Enhanced Acceleration for Generalized Nonconvex Low-Rank Matrix Learning

Matrix minimization techniques that employ the nuclear norm have gained recognition for their applicability in tasks like image inpainting, clustering, classification, and reconstruction. However, they come with inherent biases and computational burdens, especially when used to relax the rank function, making them less effective and efficient in real-world scenarios. To address these challenges, our research focuses on generalized nonconvex rank regularization problems in robust matrix completion, low-rank representation, and robust matrix regression. We introduce innovative approaches for effective and efficient low-rank matrix learning, grounded in generalized nonconvex rank relaxations inspired by various substitutes for the ?0-norm relaxed functions. These relaxations allow us to more accurately capture low-rank structures. Our optimization strategy employs a nonconvex and multi-variable alternating direction method of multipliers, backed by rigorous theoretical analysis for complexity and *** algorithm iteratively updates blocks of variables, ensuring efficient convergence. Additionally, we incorporate the randomized singular value decomposition technique and/or other acceleration strategies to enhance the computational efficiency of our approach, particularly for large-scale constrained minimization problems. In conclusion, our experimental results across a variety of image vision-related application tasks unequivocally demonstrate the superiority of our proposed methodologies in terms of both efficacy and efficiency when compared to most other related learning methods.

Cardiac rehabilitation,a comprehensive exercise-based lifestyle and medical management,is effective in decreasing morbidity and improving life quality in patients with coronary heart *** function,an irreplaceable indicator in coronary heart disease progression,is measured by various methods in traditional cardiac rehabilitation pathways,including medicinal treatment,aerobic training,and smoking ***,studies on the effect of some emerging cardiac rehabilitation programs on endothelial function are *** article briefly reviewed the endothelium-beneficial effects of different cardiac rehabilitation pathways,including exercise training,lifestyle modification and psychological intervention in patients with coronary heart disease,and related experimental models,and summarized both uncovered and potential cellular and molecular mechanisms of the beneficial roles of various cardiac rehabilitation pathways on endothelial *** exercise training and some lifestyle interventions,the enhanced bioavailability of nitric oxide,increased circulating endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs),and decreased oxidative stress are major contributors to preventing endothelial dysfunction in coronary heart ***,the preservation of endothelial-dependent hyperpolarizing factors and inflammatory suppression play *** the one hand,to develop more endothelium-protective rehabilitation methods in coronary heart disease,adequately designed and sized randomized multicenter clinical trials should be advanced using standardized cardiac rehabilitation programs and existing assessment *** the other hand,additional studies using suitable experimental models are warranted to elucidate the relationship between some new interventions and endothelial protection in both macro-and microvasculature.

Tuning up of chromism,luminescence in cadmium-viologen complexes through polymorphism strategy:Inkless erasable printing application

In our work,polymorphism strategy has been successfully applied to tune up chromism and luminescence properties of viologen-based *** polymorphs of viologen-based complexes ofα-CdBr_(2)(PHSQ)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(2)(1)andβ-CdBr_(2)(PHSQ)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(2)(2)(PHSQ=N-(4-sulfophenyl)-4,4-bipyridinium)were synthesized by changing the *** can both respond to UV light and electricity in the manner of chromism visible to the naked eye and the coloration states have good reversibility,through which an inkless erasable printing model has been *** the coloration contrast of 1 is higher compared to ***,they both exhibit photoluminescence properties and the intensity of 1 is twice that of 2,which is accompanied by photoquenching upon continuous UV light *** only divergence of disordered/ordered O atoms in the two crystalline compounds leads to significantly different chromic and luminescent *** explorations simultaneously demonstrate that the different chromic performance between 1 and 2 should attribute to the alteration of stimulus-induced(light/electricity)electron transfer channels caused by the ordered/disordered O atoms in the complexes,which is achieved through C-H···O and O-H···O interactions to change crystal arrangement and structural rigidity,thus affect luminescent properties.

Bond length and interface failure mechanism of anchor cable under continuous radial pressure conditions

The anchoring capacity of the anchor cable is closely related to the bonding length and radial pressure *** field pull-out tests,theoretical analysis,numerical simulation,and industrial tests,this study clarifies the relationship between radial pressure and bonding length for the ultimate pullout force and reveals the microscopic failure process of the resin-rock interface in the anchoring *** results show that the ultimate load increases with the increase of bonding length in three different stages:rapid,slow,and uniform *** new mechanical model developed considering radial pressure describes the inverse relationship between radial pressure and the plastic zone on the bonding section,and quantifies the reinforcing effect of confining pressure on the anchoring *** the pull-out process of the anchor cable,the generation of failure cracks is in the order of orifice,bottom,and middle of the *** pressure can effectively enhance the ultimate pull-out force,alleviate the oscillation increase of pull-out force,and inhibit resin cracking,but will produce an external crushing *** also reveals the synergistic effect between bonding length and radial pressure,and successfully carries out industrial tests of anchor cable support,which ensures the stability of the stope roof and provides an important reference for the design of anchor cable support in deep high-stress mines.

