Background MMPs and TIMPs play important roles in tumor angiogenesis and invasion. Studies have shown that TIMP- 2 has two roles in tumor invasion. However, its role in leukemic infiltration has not been well investigated. This study explored the roles of TIMP-2 in extramedullary infiltration of acute monocytic leukemic SHI-1 cells both in vitro and in vitro. Methods A retroviral vector carrying the human TIMP-2 cDNA was constructed and transfected into the monocytic leukemic cell line SHI-I. The expression of TIMP-2 in the positive clones was determined. The proliferation of SHI-1 cells was examined by MTT assay. Trans-Matrigel invasion assays were used to investigate the infiltration ability in vitro. SHI-1 cells were intravenously injected into pre-traated nu/nu mice to investigate the infiltration ability feature in vitro. Results The expression of TIMP-2 on the cell membrane was significantly elevated in SHI-1/TIMP-2 cells. Over- expression of TIMP-2 promoted the cells proliferation and the invasions in vitro. The SHI-1/TIMP-2 cells demonstrated higher infiltration ability when intravenously injected into nu/nu mice. Conclusion Over-expression of TIMP-2, especially on the cell membrane, may play important roles in promoting the proliferation and infiltration of SHI-1 leukemic cells.

The coevolution between supermassive black holes(SMBHs) and their host galaxies has been proposed for more than a decade,albeit with little direct evidence about black hole accretion activities regulating galaxy star formation at z> *** this paper,we study the lifetimes of X-ray active galactic nuclei(AGNs) in UV-selected red sequence(RS),blue cloud(BC) and green valley(GV) galaxies,finding that AGN accretion activities are most prominent in GV galaxies at z ~1.5-2,compared with RS and BC *** also compare AGN accretion timescales with typical color transition timescales of UV-selected *** find that the lifetime of GV galaxies at z~1.5-2 is very close to the typical timescale when the AGNs residing in them stay in the high-accretion-rate mode at these redshifts;for BC galaxies,the consistency between the color transition timescale and the black hole strong accretion lifetime is more likely to happen at lower redshifts(z <1).Our results support the scenario where AGN accretion activities govern UV color transitions of host galaxies,making galaxies and their central SMBHs coevolve with each other.

Improving the catalytic activity of non-noble metal single atom catalysts(SACs)has attracted considerable attention in materials *** optimizing the local electronic structure of single atom can greatly improve their catalytic activity,it often involves in-plane modulation and requires high ***,we report a novel strategy to manipulate the local electronic structure of SACs via the modulation of axial Co-S bond anchored onto graphitic carbon nitride(C_(3)N_(4))at room temperature(RT).Each Co atom is bonded to four N atoms and one S atom(Co-(N,S)/C_(3)N_(4)).Owing to the greater electronegativity of S in the Co-S bond,the local electronic structure of the Co atoms is available to be controlled at a relatively moderate ***,when employed for the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction,the adsorption energy of intermediate hydrogen(H*)on the Co atoms is remarkably *** the presence of the Co-(N,S)/C_(3)N_(4)SACs,the hydrogen evolution rates reach up to 10 mmol/(g·h),which is nearly 10 and 2.5 times greater than the rates in the presence of previously reported transition metal/C_(3)N_(4)and noble platinum nanoparticles(PtNPs)/C_(3)N_(4)catalysts,*** to the tailorable axial Co-S bond in the SAC,the local electronic structure of the Co atoms can be further optimized for other photocatalytic *** axial coordination engineering strategy is universal in catalyst designing and can be used for a variety of photocatalytic applications.

钱德拉深场是河外X射线巡天中的佼佼者,在多波段观测的有效补充下,对于我们深刻认识0.5～8keV宇宙X射线背景辐射源做出了至关重要的贡献——这些源主要是遥远的活动星系核、星暴和正常星系。本综述(1)提供了钱德拉深场的背景信息;(2)概括了X射线巡天观测近20年来的一些重大研究进展;(3)重点介绍了来自钱德拉深场的一系列令人兴奋的最新科学成果,包括发现首例双中子星并合形成的磁星所驱动的X射线暂现源、活动星系核光变、物理和统计、星系和超大质量黑洞协同演化、星系X射线双星辐射演化以及星系群普查等;(4)总结了一些重要的开放性问题与未来研究前景。

