Therapeutic effect and apoptosis mechanism of lung-tonifying and expectorant decoction on lung cancer rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis

Objective:To explore the effect and specific mechanism of lung-tonifying and expectorant decoction on lung cancer rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis,and aim to provide a new idea on treating the disease with traditional Chinese medicine based on syndrome ***:A total of 60 C57BL/6J male rats were included in the *** model of Qi deficiency and blood stasis was established in 60 rats by using multiple-factor *** 10 rats were randomly taken to verify whether the model establishment was successful and the rest of 50 rats were divided into 5 groups with 10 rats each:blank control group,cisplatin group,low dose group,medium dose group and high dose *** blank control group was treated with normal saline,and cisplatin group was treated with cisplatin while the other three groups were treated with lung-tonifying and expectorant decoction at different *** volume change in transplanted tumor,tumor inhibition rate,apoptosis rate,and expression of Bc1-2,*** caspase-3 and cleaved caspase-9 in 5 groups were ***:The rapidest growth rate of transplanted tumor volume was observed in blank control group and the slowest in cisplatin *** growth rate was gradually decreased with the increasing dose of lung-tonifying and expectorant decoction,and the difference in growth of tumor volume among groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The cisplatin group showed the highest tumor inhibition rate,with dose-dependent increase(P<0.05).The apoptosis rate in low dose group was higher than blank control group but lower than high dose group(P<0.05).The apoptosis rate in medium dose group was significantly higher man blank control group(P).05).The apoptosis rate in high dose group was significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).The positive expression rates of Bel-2 and Bax in all groups showed statistically significant difference(P<0.05),while expression of cleaved caspase-3 and cleaved caspase-9 in 5 groups

This paper is concerned with the stability analysis of discrete time-delay system. Firstly, an improved augmented functional form is proposed and the positive definite condition of functional is derived. Then, the forward difference of functional is estimated by applying summation inequalities and a state-connecting-based zero-value equation. As a result, an improved stability criterion is established. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the efficiency and merit of the proposed method.

Actively tunable electromagnetically induced transparency in hybrid Dirac-VO2 metamaterials

This paper mainly focuses on designing and implementing master-slave synchronization control of chaotic Lur'e systems using hardware. Firstly, a synchronization criterion for master-slave Lur'e systems is proposed based on LyapunovKrasovskii functional, which fully utilizes the system's information. Then, two inductorless Chua's circuits with state extraction circuits are chosen to construct a novel test-bed platform. Finally, the effectiveness of the synchronization criterion is demonstrated using this test-bed platform.

In this paper, we present a metamaterial structure of Dirac and vanadium dioxide（VO2） and investigate its optical properties using the finite-difference time-domain（FDTD） technique. Using the phase transition feature of VO2, the design can realize active tuning of the plasmon induced transparency（PIT） effect at terahertz frequency, thereby converting from a single PIT to a double-PIT. When VO2is in the insulating state, the structure is symmetric to obtain a single-band PIT effect. When VO2is in the metallic state, the structure turns asymmetric to realize a dual-band PIT effect. This design provides a reference direction for the design of actively tunable metamaterials. Additionally, it is discovered that the transparent window's resonant frequency and the Fermi level in this structure have a somewhat linear relationship. In addition, the structure achieves superior refractive index sensitivity in the terahertz band, surpassing 1 THz/RIU. Consequently, the design exhibits encouraging potential for application in refractive index sensors and optical switches.

In the context of peaking carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality,development of feasible methods for converting CO_(2)into high value-added chemicals stands out as a hot *** this study,P[D+COO^(−)][Br^(−)][DBUH^(+)],a series of novel heterogeneous dual-ionic poly(ionic liquid)s(PILs)were synthesized readily from 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate(DMAEMA),bromo-substituted aliphatic acids,organic bases and divinylbenzene(DVB).The structures,compositions and morphologies were characterized or determined by nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA),infrared spectroscopy(IR),scanning electron microscopes(SEM),and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller analysis(BET),*** of the P[D+COO^(−)][Br^(−)][DBUH^(+)]series as catalysts in converting CO_(2)into cyclic carbonates showed that P[D+COO^(−)][Br^(−)][DBUH^(+)]-2/1/0.6was able to catalyze epiclorohydrin-CO_(2)cycloaddition the most *** afforded chloropropylene carbonate(CPC)in 98.4%yield with≥99%selectivity in 24 hr under solvent-and additive-free conditions at atmospheric *** experiments showed that recycling of the catalyst 6 times only resulted in a slight decline in the catalytic *** addition,it could be used for the synthesis of a variety of differently substituted cyclic carbonates in good to excellent ***,key catalytic active sites were probed,and a reasonable mechanism was proposed *** summary,this work poses an efficient strategy for heterogenization of dual-ionic PILs and provides amild and environmentally benign approach to the fixation and utilization of carbon dioxide.

