reaction-dispersion equations and also analyze the stability and the convergence of this implicit difference ***,after estimating the condition number of the coefficient matrix of the discretized scheme,we find that this coefficient matrix is ill-conditioned when the spatial mesh-size is sufficiently *** overcome this deficiency,we further develop an effective banded M-matrix splitting preconditioner for the coefficient *** properties of this preconditioner together with its preconditioning effect are ***,Numerical examples are employed to test the robustness and the effectiveness of the proposed preconditioner.

We theoretically studied the exciton geometric structure in layered semiconducting transition metal *** on a three-orbital tight-binding model for Bloch electrons which incorporates their geometric structures,an effective exciton Hamiltonian is constructed and solved perturbatively to reveal the relation between the exciton and its electron/hole *** show that the electron−hole Coulomb interaction gives rise to a non-trivial inheritance of the exciton geometric structure from Bloch electrons,which manifests as a valley-dependent center-of-mass anomalous Hall velocity of the exciton when two external fields are applied on the electron and hole constituents,*** obtained center-of-mass anomalous velocity is found to exhibit a non-trivial dependence on the fields,as well as the wave function and valley index of the *** findings can serve as a general guide for the field-control of the valley-dependent exciton transport,enabling the design of novel quantum optoelectronic and valleytronic devices.
