BACKGROUND Pheochromocytomas are rare endocrine tumors with various clinical manifestations,and few of them might present with profound,life-threatening *** SUMMARY We report the case of a 65-year-old man who complained of sudden dyspnea and hemoptysis for half a *** was no obvious cause for the patient to have dyspnea,coughing,or coughing up to approximately 100 mL of fresh ***,he was diagnosed with pheochromocytoma crisis(PCC),coexisting with an abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA).CONCLUSION We report a case of pheochromocytoma presenting with recurrent hemoptysis,dyspnea and hypotension coexisting with an *** not only proved the uncommon manifestations of pheochromocytoma but also directed clinicians to consider PCC among the possible diagnoses when meeting similar ***,surgical excision is the most beneficial method for the treatment of pheochromocytoma coexisting with AAA when the situation is stable.

Seismic wavefields propagate through three-dimensional(3D) space, and their precise characterization is crucial for understanding subsurface structures. Traditional 2D algorithms, due to their limitations, are insufficient to fully represent three-dimensional wavefields. The classic 3D Radon transform algorithm assumes that the wavefield's propagation characteristics are consistent in all directions, which often does not hold true in complex underground media. To address this issue, we present an improved 3D threeparameter Radon algorithm that considers the wavefield variation with azimuth and provides a more accurate wavefield description. However, introducing new parameters to describe the azimuthal variation also poses computational challenges. The new Radon transform operator involves five variables and cannot be simply decomposed into small matrices for efficient computation; instead, it requires large matrix multiplication and inversion operations, significantly increasing the computational load. To overcome this challenge, we have integrated the curvature and frequency parameters, simplifying all frequency operators to the same, thereby significantly improving computation efficiency. Furthermore,existing transform algorithms neglect the lateral variation of seismic amplitudes, leading to discrepancies between the estimated multiples and those in the data. To enhance the amplitude preservation of the algorithm, we employ orthogonal polynomial fitting to capture the amplitude spatial variation in 3D seismic data. Combining these improvements, we propose a fast, amplitude-preserving, 3D threeparameter Radon transform algorithm. This algorithm not only enhances computational efficiency while maintaining the original wavefield characteristics, but also improves the representation of seismic data by increasing amplitude fidelity. Why do humans punish free riders at their own expense? This behavior represents an evolutionary puzzle in human societies. This study explores the role of exit strategies in fostering altruistic punishment within evolutionary game theory. We extend the traditional prisoner's dilemma model by incorporating exiters, players who opt out for a small payoff while nullifying their opponent's payoff, and altruistic punishers who cooperate and punish non-cooperators. Our findings indicate that in well-mixed populations, exiters destabilize defection but do not promote altruistic punishment. In social networks, however,exiters enable altruistic punishment via cyclic dominance among altruistic punishers, defectors, and exiters. Notably, this cyclic dominance is sensitive to exit payoffs; adjustments can lead to cyclic dominance of non-punishing cooperators, defectors, and exiters, or to a bi-stable state between these two types of cyclic dominance. These results highlight the nuanced impact of exiters on altruistic punishment, emphasizing the need for careful incentivization of exit behavior. While exiters can support altruistic punishment in networked populations, their effectiveness is not a panacea and is highly sensitive to exit payoffs, indicating limits to the voluntary participation mechanism.

Preparing free-base porphyrinoid radicals that can function as coordination ligands is a challenging task. Here we report the synthesis of a stable, free-base benzocorrole(BC) radical containing only two inner NH protons via a retro-Diels-Alder conversion. The radical character of BC was fully supported by crystallographic analysis, spectroscopic evidence, and theoretical calculations. This neutral radical ligand allowed easy insertion of Zn(Ⅱ), Ga(Ⅲ), and Pd(Ⅱ) ions to produce radical complexes. All these radicals exhibited luminescence-on responses under weak reducing atmosphere, corresponding to the conversion to their aromatic anions. The red fluorescence was observed for BC and its Zn(Ⅱ) and Ga(Ⅲ) complexes,and the near-infrared phosphorescence(>900 nm) was detected for Pd(Ⅱ) complex at room ***, Ga(Ⅲ) corrole exhibited a variation in fluorescence in response to axial coordination. Our findings provide a promising radical platform for coordination and developing novel functional materials with switchable spin and emission.

