In this study, a resorufin derivative RTP-1, which is a novel fluorescent ‘‘turn-on＇＇ probe for sensitive detection of hydrazine within 30 min, is designed and synthesized. The selective deprotection of the ester group of the probe by hydrazine led to a prominent enhancement of fluorescent intensity, as well as a remarkable color change from colorless to pink, which could be distinguished by naked eye. The fluorescence enhancement showed decent linear relationship with hydrazine concentration ranging from 0 to 50 mmol/L, with a detection limit of 0.84 mmol/L. The specificity of RTP-1 for hydrazine to a number of metal ions, anions and amines is satisfactory. The sensing mechanism of RTP-1 and hydrazine was evaluated by HPLC, ESI mass spectrometry and density functional theory（DFT）.Moreover, we have utilized this fluorescent probe for imaging hydrazine in living cells, and the fluorescence was clearly observed when the cells were incubated with hydrazine（100 mmol/L） for 30 min.

This systematic review assessed the safety and efficacy of the disposable circumcision suture device （DCSD） and conventional circumcision （CC） in the treatment of redundant prepuce and phimosis. Two independent reviewers conducted a literature search for randomized controlled trials （RCTs） using the DCSD and CC for the treatment of redundant prepuce or phimosis in China and abroad. Nine RCTs （1898 cases） were included. Compared with the CC group, the DCSD group had a shorter operative time （standardized mean difference [SMD] = -21.44; 95% confidence intervals [95% CIs] [-25.08, -17.79]; P 〈 0.00001）, shorter wound healing time （SMD = -3.66; 95% CI [-5.46, -1.85]; P 〈 0.0001）, less intraoperative blood loss （SMD = -9.64; 95% CI [-11.37, -7.90]; P 〈 0.00001）, better cosmetic penile appearance （odds ratio [OR] =8.77; 95% CI [5.90, 13.02]; P 〈 0.00001）, lower intraoperative pain score, lower 24-h postoperative pain score, lower incidence of infection, less incision edema, and fewer adverse events. There were no differences between the CC and DCSD groups in the incidences of dehiscence, or hematoma. The results of this meta-analysis indicate that the DCSD appears to be safer and more effective than CC. However, additional high-quality RCTs with larger study populations are needed.

The rotary draw bending(RDB) of large diameter thin-walled(LDTW) tube needs the strict cooperation of multiple processing parameters to avoid possible multiple *** to the specific properties,the bending behaviors of LDTW commercial pure titanium(CP-Ti) tube are much more complex to achieve precise *** the CP-Ti tube of 50.8 mm(out diameter, D)×0.508 mm(wall thickness,t)×101.6 mm(bending radius,R) as a representative component,the bending behaviors of LDTW CP-Ti tube under different processing conditions were *** experiments and analytical analysis,the bending characteristics of the CP-Ti tube were ***,based on the orthogonal experimental design,a series of three-dimensional FE models of RDB for LDTW CP-Ti tube were established,and the effects of processing parameters on the bending behaviors were numerically *** results show that:1) Wrinkling is the primary behavior for the LDTW CP-Ti tube in RDB,and the larger the difference between the maximum wall thickening and the maximum wall thinning degrees of the bent tube,the larger the wrinkling tendency;2) The bending behaviors of the LDTW CP-Ti tube are very sensitive to the some processing parameters,and the wrinkling is significantly affected by the mandrel shank diameter,while the wall thinning is remarkably affected by the clearance between wiper die and tube,mandrel shank *** qualified bent tube with the wall thinning of 11.43%,the cross-section distortion of 2.69%and the wrinkling height less than 2%is then obtained.