The interplay between novel topological states and superconductivity has garnered substantial interest due to its potential for topological quantum computing. The Josephson effect serves as a useful probe for edge superconductivity in these hybrid topological materials. In Josephson junctions based on topological materials, supercurrents exhibit unique quantum interference patterns,including the conventional Fraunhofer oscillations, the Φ0-periodic oscillation, and the 2Φ0-periodic oscillation in response to the external magnetic field（Φ0=h/2e is the flux quantum, h the Planck constant, and e the electron charge）. These interference patterns stem from varied Andreev reflection mechanisms and the associated current density profiles. This review seeks to comprehensively examine the theoretical and experimental advancements in understanding the quantum interference patterns of edge supercurrents in Josephson junctions based on quantum spin Hall, quantum Hall, and quantum anomalous Hall systems.

为揭示风机叶片12.9级高强度叶根螺栓极限及疲劳承载特性，建立了叶根螺栓预埋螺栓套连接完整有限元模型，分析螺栓自身设计参数缩颈、不同屈服比例的预紧力对叶根极限承载的影响规律，进而研究不同设计参数下螺栓应力范围．搭建12.9级叶根螺栓疲劳试验平台，测试螺栓疲劳等级，突破现有规范对疲劳等级的取值，以及不同参数取值下螺栓的S/N曲线．基于马尔科夫载荷矩阵研究不同S/N曲线、不同设计参数下叶根螺栓疲劳承载的关联关系．结果表明：螺栓施加同一屈服比例的预紧力时，缩颈越大，极限承载能力越高；疲劳载荷过大时，接触面螺栓附近开口出现，弯矩非线性增加，此时缩颈将不能降低螺栓应力范围；螺栓S/N曲线指数取值越大，疲劳损伤越小；若能突破疲劳等级的取值，螺栓设计参数对疲劳损伤的制约将大幅降低．

Hydrogel scaffolds have numerous potential applications in the tissue engineering ***,tough hydrogel scaffolds implanted in vivo are seldom reported because it is difficult to balance biocompatibility and high mechanical *** by Chinese ramen,we propose a universal fabricating method(printing-P,training-T,cross-linking-C,PTC&PCT)for tough hydrogel scaffolds to fill this ***,3D printing fabricates a hydrogel scaffold with desired structures(P).Then,the scaffold could have extraordinarily high mechanical properties and functional surface structure by cycle mechanical training with salting-out assistance(T).Finally,the training results are fixed by photo-cross-linking processing(C).The tough gelatin hydrogel scaffolds exhibit excellent tensile strength of 6.66 MPa(622-fold untreated)and have excellent ***,this scaffold possesses functional surface structures from nanometer to micron to millimeter,which can efficiently induce directional cell ***,this strategy can produce bionic human tissue with mechanical properties of 10 kPa-10 MPa by changing the type of salt,and many hydrogels,such as gelatin and silk,could be improved with PTC or PCT *** experiments show that this scaffold can effectively promote the new generation of muscle fibers,blood vessels,and nerves within 4 weeks,prompting the rapid regeneration of large-volume muscle loss injuries.

Hearing loss prevalence and burden of disease in China: Findings from provincial-level analysis

Background: Without timely and effective rehabilitation, hearing loss may profoundly affect human life quality. China has a large population of hearing-impaired individuals, which imposes a heavy health burden on society. Moreover, this population is projected to increase rapidly owing to China’s aging ***: We used data from a population-representative epidemiological investigation of hearing loss and ear diseases in four Chinese provinces. We estimated the national prevalence using multiple linear regression of the age-group proportions and prevalence in 31 provinces with clustering analysis. We used years lived with disability (YLDs) to analyze the disease burden and forecasted the prevalence of hearing loss by 2060 in ***: An estimated 115 million people had moderate-to-complete hearing loss in 2015 across the 31 provinces of China (8.4% of 1.37 billion people). Of these, 85.7% were older than age 50 years (99 million people) and 2.4% were younger than 20 years old (2.8 million people). Of all YLDs attributable to hearing loss, 68.9% were attributable to moderate-to-complete cases. By 2060, a projected 242 million people in China will have moderate-to-complete hearing loss, a 110.0% increase from ***: The hearing loss prevalence in China is high. Population aging and socioeconomic factors substantially affect the prevalence and severity of hearing loss and the disease burden. The prevalence and severity of hearing loss are unevenly distributed across different provinces. Future public health policies should take these trends and regional variations into account.
