An in situ and ex situ reinforced powder metallurgy （PM） steel was prepared by the combination of high-energy ball milling and subsequent hot pressing of elemental mixed powders of Fe-10Cr-1Cu-1Ni-1Mo-2C by mass with the addition of NbC particles. A 40-h milling pretreatment makes the powder particles nearly equiaxed with an average diameter of-8 μm, and the ferrite grain size is refined to -6 nm. The sintered density reaches 99.0%-99.7% of the theoretical value when the sintering is conducted at temperatures greater than 1000℃ for 30 min. In the sintered bulk specimens, the formation of an in situ M7C3 （M = Cr, Fe, Mo） phase is confirmed. MTC3 carbides with several hundred nanometers in size are uniformly distributed in the matrix. Some ultra-fine second phases of 50-200 nm form around the ex situ NbC and in situ M7C3 particles. The sintered steel exhibits an excellent combination of hardness （〉 Hv 500） and compressive strength （2100-2420 MPa）.

In this study,a novel Ni-W-Co-Mo medium heavy alloy (MHA) was designed to improve its mechanical strength via Mo *** the Ni-42W-10Co-xM o alloy series,where x represents the weight percent of Mo and varies between 0,1,2,5,and 10,the microstructure transitions from a dendritic structure to a hypoeutectic structure as the Mo content increases from 0 to 5wt.%.Moreover,as the Mo content increases from 0to 10wt.%,the distribution of theμ-phase shifts from being individually dispersed to forming aggregates,and its volume fraction rises from 0.5%to 7.9%.Notably,theμ-phase evolves into an eutectic microstructure,which helps in minimizing the segregation of *** change is accompanied by a substantial enhancement in mechanical properties;specifically,the compressive yield strength at room temperature increases from 350 MPa to 646 MPa,indicating a significant 85%***,the microhardness increases from 230 HV to 304 *** dynamics simulations further reveal that the strengthening mechanism of Ni-42W-10Co-xM o alloys is Mo-induced solid solution strengthening and precipitation strengthening.

AIM: To evaluate the relationship between the expression of cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) and the biological behavior of gastric carcinoma. METHODS: Expression of syndecan-1, E-cadherin and integrin β3 were evaluated by immunohistochemical study in a total of 118 gastric carcinomas and 20 non- tumor gastric mucosas. RESULTS: The expressions of syndecan-1 and E-cadherin were significantly lower in gastric carcinoma compared to non-tumor gastric mucosa, and the low expression rates were positively correlated to the tumor invasion depth, vessel invasion, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis (P 0.05, P > 0.05 and P > 0.05 respectively). Positive correlation was observed between the expressions of syndecan-1 and E-cadherin, but they which were negatively correlated to the expression of integrin β3 (P year survival rate were lower in the cases with low expressions of syndecan-1 and E-cadherin and high expression of integrin β3 (P 0.05, P > 0.05 respectively). The nonlinear flow of liquids through nanoscale channels play an important role in the separation and purification properties of porous membranes,the manufacture of biofilm ionic channels and microfluidic chips,the production of micro electro-mechanical *** oil flow experiments were conducted through anodic alumina films with pore sizes of 26,67,89,and 124 nm,in which flow mechanism and characteristics of the oil through the nanoscale channels were *** nanoflow features are revealed:(1)The experimental flow rate is less than the theoretical flow rate through nanochannels,as solid-liquid interaction increasing flow resistance.(2)At small shear rate,the boundary layer is one,indicating existence of a threshold pressure of oil flow through nanochannels.(3)The boundary layer decreases with the increasing of shear rate,and it rapidly decreases as shear rate increases when the value of shear rate is small.(4)The drag coefficient decreases nonlinearly with increasing shear rate,decreasing more slowly when value of shear rate is big,and trending towards 1 in the case of large shear *** is shown that the non-linearity of flow is induced by great solid-liquid interaction in nano and microscale,and increasing the driving force can raise the efficiency at the nanometer scale.

Across-wind loads and effects have become increasingly important factors in the structural design of super-tall buildings and structures with increasing height. Across-wind loads and effects of tall buildings and structures are believed to be excited by inflow turbulence, wake, and inflow-structure interaction, which are very complicated. Although researchers have been focusing on the problem for over 30 years, the database of across-wind loads and effects and the computation methods of equivalent static wind loads have not yet been developed, most countries having no related rules in the load codes. Research results on the across-wind effects of tall buildings and structures mainly involve the determination of across-wind aerodynamic forces and across-wind aerodynamic damping, development of their databases, theoretical methods of equivalent static wind loads, and so on. In this paper we first review the current research on across-wind loads and effects of super-tall buildings and structures both at home and abroad. Then we present the results of our study. Finally, we illustrate a case study in which our research results are applied to a typical super-tall structure.

Fracture systems in nature are complicated. Normally vertical fractures develop in an isotropic background. However, the presence of horizontal fine layering or horizontal fractures in reservoirs makes the vertical fractures develop in a VTI（a transversely isotropic media with a vertical symmetry axis） background. In this case, reservoirs can be described better by using an orthorhombic medium instead of a traditional HTI（a transversely isotropic media with a horizontal symmetry axis） medium. In this paper, we focus on the fracture prediction study within an orthorhombic medium for oil-bearing reservoirs. Firstly, we simplify the reflection coefficient approximation in an orthorhombic medium. Secondly, the impact of horizontal fracturing on the reflection coefficient approximation is analyzed theoretically. Then based on that approximation, we compare and analyze the relative impact of vertical fracturing, horizontal fracturing and fluid indicative factor on traditional ellipse fitting results and the scaled B attributes. We find that scaled B attributes are more sensitive to vertical fractures, so scaled B attributes are proposed to predict vertical fractures. Finally, a test is developed to predict the fracture development intensity of an oil-bearing reservoir. The fracture development observed in cores is used to validate the study method. The findings of both theoretical analyses and practical application reveal that compared with traditional methods, this new approach has improved the prediction of fracture development intensity in oil-bearing reservoirs.