Design and preparation of a sintered Nd-Y-Fe-B magnet with high magnetic properties via multi-main-phase process and subsequent grain boundary diffusion

A sintered Nd-Y-Fe-B magnet was designed and manufactured by the multi-main-phase *** distributed Y in the magnet decreases the adverse magnetic weakening effect of Y on the *** boundary diffusion process（GBDP） was conducted to further enhance the coercivity of the Nd-Y-Fe-B *** coercivity increases significantly from 884 to 1741 kA/m after GBDP with *** mechanism of the coercivity enhancement is discussed based on the microstructure *** simulation reveals that when the diffused Tb-rich shell thickness is lower than 12 nm the c-plane shell（perpendicular to the c-axis） is much more effective in enhancing the coercivity than the side plane shell（parallel to the c-axis）.But when the Tb-rich shell thickness is above12 nm the side plane shell contributes more to the coercivity *** results in this work can help to design and manufacture Nd-Fe-B magnets with low cost and high magnetic properties.

Traffic engineering such as tunnels in various altitudinal gradient zone are at risk of accidental explosion,which can damage personnel and *** prediction of the distribution pattern of explosive loads and shock wave propagation process in semi-enclosed structures at various altitude environment is key research focus in the fields of explosion shock and fluid *** effect of altitude on the propagation of shock waves in tunnels was investigated by conducting explosion test and numerical *** on the experimental and numerical simulation results,a prediction model for the attenuation of the peak overpressure of tunnel shock waves at different altitudes was *** results showed that the peak overpressure decreased at the same measurement points in the tunnel entrance under the high altitude *** contrast,an increase in altitude accelerated the propagation speed of the shock wave in the *** average error between the peak shock wave overpressure obtained using the overpressure prediction formula and the measured test data was less than15%,the average error between the propagation velocity of shock waves predicted values and the test data is less than 10%.The method can effectively predict the overpressure attenuation of blast wave in tunnel at various altitudes.

Defects at the grain boundaries(GBs) of perovskite film highly restrict both the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells(PSCs). Herein, organic small molecules of butanedioic acid(BA) and acetylenedicarboxylic acid(AA), containing two carbonyl(C=O) groups and different core-units, were incorporated into perovskite as additives for PSCs application. Thanks to the strong coordination interaction between C=O group and under-coordinated Pb2+, the additives can effectively passivate film defects and regulate the perovskite crystallization, yielding high-quality perovskite films with lower defect densities. More importantly, the additives can efficiently regulate the charge transport behaviors in PSCs. Benefiting from the defects passivation and the regulation of charge carrier dynamics, the BA and AA-treaded PSCs show the power conversion efficiencies of 21.52% and 20.50%, which are higher than that of the control device(19.41%). Besides, the optimal devices exhibit a remarkable enhanced long-term stability and moisture tolerance compared to the pristine devices. Furthermore, the transient absorption spectrum reveals the mechanism of enhanced photovoltaic performances, attributing to the improvement of charge transport capability at the perovskite/Spiro-OMeTAD interfaces. This work affords a promising strategy to improve the efficiency and stability of PSCs through regulating the charge-carrier dynamic process in perovskite film.

Upcycling of plastic waste into N-containing compound is a novel and attractive strategy for its disposal and will opens up a promising direction for the production of value-added ***,an efficient strategy for the depolymerization-amination of polyphenylene oxide(PPO)into 2,6-dimethyl aniline is developed over a simple Pt/CeO_(2) *** C–O linkages of PPO can be selectively broken,producing 2,6-dimethyl phenol and then hydrogenated and aminated to 2,6-dimethyl cyclohexylamine over the Pt/CeO_(2) ***,2,6-dimethyl aniline was produced with high selectivity through the dehydrogenation of 2,6-dimethyl cyclohexylamine in the same *** can be used as the hydrogen-acceptor in the dehydrogenation step and enhance the selectivity of target *** N-containing compound,2,6-dimethyl aniline,is obtained and separated after HCl ***,the Pt/CeO_(2) catalyst exhibit remarkable stability and can sustainably catalyze the synthesis of 2,6-dimethyl aniline in several cycles.