Surgical techniques of arterialized orthotopic liver transplantation in rats

Background Recently, much attention has been paid to hepatic artery reconstruction in rat liver transplantation, which can prevent bile duct ischemia and preserve better liver structure. In this study, three methods of graft arterialization, including sleeve, cuff, and stent anastomosis, were conducted and the results were compared. Methods Orthotopic liver transplantation （OLT） with rearterialization was conducted in 90 rats, which were divided into sleeve, cuff, and stent groups （n=30 in each）. Ninety-six rats received OLTs with standardized two-cuff technique without rearterialization as a control. The sleeve technique included an end-to-end anastomosis between the donor common hepatic artery and recipient proper hepatic artery, or between the donor celiac artery and recipient common hepatic artery Cuff technique involved an anastomosis between the donor common hepatic artery and recipient common hepatic artery. In the stent technique, the recipient hepatic artery and donor hepatic artery were connected using an intraluminal polyethylene stent. The arterial anastomosis time and arterial patency rate in each group were recorded. The liver graft survival and bile duct complication rates were measured. Results The total surgical time of OLT with rearterialization was （118.3±12.9） minutes in the sleeve group, （106.2±11.6） minutes in the cuff, （93.8±10.2） minutes in the stent, and （88.2±9.6） minutes in the control. The corresponding anhepatic phase was （19.6±2.8）, （19.2±2.2）, （18.6±1.8）, and （20.0±2.5） minutes respectively in the sleeve, cuff, stent, and control groups. One-week survival rate was 86.5% in the control, and 86.7% in the groups with rearterialization. No significant difference was detected in the survival rate between them （P〉0.05）. The incidence of biliary complications in non-rearterialized group （17.7%） was significantly higher than that in the rearterialized group （6.7%, P〈0.05）. The microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of a Fe-0.12C-0.2Si-1.6Mn-0.3Cr-0.0025B(wt.%)steel with different initial microstructures,i.e.,hot rolled(HR)and cold rolled-annealed(CRA),were studied through optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy,electron channeling contrast imaging,microhardness and room temperature uniaxial tensile *** water quenching from 930℃ to room temperature,a fully martensitic microstructure was obtained in both as-quenched HR and CRA specimens,which shows a microhardness of 480±5 HV,and no significant difference in microstructure and microhardness was *** test results show that the product of tensile strength and total elongation(UTS×TE)of the as-quenched HR specimen,i.e.,24.1 GPa%,is higher than that of the as-quenched CRA specimen,i.e.,18.9 GPa%.While,after being tempered at 300℃,the martensitic microstructures and mechanical properties of the two as-quenched specimens change significantly due to the synergy role of the matrix phase softening and the precipitation *** the maximum UTS×TE,it is 18.9 GPa%obtained in the as-quenched CRA one,while that is 24.4 GPa%obtained in the HR specimen after tempered at 300℃ for 5 min.

Liver transplantation is hindered by organ shortage. The potential way to relieve this issue is to expand the donor pool via extending the donor criteria and make full use of all available grafts. The concept of “no-donor” liver transplantation allows grafts to be recovered from other liver recipients. This review summarizes the current clinical practice of “no-donor” liver transplantation, focusing on the experiences of Chinese transplant teams. Domino liver transplantation was introduced by Furtado in 1995 and implemented later in 2013 in China, and novel donor indications including some essential-to-treat inherited metabolic liver-based diseases have emerged. The concept of cross-auxiliary domino liver transplantation brings a further expansion of the domino liver graft pool, and the first pair of liver transplantation performed “rigorously without donation” was accomplished in our center in 2018. Our experience with this original transplantation procedure is hereby reviewed. In order to further promote and make successful “no-donor” liver transplantation, close co-operation between researchers, surgeons, physicians, organ procurement organizations, as well as ethical committees is required.

Chemical Constituents in Extracts from Leaves of Lantana trifolia and Their In Vitro Anti-oxidative Activity

Objective To isolate, purify, and analyze the anti-oxidants trom the leaves of Lantana trifolia. Methods The anti-oxidative activities of the crude extracts from liquid-liquid extraction of L. trifolia leaves were assayed by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl （DPPH） method to assess their radical scavenging and reducing abilities. The total flavonoids and phenol contents in the ethyl acetate fraction were determined by colorimetric and Folin-Ciocalteu methods, respectively. Chemical constituents were isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction and repeatedly purified using silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography, and HPLC, respectively. The chemical structures isolated were identified by spectral analysis and chemical evidence. Results Ethyl acetate partition from liquid-liquid extraction exhibited the highest anti-oxidative activity with an IC50 value of 4.94 μg/mL, close to that of the standard （vitamin C, VC, 4.23 μg/mL）. The extract was proved to contain total flavonoids and phenol contents with values of （39.0±1.6） and （29.27 ± 1.46） mg/g, respectively. Six compounds were isolated and identified as kaempferol-3,7-dimethyl ether （1）, verbascoside （2）, apigenin （3）, umuhengerin （4）, ladanetin （5）, and scutellarein-7-O-β-D-apiofuranoside （6）. Conclusion The ethyl acetate extract from the leaves of L. trifolia possesses the potent anti-oxidative and free radical scavenging activities which are directly proportional to the concentration of phenolic contents. The anti-oxidative activity of the extract from the leaves of L. trifolia is due to its proton donating ability that converts free radicals to more stable products and terminates chain reactions. Compound 1 is isolated from the plants of Lantana Linn. for the first time. The mechanisms may be related to the therapeutic benefits of the certain traditional claims of wild L. trifolia.
