Early insulin therapy is capable to achieve glycemic control and restoreβ-cell function in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes(T2D),but its effect on cardiovascular outcomes in these patients remains *** this nationwide real-world study,we analyzed electronic health record data from 19 medical centers across China between 1 January 2000,and 26 May *** included 5424 eligible patients(mean age 56 years,2176 women/3248 men)who were diagnosed T2D within six months and did not have prior cardiovascular *** Cox regression models were used to estimate the associations of early insulin therapy(defined as the first-line therapy for at least two weeks in newly diagnosed T2D patients)with the incidence of major cardiovascular events including coronary heart disease(CHD),stroke,and hospitalization for heart failure(HF).During 17,158 persons years of observation,we documented 834 incident CHD cases,719 stroke cases,and 230 hospitalized cases for *** diagnosed T2D patients who received early insulin therapy,compared with those who did not receive such treatment,had 31%lower risk of incident stroke,and 28%lower risk of hospitalization for *** significant difference in the risk of CHD was *** found similar results when repeating the aforesaid analysis in a propensity-score matched population of 4578 patients and with inverse probability of treatment weighting *** findings suggest that early insulin therapy in newly diagnosed T2D may have cardiovascular benefits by reducing the risk of incident stroke and hospitalization for HF.

门静脉血栓形成(portal vein thrombosis,PVT)是指门静脉主干和肝内门静脉分支内形成的血栓,伴或不伴有肠系膜和脾静脉受累,其特征是门静脉部分或完全闭塞。PVT是肝硬化患者常见而严重的并发症,且发生率与肝硬化和门静脉高压严重程度呈正相关。门静脉血栓形成不仅可以使肝硬化患者肝功能恶化,加重门静脉高压并导致门静脉高压相关的静脉曲张出血,从而增加肝硬化急性失代偿的发生风险,还会增加肝移植手术难度,降低受者生存率。因此,对于PVT的早期预防尤为重要。由于PVT常起病隐匿,早期一般无明显临床症状,根据临床表现很难诊断PVT,因此研究反映潜在血栓形成的血清学指标至关重要。由于Virchow三联征的组成部分,所有静脉血栓形成都是多因素的:高凝状态、内皮损伤和血流量减少。本文就PVT形成的危险因素及早期预测血清学指标的最新研究进行综述。

The phytolith carbon sequestration in terrestrial ecosystems: the underestimated potential of bamboo forest

Background Terrestrial ecosystems contain significant carbon storage, vital to the global carbon cycle and climate change. Carbon sequestration in plant phytoliths offers a sustainable method for long-term carbon stabilization. Carbon occluded in phytoliths(Phyt OC) is a kind of carbon that can be stable and not decomposed for a long time, so it is crucial to conduct more in-depth research on *** We undertook a meta-analysis on Phyt OC across global terrestrial ecosystems, analyzing 60 articles, encapsulating 534 observations. We observed notable differences in phytolith and Phyt OC contents across various ecosystems. Bamboo forest ecosystems exhibited the highest vegetation phytolith and Phyt OC content, while soil phytolith content was most prominent in bamboo forests and Phyt OC content in croplands. Human activities, such as grassland grazing, had a lesser impact on soil Phyt OC transport than actions like cutting and tillage in croplands and forests. Our study separated bamboo ecosystems, analyzing their Phyt OC content and revealing an underestimation of their carbon sink *** Notwithstanding our findings, phytoliths' intricate environmental interactions warrant further exploration, crucial for refining ecosystem management and accurately estimating Phyt OC stocks. This deepened understanding lays the foundation for studying phytoliths and the carbon sink dynamics.

Polyphyllin Ⅰ enhances tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand-induced inhibition of human osteosarcoma cell growth via downregulating the Wnt/β-catenin pathway

Objective: Rheumatoid arthritis(RA) is a chronic inflammatory and destructive arthritis, characterized by inflammatory infiltration and bone destruction. Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction(HGWD) is traditional Chinese medicine, which has been applied in the treatment of RA in clinical. The aim of this study was to investigate the therapeutic effect of HGWD on collagen-induced arthritis(CIA) mouse ***: DBA/1J female mice were used to establish the collagen-induced arthritis(CIA) model. HGWD was administered intragastrically once a day for four weeks starting on the 22nd day after the first immunization. The body weight, hind paw thickness and clinical score were measured every five days. Gait analysis, histopathological staining, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA), ultrasound imaging and micro-computed tomography imaging were performed to determine the effects of HGWD treatment on inflammation and bone structure in this model. Moreover, Real-time PCR and Western blot analysis were used to detect inflammatory factors m RNA and protein levels after HGWD intervention in RAW264.7 ***: HGWD attenuated symptoms of arthritis, suppressed inflammatory synovium area and the serum levels of inflammatory factors, inhibited joint space enlargement in the knee and ankle joints,reduced numbers of osteoclasts, protected bone destruction, as well as improved motor *** decreased the expression of m RNA for inflammatory factors and the protein expression levels of p-NF-ΚB and ***: These results suggested that HGWD suppresses inflammation, attenuates bone erosion and maintains motor function in collagen-induced arthritis mice.

针对未来深空探测活动中航天员在多种复杂任务环境下的运动助力需求,提出一种面向航天员穿戴式助力系统的运动意图检测算法。以航天员的关节力矩作为运动意图的表征,利用希尔伯特-黄变换对特定肌肉发出的肌声信号进行滤波处理,以消除由肢体运动导致的伪迹噪声和由传感器引入的高频噪声,并参照肌肉的发力原理对滤波后的肌声信号进行特征值提取,通过机器学习的方法建立肌声信号与关节力矩间的映射关系,使助力系统能够及时准确地识别出航天员的运动意图并实施助力。最后募集了3名志愿者进行了150000组样本数据关节力矩辨识实验,实验结果表明:所提出算法的决定系数可达0.9532,能够有效辨识航天员的运动意图。

Research on Large Volume Airgun Source Signal Reception in Hutubi, Xinjiang Using Seismic Network Data

We used data from the Xinjiang Digital Seismic Network and PSD( Power Spectral Density) method to perform noise level assessment for six stations. We calculated the median of the power spectral density to evaluate the noise level of different stations. After the comparison of the power spectral density of different stations and the airgun signal recognition,we found that noise level of stations with recognizable airgun source signals is lower than that of stations without recognizable signals. The largest difference of the power spectral density is 40 d B,and the smallest is 15 d B. Finally,we found that the failure to recognize the signal of airgun sources at some stations is due to the noise level.
