Fluid flow throttl.ng is common in industrial and building services *** tunnel throttl.ng of vehicular flow is caused by the abrupt number reduction of roadway l.ne,as the tunnel has a lower l.ne number than in the roadway normal *** predict the effects of tunnel throttl.ng of annular freeway vehicular flow,a three-l.ne continuum model is ***Ⅲof the tunnel is completely blocked due to the need of tunnel rehabilitation,*** exists mandatory net l.ne-changing rate from l.neⅢto l.neⅡjust upstream of the tunnel entrance,which is described by a model of random number generated through a golden section *** net-changing rate between adjacent l.nes is modeled using a l.ne-changing time expressed explicitly in algebraic *** paper assumes that the annular freeway has a total l.ngth of 100 km,a two-l.ne tunnel of l.ngth 2 km with a speed limit of 80 km/*** free flow speeds on l.nesⅠ,ⅡandⅢare assumed to be 110,100 and 90 km/h *** on the three-l.ne continuum model.numerical simulations of vehicular flows on the annular freeway with such a tunnel are conducted with a reliable numerical method of 3rd-order *** results reveal that the vehicular flow has a smaller threshold of traffic jam formation in comparison with the case without tunnel *** fuel consumption can be estimated by interpolation with time averaged grid traffic speed and an assumed curve of vehicle *** vehicle fuel consumption is l.ne number dependent,distributes with initial density concavely,ranging from 5.56 to 8.00 *** throttl.ng leads to an earlier traffic jam formation in comparison with the case without tunnel throttl.ng.

Fish in nature exhibit a variety of swimming modes such as forward swimming,backward swimming,turning,pitching,etc.,enabl.ng them to swim in complex scenes such as coral *** is still difficult for a robotic fish to swim autonomously in a confined area as a real ***,we develop an untethered robotic manta as an experimental platform,which consists of two flexible pectoral fins and a tail fin,with three infrared sensors installed on the front,left,and right sides of the head to sense the surrounding *** generate multiple swimming modes of the robotic manta and onl.ne switching of different modes,we design a closed-loop Central Pattern Generator(CPG)controller based on distance information and use a combination of phase difference and amplitude of the CPG model to achieve stable and rapid adjustment of yaw *** verify the autonomous swimming ability of the robotic manta in complex scenes,we design an experimental scenario with a concave *** experimental results show that the robotic manta can achieve forward swimming,backward swimming,in situ turning within the concave obstacle,and finally exit from the area safely while relying on the perception of external obstacles,which can provide insight into the autonomous exploration of complex scenes by the biomimetic robotic ***,the swimming ability of the robotic manta is verified by field tests.

Recently,observational hints for supermassive black holes have been accumulating,prompting the question:Can primordial black holes(PBHs)be supermassive,particularly with masses M■10^(9)M_(⊙)?A supercritical bubble,containing an inflating baby universe,that nucleated during inflation can evolve into a PBH in our observable *** find that when the inflaton slowly transitions past a neighboring vacuum,the nucleation rate of supercritical bubbles inevitably peaks,leading to a mass distribution of multiverse PBHs with a peak mass up to M■10^(11)M_(⊙).Thus,our mechanism naturally provides a primordial origin for supermassive black holes.

Due to the important role ofδphase's quantity and morphology in the mechanical and fatigue properties of Inconel 718 alloy and its components,it is necessary to renew insights into the effect of cold deformation on theδphase precipitation,especially on the morphology ***,the nucleation and growth behavior ofδphase in cold-rolled Inconel 718 alloy during aging were *** results show that the precipitation rate and volume fraction ofδphase increase with increasing the cold roll.ng reduction from 10%to 50%.The volume fraction ofδphase reaches equilibrium after 5 h,remaining at 5.98%,6.52%,and 6.79%under different roll.ng reductions(10%,30%,and 50%),*** nucleation ofδphase mainly occurs on different sites(grain boundaries,new twin boundaries and old twin boundaries)under 10%roll.ng reduction,whileδphase mainly nucleates on the new grain boundaries of static recrystallization due to 50%roll.ng *** the growth ofδphase undergoes a process of alternate orientation growth from spherical.nucleation)→short rod(l.ngitudinal orientation growth)→short rod(radial orientation growth)→dynamic *** 10%roll.ng reduction,δphase tends to grow into the matrix,while under 50%roll.ng reduction,the orientation grows faster and is easily affected by the grain boundary curvature.

In recent years,lithium-sulfur batteries(lSBs)are considered as one of the most promising new generation energies with the advantages of high theoretical speeific capacity of sulfur(1675 mAh·g^(-1)),abundant sulfur resources,and environmental friendl.ness storage technologies,and they are receiving wide attention from the ***,the problems of the shuttle effect and lithium dendrite growth in lSBs have limited their practical application,so there is a need to find ways to solve these *** is an excell.nt choice to use novel materials to modify battery *** those novel materials,the metal-organic framework(MOF)has the properties of regular pores and controllable *** applied as a positive electrode and diaphragm,it can restrain the shuttle effect and lithium dendrite growth,especially since it shows excell.nt performance in diaphragm ***,various design strategies and synthesis methods of MOF-modified separators are reviewed in this paper,and the applications of MOF in lSBs separators in different forms are introduced,including the composite of MOF and carbon-based materials,the compounding of MOF and polymer,self-carbonization to form MOF-derived *** the same time,different characterization techniques are systematically reviewed to obtain the physical and chemical properties of MOF particles and the working mechanism of MOF-modified diaphragm,which provides a basis for further research in this ***,some future research trends and directions are put forward to fully tap the future commercial potential of MOF-modified diaphragm in lSBs.
