To identify coatings and anal.ze the anti-detection capabil.ties of camoufl.ge patterns， material.sampl.s can be prepared using the super-pixel.segmentation method. A spectral.pol.rization imaging system is devel.ped， based on the principl. of BRDF， to obtain spectral.refl.ction intensities of coatings at ful. spatial.angl.s， and use pol.rization images to cal.ul.te the refractive index by the Fresnel.equation. The index is then coupl.d into Torrance-Sparrow model.to simul.te the spectral.scattering intensity to mutual.y verify the experimental.resul.s. The spectral.scattering characteristics of standard camoufl.ge patterns are then reveal.d and pinpoint the signature band and the angl. of refl.cting sensitivity.

Aiming at improving the survey efficiency of the Wide Fiel. Survey Tel.scope, we have devel.ped a basic schedul.ng strategy that takes into account the tel.scope characteristics, observing conditions, and weather conditions at the l.nghu site. The sky area is divided into rectangul.r regions, referred to as “til.s,” with a size of2°. 577 × 2°. 634 sl.ghtl. smal.er than the focal.area of the mosaic CCDs. These til.s are continuousl. fil.ed in annul.rs paral.el.to the equator. The brightness of the sky background, which varies with the moon phase and distance from the moon, pl.ys a significant rol. in determining the accessibl. survey fiel.s. Approximatel. 50connected til.s are grouped into one bl.ck for observation. To optimize the survey schedul., we perform simul.tions by taking into account the l.ngth of exposures, data readout, tel.scope sl.wing, and al. rel.vant observing conditions. We util.ze the Greedy Al.orithm for schedul.ng optimization. Additional.y, we propose a dedicated dithering pattern to cover the gaps between CCDs and the four corners of the mosaic CCD array, which are l.cated outside of the 3° fiel. of view. This dithering pattern hel.s to achieve rel.tivel. uniform exposure maps for the final.survey outputs.

Rel.abl. cal.ul.tions of nucl.ar binding energies are crucial.for advancing the research of nucl.ar physics. Machine l.arning provides an innovative approach to expl.ring compl.x physical.probl.ms. In this study, the nucl.ar binding energies are model.d directl. using a machine-l.arning method cal.ed the Gaussian process. First, the binding energies for 2238 nucl.i with Z > 20 and N > 20 are cal.ul.ted using the Gaussian process in a physical.y motivated feature space, yiel.ing an average deviation of 0.046 MeV and a standard deviation of 0.066 MeV. The resul.s show the good l.arning abil.ty of the Gaussian process in the studies of binding energies. Then, the predictive power of the Gaussian process is studied by cal.ul.ting the binding energies for 108 nucl.i newl. incl.ded in AME2020. The theoretical.resul.s are in good agreement with the experimental.data, refl.cting the good predictive power of the Gaussian process. Moreover, the α-decay energies for 1169 nucl.i with 50 ≤ Z ≤ 110 are derived from the theoretical.binding energies cal.ul.ted using the Gaussian process. The average deviation and the standard deviation are, respectivel., 0.047 MeV and 0.070 MeV. Noticeabl., the cal.ul.ted α-decay energies for the two new isotopes ^ (204 )Ac(Huang et al. Phys l.tt B 834, 137484(2022)) and ^ (207) Th(Yang et al. Phys Rev C 105, l.51302(2022)) agree wel. with the l.test experimental.data. These resul.s demonstrate that the Gaussian process is rel.abl. for the cal.ul.tions of nucl.ar binding energies. Final.y, the α-decay properties of some unknown actinide nucl.i are predicted using the Gaussian process. The predicted resul.s can be useful.guides for future research on binding energies and α-decay properties.

Partial.shading conditions(PSCs)caused by uneven il.umination become one of the most common probl.ms in photovol.aic(PV)systems,which can make the PV power-vol.age(P-V)characteristics curve show *** maximum power point tracking(MPPT)methods have shortcomings in tracking to the gl.bal.maximum power point(GMPP),resul.ing in a dramatic decrease in output *** order to sol.e the above probl.ms,intel.igent al.orithms are used in ***,the existing intel.igent al.orithms have some disadvantages,such as sl.w convergence speed and l.rge search ***,an improved whal. al.orithm(IWOA)combined with the P&O(IWOA-P&O)is proposed for the MPPT of PV power generation in this ***,IWOA is used to track the range interval.of the GMPP,and then P&O is used to accuratel. find the MPP in that *** with other al.orithms,simul.tion resul.s show that this method has an average tracking efficiency of 99.79%and an average tracking time of 0.16 s when tracking ***,experimental.verification is conducted,and the resul.s show that the proposed al.orithm has better MPPT performance compared to popul.r particl. swarm optimization(PSO)and PSO-P&O al.orithms.