Oxygen vacancies-rich molybdenum tungsten oxide nanowires as a highly active nitrogen fixation electrocatalyst

Herein,vacancy engineering is utilized reasonably to explore molybdenum tungsten oxide nanowires(W_(4)MoO_(3)NWs)rich in O-vacancies as an advanced electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction(eNRR)electrocatalyst,realizing further enhancement of NRR *** 0.1 mol/L Na_(2)SO_(4),W_(4)MoO_(3)NWs rich in O vacancies(CTAB-D-W_(4)MoO_(3))achieve a large NH3yield of 60.77μg h^(-1)mg^(-1)***-0.70 V *** and a high faradaic efficiency of 56.42%at-0.60 V,much superior to the W_(4)MoO_(3)NWs deficient in oxygen vacancies(20.26μg h^(-1)mg^(-1)*** 17.1%at-0.70 V ***).Meanwhile,W_(4)MoO_(3)NWs rich in O-vacancies also show high electrochemical *** functional theory(DFT)calculations present that O vacancies in CTAB-D-W_(4)MoO_(3)reduce the energy barrier formed by the intermediate of^(*)N-NH,facilitate the activation and further hydrogenation of^(*)N-N,promote the NRR process,and improve NRR activity.

Deep reinforcement learning based integrated evasion and impact hierarchical intelligent policy of exo-atmospheric vehicles

Exo-atmospheric vehicles are constrained by limited maneuverability,which leads to the contradiction between evasive maneuver and precision *** address the problem of Integrated Evasion and Impact(IEI)decision under multi-constraint conditions,a hierarchical intelligent decision-making method based on Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL)was ***,an intelligent decision-making framework of“DRL evasion decision”+“impact prediction guidance decision”was established:it takes the impact point deviation correction ability as the constraint and the maximum miss distance as the objective,and effectively solves the problem of poor decisionmaking effect caused by the large IEI decision ***,to solve the sparse reward problem faced by evasion decision-making,a hierarchical decision-making method consisting of maneuver timing decision and maneuver duration decision was proposed,and the corresponding Markov Decision Process(MDP)was designed.A detailed simulation experiment was designed to analyze the advantages and computational complexity of the proposed *** results show that the proposed model has good performance and low computational resource *** minimum miss distance is 21.3 m under the condition of guaranteeing the impact point accuracy,and the single decision-making time is 4.086 ms on an STM32F407 single-chip microcomputer,which has engineering application value.

Objective:This study aims to explore the metabolic mechanism of the liver protective effect of an aqueous extract of Gei Herba(AEG)in blood deficiency(BD)***:The BD mouse model was established by acetylphenylhydrazine and cyclophosphamide.A total of forty-eight female Kunming mice(18–22 g)were randomly assigned to six groups:a control group,a BD model group,a positive drug group(Danggui Yixue oral liquid),and three AEG treatment groups receiving a daily AEG dose of 1,2,4 g/kg for nine *** serum levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST),and the protein expression of IL-1,IL-2,IL-3 and TNF-αwere determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS)based metabolomics was used to identify liver metabolites,and the MetaboAnalyst platform was used to analyze the metabolic ***:AEG reduced serum AST,increased IL-1,IL-2,IL-3 and decreased TNF-αto effectively alleviate liver damage in BD ***,metabolomics analysis revealed that the disordered mice liver metabolic profile was corrected after AEG treatment,five differential metabolites were upregulated,and the mechanism was mainly related to increasing the primary bile acid ***:AEG has a regulatory effect on abnormal liver metabolism in BD mice.

Hair coloring has emerged as an integral part of the cosmetic industry,particularly in response to the increasing global aging *** natural melanin analog,polydopamine(PDA),has garnered considerable attention as an eco-friendly hair dye,and several kinds of polymerization ways of dopamine(DA)have been proposed including alkali catalysis,metal ion catalysis,strong oxidants,and enzyme-mediated oxidation reactions and *** the controllability of polymerization and potential toxicity of involved metal ions are still in *** by the photoprotective mechanism in human skin,we have developed the melanin-inspired hair dyeing strategy that allowed for the in situ oxidative polymerization of DA under ultraviolet(UV)*** polymerization was triggered by photobase generators(PBGs),a class of compounds that produced organic bases upon UV and sunlight *** resulting hair showed an adjustable color from light brown to black by tuning the ratio of DA and PBG(DA@PBG),the concentration of DA,and light exposure *** dyed hairs showed excellent washing resistance and superior anti-static ***,Hair Color Spray DA@PBG also demonstrated a desirable hair dyeing effect and excellent biosecurity by simply spraying it on the hair under *** novel sunlight-induced method provided a new direction towards the preparation of natural hair dyes and could promote the development of green and safe hair dyes in colorful and brilliant artistic-grade hair coloring.

High-throughput screening of CO_(2) cycloaddition MOF catalyst with an explainable machine learning model

The high porosity and tunable chemical functionality of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)make it a promising catalyst design ***-throughput screening of catalytic performance is feasible since the large MOF structure database is *** this study,we report a machine learning model for high-throughput screening of MOF catalysts for the CO_(2) cycloaddition *** descriptors for model training were judiciously chosen according to the reaction mechanism,which leads to high accuracy up to 97%for the 75%quantile of the training set as the classification *** feature contribution was further evaluated with SHAP and PDP analysis to provide a certain physical understanding.12,415 hypothetical MOF structures and 100 reported MOFs were evaluated under 100℃ and 1 bar within one day using the model,and 239 potentially efficient catalysts were *** them,MOF-76(Y)achieved the top performance experimentally among reported MOFs,in good agreement with the prediction.