8号染色体三体与血液病

从501例各类血液病中检出的38例伴有获得性8号染色体三体（Trisomy 8，8三体）异常的恶性血液病患者的临床和细胞遗传学特点。显带核型分析揭示：2例只有8三体克隆；20例除8三体克隆外还有正常核型的细胞；20例的恶性克隆除8三体还合并其它染色体异常；13例除8三体克隆外还有其它异常克隆。观察到5例有核型演化，且均伴有疾病的加重或演变。作者还就8三体的临床和生物学意义作了讨论，指出8三体是恶性克隆的标志，它和恶性血液病之间有明确的，但非特异性的联系；它的检出有助于恶性血液病的诊断、鉴别诊断和预后估计。

我们提出一种常规且可靠的方法以获得核光谱望远镜阵列在扩展钱德拉南天深场与钱德拉北天深场的星表。核光谱望远镜阵列在扩展钱德拉南天深场的观测天区覆盖了30'×30'大小的面积,其最深曝光时长在3-24 keV波段作晕影修正后可达230 ks,共有58个源被探测到并收录在本工作的星表中;核光谱望远镜阵列在钱德拉北天深场的观测天区覆盖了7'×10'大小的面积,其最深曝光时长在3-24 keV波段作晕影修正后可达440 ks,共有42个源被首次探测到并收录在本工作的星表中。通过与钱德拉X射线天文台在对应天区的星表结果进行交叉匹配后,我们发现核光谱望远镜阵列星表中的源与它们在钱德拉X射线望远镜星表中的对应体有着大致相当的流量,由此验证了本工作两个星表的可靠性。我们的两个星表通过完全一致的方法制作而成且公开释放,这为后续涉及这两个天区的研究提供了一个统一的平台。我们的源探测方法为核光谱望远镜阵列其他河外巡天的星表制作提供了一种系统的方法。

Objective:To report 4 cases of biphenotypic acute leukemia(BAL)with t(8;21)(q22;q22),and analyze the characteristics of morphology,immune phenotype,chromosome karyotype(MIC)and clinical ***:The BAL patients with t(8;21)(q22;q22)(group A)were compared with the randomly selected BAL patients with other clonical chromo- somal changes(group B)and acute myeloid leukemia M2 cases with t(8;21)(q22;q22)(group C)in MIC and clinical features. Results:BAL with t(8;21)(q22;q22)showed acute myeloid leukemia with high percentages of blast cells morphologically; revealed co-positive to B-lymphoid and myeloid lineages,frequent and high expressions of CD34 and CD33;were responsive to chemotherapy for myeloid and lymphocytic leukemia simultaneously ***:A new subset of BAL with t(8;21)(q22;q22)was reported,and this suggests that the leukemia colony with t(8;21)(q22;q22)might originate from early phase of hematopoiesis.

中国科学技术大学-中国科学院紫金山天文台2.5米大视场巡天望远镜(即墨子巡天望远镜,WFST)是中国科学技术大学“双一流”学科平台建设项目,双方于2018年3月1日召开望远镜项目预研启动会,2019年7月正式开展望远镜建设,2023年8月望远镜建成并开展调试观测,2023年9月17日望远镜首光仪式暨科学战略研讨会召开,并成功发布仙女座星系图片,标志着望远镜设备基本达到设计标准,已经可以开展天文观测研究。墨子巡天望远镜口径2.5米,采用国际先进的主焦光学系统设计和主镜主动光学矫正技术,可实现3度视场范围内均匀高像质和极低像场畸变成像,配备7.65亿像素大靶面主焦相机,具备大视场、高像质、宽波段的特点。墨子巡天望远镜安置于青海省海西州茫崖市冷湖镇赛什腾山海拔4200米的天文台址,是冷湖天文观测基地首个投入运行并开展天文观测研究的大型设备。墨子巡天望远镜通过获取天体高精度位置和多波段亮度观测数据,监测移动天体和光变天体,高效搜寻和监测天文动态事件,可以在高能时域天文、太阳系天体普查、银河系结构和近场宇宙学等研究领域取得突破性原始创新成果。同时,墨子巡天望远镜将面向国家航天强国战略,开展太阳系近地天体等搜寻与监测研究,服务航天安全和深空探测战略需求。
