Transistor size is constantly being reduced to improve performance as well as power consumption. For the channel length to be reduced, the corresponding gate dielectric thickness should also be reduced. Unfortunately, graphene devices are more complicated due to an extra capacitance called quantum capacitance （CQ） which limits the effective gate dielectric reduction. In this work, we analyzed the effect of CQ on device-scaling issues by extracting it from scaling of the channel length of devices. In contrast to previous reports for metal-insulator- metal structures, a practical device structure was used in conjunction with direct radio-frequency field-effect transistor measurements to describe the graphene channels. In order to precisely extract device parameters, we reassessed the equivalent circuit, and concluded that the on-state model should in fact be used. By careful consideration of the underlap region, our device modeling was shown to be in good agreement with the experimental data. CQ contributions to equivalent oxide thickness were analyzed in detail for varying impurity concentrations in graphene. Finally, we were able to demonstrate that despite contributions from CQ, graphene＇s high mobility and low-voltage operation allows for ~raphene channels suitable for next generation transistors.

BACKGROUND Emergency surgical resection is a standard treatment for right-sided malignant colonic obstruction; however, the procedure is associated with high rates of mortality and morbidity. Although a bridge to surgery can be created to obviate the need for emergency surgery, its effects on long-term outcomes and the most practical management strategies for right-sided malignant colonic obstruction remain *** To determine the appropriate management approach for right-sided malignant colonic *** Forty patients with right-sided malignant colonic obstruction who underwent curative resection from January 2007 to April 2017 were included in the *** compared the perioperative and long-term outcomes of patients who received bridges to surgery established using decompression tubes and those created using self-expandable metallic stents(SEMS). The primary outcome was the overall survival duration(OS) and the secondary endpoints were the diseasefree survival(DFS) duration and the preoperative and postoperative morbidity rates. Analysis was performed on an intention-to-treat *** There were 21 patients in the decompression tube group and 19 in the SEMS group. There were no significant differences in the perioperative morbidity rates of the two groups. The OS rate was significantly higher in the decompression tube group than in the SEMS group(5-year OS rate; decompression tube 79.5%,SEMS 32%, P = 0.043). Multivariate analysis revealed that the bridge to surgery using a decompression tube was significantly associated with the OS(hazard ratio, 17.41; P = 0.004). The 3-year DFS rate was significantly higher in thedecompression tube group than in the SEMS group(68.9% vs 45.9%; log-rank test,P = 0.032). Endometrial response to conceptus-derived estrogen and interleukin-1β at the time of implantation in pigs

The establishment of pregnancy is a complex process that requires a well-coordinated interaction between the implanting conceptus and the maternal uterus. In pigs, the conceptus undergoes dramatic morphological and functional changes at the time of implantation and introduces various factors, including estrogens and cytokines,interleukin-1β2(IL1 B2), interferon-γ(IFNG), and IFN-δ(IFND), into the uterine lumen. In response to ovarian steroid hormones and conceptus-derived factors, the uterine endometrium becomes receptive to the implanting conceptus by changing its expression of cell adhesion molecules, secretory activity, and immune response. Conceptus-derived estrogens act as a signal for maternal recognition of pregnancy by changing the direction of prostaglandin(PG) F2αfrom the uterine vasculature to the uterine lumen. Estrogens also induce the expression of many endometrial genes,including genes related to growth factors, the synthesis and transport of PGs, and immunity. IL1 B2, a pro-inflammatory cytokine, is produced by the elongating conceptus. The direct effect of IL1 B2 on endometrial function is not fully understood. IL1 B activates the expression of endometrial genes, including the genes involved in IL1 B signaling and PG synthesis and transport. In addition, estrogen or IL1 B stimulates endometrial expression of IFN signaling molecules,suggesting that estrogen and IL1 B act cooperatively in priming the endometrial function of conceptus-produced IFNG and IFND that, in turn, modulate endometrial immune response during early pregnancy. This review addresses information about maternal-conceptus interactions with respect to endometrial gene expression in response to conceptus-derived factors, focusing on the roles of estrogen and IL1 B during early pregnancy in pigs.

Does policy concession affect coalition formation among dissent groups? Despite its importance,the correlation between policy concession and dissent coalition largely remains *** this paper,I address the question by using the policy concession in the authoritarian South Korea in the late-1983,known as the Policy of *** I demonstrate that the policy concession decreased the student activists’ support to other dissent groups,I also found that effects of the policy concession was mediated by students’ relative increasing interest in their peripheral movement goal of school-freedom and decreased interest in broad goals shared between students and non-student dissent *** is because,I argue,the policy concession highlighted the issue of freedom of school and diverted the student activists’ attention away from common movement goals.I contend that my finding is applicable to other countries because policy concession on peripheral movement goals is not delimited to ***,I do not argue that all types of policy concession would decrease dissent *** concession that concern broad common goals between dissent groups may strengthen dissent coalition by highlighting the common cause.I thus argue that one must examine what specific dissent movement agendas that policy concession underscores to understand its effects on dissent coalition.

Industrial Control System(ICS),which is based on Industrial IoT(IIoT),has an intelligent mobile environment that supports various mobility,but there is a limit to relying only on the physical security of the ICS *** to various threat factors that can disrupt the workflow of the IIoT,machine learning-based anomaly detection technologies are being presented;it is also essential to study for increasing detection performance to minimize model errors for promoting stable ICS *** this paper,we established the requirements for improving the anomaly detection performance in the IIoT-based ICS environment by analyzing the related *** that,we presented an improving method of the performance of a machine learning model specialized for IIoT-based ICS,which increases the detection rate by applying correlation coefficients and clustering;it provides a mechanism to predict thresholds on a ***,we adopted the HAI dataset environment that actively reflected the characteristics of IIoT-based ICS and demonstrated that performance could be improved through comparative experiments with the traditional method and our proposed *** presented method can further improve the performance of commonly applied error-based detection techniques and includes a primary method that can be enhanced over existing detection techniques by analyzing correlation coefficients between features to consider feedback between ICS *** can contribute to improving the performance of several detection models applied in ICS and other areas.

Pig farmers want to have an effective solution for automatically detecting and tracking multiple pigs and alerting their conditions in order to recognize disease risk factors *** this paper,therefore,we propose a novel monitoring system using an Artificial Intelligence of Things(AIoT)technique combining artificial intelligence and Internet of Things(IoT).The proposed system consists of AIoT edge devices and a central monitoring ***,an AIoT edge device extracts video frame images from a CCTV camera installed in a pig pen by a frame extraction method,detects multiple pigs in the images by a faster region-based convolutional neural network(RCNN)model,and tracks them by an object center-point tracking algorithm(OCTA)based on bounding box regression outputs of the faster ***,it sends multi-pig tracking images to the central monitoring server,which alerts them to pig farmers through a social networking service(SNS)agent in cooperation with an oneM2M-compliant IoT alerting *** results showed that the multi-pig tracking method achieved the multi-object tracking accuracy performance of about 77%.In addition,we verified alerting operation by confirming the images received in the SNS smartphone application.
