Identifying desirable genotypes with the best performance in diverse environments is a perpetual aim of plant breeding,and the interaction between genotype and environment(G×E)always plays a key *** study was conducted to elucidate the genetic behaviour of different hybrid combinations at various densities in diverse *** to a line×tester design,32 hybrid combinations were obtained from 16 inbred individuals crossed with two testers and planted at three locations at three density levels(45,000,67,500 and 90,000 plants ha-1)during ***(G),environment(E)and the interaction of genotype and environment(G×E)significantly affected grain yield at different *** planting density enhanced grain yield and improved the efficiency of germplasm screening,where the effect of location on grain yield at different densities was larger than that of year and the GCA was larger than the ***,four inbred lines(KB102,KB081,KA105,and KB106)with a high GCA,environmental adaptability,and several combinations using them as parents have been approved in ShannXi Province and National of *** conclusion,the evaluation of combining ability at multiple densities and locations can effectively screen inbred lines and improve breeding efficiency.

叶绿素是植物形成产量的重要因子。为了探究吐丝期叶绿素的遗传机理和代谢机制,本研究以榆林、杨凌两地126份玉米自交系为材料,采用全基因组关联分析的方法将简化基因组测序填充过滤筛选后得到31561个SNP(Single nucleotide polymorphism)标记,结合叶绿素指数SPAD(Soil and plant analyzer develotrnent)值以及BLUP(Best linear unbiased prediction)值进行分析,共检测到37个显著性关联SNP标记;在LD(Linkage disequilibrium)衰退有效距离上下150 kb内检测到201个候选基因,进一步进行GO富集注释和分析,将叶绿素相关候选基因主要锚定在过氧化氢代谢过程、受体活性、活性氧代谢过程和氮化合物代谢过程的负调控等18个代谢途径上。本研究进一步探究了叶绿素相关代谢遗传机理,对高光效育种和提高作物产量有重要意义。

Background:Few studies have been conducted to investigate the impact of extreme cold events on mortality in subtropical regions. Objective:The present study aimed to investigate the effects of the 2008 cold spell on mortality and the possibility of mortality displacement in three subtropical cities in China. Methods:Daily mortality,air pollution,and weather data were collected from 2006 to 2009 in Guangzhou,Nanxiong(no air pollutants) and Taishan.A polynomial distributed lag model (DLM) was used to analyze the relationship between the 2008 cold spell and *** observe the mortality displacement of the cold spell,we estimated the cumulative effects at lag0, lag0-6lag0-13,lag0-20,and lag0-27 separately. Results:During the 2008 cold spell,the cumulative risk of non-accidental mortality increased significantly in Guangzhou(RR=1.60;95%CI:1.19,2.14) and Taishan(RR=1.60;95%CI:1.06, 2.40) when lagged up to 4 weeks after the cold spell *** effects at lag0-27 were more pronounced for males than females,for respiratory mortality than cardiovascular mortality, and for the elderly(>75 years) than for those 0-64 *** of the cumulative RRs increased with longer lag times in Guangzhou and ***,in Nanxiong,the trend with cumulative RRs was less consistent,and no statistically significant associations were observed at lag0-27. Conclusion:The 2008 cold spell was associated with increased mortality in three subtropical cities of *** lag effect structure of the cold spell varied with location and the type of mortality,and evidence of short-term mortality displacement was *** findings suggest that extreme cold is an important public health problem in subtropical regions.

Background:The American Diabetes Association and World Health Organization have recently adopted the HbA1c measurement as one method of diagnostic criteria for *** change in diagnostic criteria has important implications for diabetes treatment and *** therefore investigate diabetes using HbA1c and glucose criteria together,and assess the prevalent trend in a developing southern Chinese population with 85 million residents. Methods:A stratified multistage random sampling method was applied and a representative sample of 3590 residents 18 years of age or above was obtained in *** participant received a full medical check-up,including measurement of fasting plasma glucose,2-how post-load plasma glucose,and HbA1c Information on history of diagnosis and treatment of diabetes was *** prevalence of diabetes obtained from the present survey was compared with the data from the survey in 2002. Results:The prevalence of diabetes based on both glucose and HbA1c measurements was 21.7%(95%CI:17.4%-26.1%) in 2010,which suggests that more than 1 in 5 adult residents were suffering from diabetes in this developing *** 12.9%(95%CI:8.3%-17.6%) of diabetic residents were aware of their *** prevalence of pre-diabetes was 66.3% (95%CI:62,7%-69.8%).The prevalence of diabetes and pre-diabetes which met att the three diagnostic thresholds(fast plasma glucose,1 hour post-load plasma glucose,ami HbA1c) was 3.1%and S.2%,*** and pre-diabetes as determined by HbA1c measurement had higher vascular risk than those determined by glucose *** prevalence of diabetes increased from 2.9%(95%Cl:2.0%-3.7%) in 2002 to 13.8%(95%CI:10.2%-17.3%) in 2010 based on the same glucose criteria. Conclusions:Our results show that the diabetes epidemic is accelerating in *** awareness of diabetes is extremely *** glucose test and HbA1c measurement should be used together to increase detection of diabetes and pre-diabetes.
